Farm & TableAlways lovely4th time here. It did not disappoint. Would have given 5 stars, but thought the fish special was overcooked. A minor thing overall, as everything else was wonderful. Always enjoy going to Farm and Table!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMIt was my second time andIt was my second time and I was not disappointed. We were greeted graciously and seated outside as I had requested. Our waiter was very nice. The manager came over to ask if we were enjoying ourselves and if she could bring or do anything for us. It was a lovely Mother's Day we won't hesitate to come again.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AM"Ambiance" - ???Uncomfortabe wooden chairs - a bit wobbley.....unappealing wooden tables arranged in a fashion that made it seem crowded.
The feeling was it was a good place to eat......not a place to "dine!"......although the prices were dining prices and not merely eating prices.
We might return, but, then, there a much nicer places to "dine" in Albuquerque,5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMwonderful experienceThe food was fresh and tasty.
I could have eaten a quart of the homemade sorbet, it was mmmmmmmmmmm-mmmmmm, delicious.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMBirthday CelebrationWe celebrated my husband's birthday and as always the food was delicious!! It was fun to see the new offerings for spring/summer on the menu.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMTook friends that hadn't been.Took friends that hadn't been. Had a few issues with the food (duck undercooked and a few clams were closed) but loved the place and said they would return.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMUnique and deliciousFarm and Table was great! I loved the food and the atmosphere. It's a little on the expensive side, so we will only go there for special occasions. I look forward to my next visit!5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMExceptionalAlbuquerque is a very unique place compared to most medium to big cities in the country. With that said Albuquerque is decades behind the rest of the country in infrastructure in all aspects economically to socially. However with that said, this restaurant stands out among what our city has to offer. If you have any type of genuine taste or class you will appreciate everything this restaurant has to offer. P.S. Order the duck if is is on the menu!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMOur home away from homeWe come to F&T as often as possible. We love the quality of the food, the friendly & efficient service, the wonderful atmosphere, the reasonable portions, etc, etc, etc - we love it!
Heather & Jessica5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food is good, not yourThe food is good, not your typical everyday items, but the service is outstanding! A little pricey.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAlbuquerque gemThis restaurant is such a great find. The food is wonderful and focuses on local ingredients and produce. The ambience is cozy and feels special. The fireplace inside is lovely and the patio seating outside is beautiful on a nice day. Great wine list with options from France, Spain and the US. Love this place!!!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWorth a return visitThis was a great find---food was excellent, service was friendly and efficient. We were seated close to the service pick up which made for more traffic (waiters) and more noise, but were still able to carry on a conversation. The restaurant was originally going to be a coffee house and still had the charm of a smaller, rustic place. Our party had the duck and the lamb, both very tasty and well-prepared. Appetizers included a kale and mushroom empanada and a gourmet selection of cheeses. We washed it all down with a well-chosen red Italian wine. Dessert was equally good, a flourless chocolate cake. I will definitely return, maybe try the patio when it's warmer. Parking is very limited, but the staff had suggestions for nearby street parking.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGetting ThereFirst off, there is no better locale for a quiet, beautiful ambience. The restaurant looks out on fields and its personal greenhouses and planting beds. The courtyard decor is very soothing and somehow, even though there are quite a few tables, it is a very quiet dining experience. We would recommend it highly from this perspective.
We are foodies and kind of snobbish. The mussels we had were fabulous. The combination of citrus and beer (!) was unique and really flavorful. As to the entrees, the house pasta was a tad anemic. My husband makes ours in-house and it really is a better product.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAdventurous Eaters Will Love It!Along with more traditional fine dining menu options, this place has all of the techniques and ingredients that you've seen on Food Network and been wanting to try! Delicious apple foam and caviar topped scallops; melt in your mouth halibut cheeks; incredibly tender and crispy braised pork belly! Oh, and you will be pleasantly surprised by a very well-selected budget-conscious wine list. Someone took their time to find the best wines under $50 for sure!5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious food with many optionsDelicious food with many options for different diets -- for example, I easily found tasty, gluten-free dishes.4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMThis establishment is a gem. This establishment is a gem. The food is fresh, from local suppliers and was exquisitely prepared. Whether you are a meat-eater or a vegetarian, there are plenty of choices on the menu. The Mushroom & Kale Empanadas are delicious! We ate outdoors on both our visits, listening to birds sing and watching the sun set over the newly planted fields.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMThe duck breast and halibutThe duck breast and halibut cheeks were delicious. We wanted to give dessert another chance. This time we ordered the ice cream- lemon chiffon, chocolate, and strawberry. It was a warm night so this was perfect. Our favorite was the lemon chiffon. The chocolate was a bit gooey and the strawberry fit the bill. Outdoor dining was in full swing and it was definitely a perfect evening to dine outdoors! We'll be back again for sure!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was fantastic andThe food was fantastic and the outdoor patio is a lovely dining environment.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AM=We went here with a couple of friends - our second time and their first. It was a windy day, so I was worried we would be seated on the patio and we were; BUT it was perfectly shielded from the weather and we were fine. As for the food? What can I say - excellent, all of it. From the sausage fennel soup was to the flourless chocolate cake. All great. Everyone had a different entree - and everyone love their dish (duck, lamb, halibut and beef). We will be back and recommend it do many people.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWe felt the food was outstanding. We felt the food was outstanding. However, we would not return unless we could eat on the patio since the tables in side are too noisy. We tr8ied one and could not hear each other even across the table.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWe loved it! Our favoriteWe loved it! Our favorite restaurant by far in Albuquerque.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent experience@ OurExcellent experience@ Our food server was excellent. We loved everything!!! We will be back and can recommend it other picky diners..4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMNew North Valley FavoriteFarm and Table is becoming my favorite restaurant in Albuquerque. The food is fresh, origional and very well prepared. The service is professional and attentive without being intrusive(sometimes a problem in ABQ). My only complaint is the wine list, which is minimalist to say the least.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMDisappointing DessertsAs always the main course and starters were very well prepared. Julian, our server, was awesome. Only the desserts were unacceptable. We had the butterscotch pots de creme which was smooth and velvety. The tart was just OK- it was supposed to be filled with raspberries but they substituted with rhubarb. The top was garnished with a little candied profiterole that stuck to my teeth- that was not enjoyable. Finally the chocolate flourless cake was more like a crunchy biscuit. We were able to return it but the second one was just as crunchy. Thus our wonderful meal ended in a disappointment. We've had similar experiences with dessert at our past dining experiences here. We will go back to F&T but dessert will be somewhere else.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding location and facility.Outstanding location and facility. Food was superb and reasonably priced.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was great. Ihad theThe food was great. Ihad the poached eggs over small pieces of toast with fresh green garnishments. it was small but certainly adequate. My guest had the frittata and she claimed that it was excellent. In addition to that we enjoyed a tray of baked goods. We were also introduced to the bakery chef who was eager to explain her creations.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMOur server, Joe, was rightOur server, Joe, was right on with his "out of this world" recommendations on the Fish special and the Halibut Cheeks. Also, the mussels appetizer was sooo delicious that we ordered another round for dessert. Will definately be going back!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMMy husband and I went to FarmMy husband and I went to Farm and Table to celebrate his birthday, and had a wonderful time. We got great recommendations on food, and had a beautiful table on the patio, next to the fountain. The food was wonderful and inventive. We've recently moved to Albuquerque from Oregon, where farm to table dining is very propular. We were very excited to find a place with a similar concept and food quality.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMBeautiful space, great food,Beautiful space, great food, wonderful service. My husband and I were on a date and had a great time. We thought it would be an okay place to bring our 4 year old for brunch when our family comes to town. We will be back.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMBeen to Farm and Table severalBeen to Farm and Table several times. It is always wonderful! Great brunch and dinner menu. We'll be back.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMMost enjoyable spring Sunday brunchWe came here for a breakfast brunch to celebrate our anniversary. We thought it would be less crowded Sunday morning and it was perfect. The food delicious and the portions were large, in fact larger than we needed. The fruit salad was fresh; a pleasant change from most other restaurants. We plan to return some evening with friends.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMThoroughly enjoyable. TheThoroughly enjoyable. The food here is outstanding. Every dish is prepared with great care.
Next time I will ask for a table on the patio. I found the inside very loud.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMCelebrating a BirthdayThe experience we had was perfect. We were celebrating my sister's birthday (8 of us in total), and the wait staff was wonderful. The food was great! Appreciate that we could accommodate the vegetarians in the group with such exquisite food, too. We sat on the patio, and the view of the fields was lovely. All around, a very nice experience, which we look forward to repeating in the future.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMMy husband and I loved dinningMy husband and I loved dinning at Farm and Table. Our food was outstanding and it may be the best restaurant in town. The owner and staff were attentive and caring and the North Valley location and view of neighboring farms was an incredible cherry on top.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was very good but feltFood was very good but felt like it was overpriced for the serving size4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMHave been there four timesHave been there four times now, and it's consistently good.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our first time atThis was our first time at Farm & Table, but we'll definitely go back. A little higher price, but the restaurant and patios are beautiful. Service was great explaining all of the dishes and ingredients.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMA pork belly delightwe've had the pleasure of dining at Farm & Table 4 times and each time we have been more than pleased with the service and food. The pork belly is a real treat and the flourless chocolate dessert is wonderful! A good wine selection complements every menu item. Absolutely one of the best restaurants in the ABQ/Santa Fe area!4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went with another coupleWe went with another couple early on a quiet Thursday evening just after they had opened their patio for dining. The weather was perfect for patio dining. The service was excellent. The chef experiments with flavor combinations that are unique, based on what is currently in season locally. For instance, the halibut that was served included a pureed turnip and horseradish sauce and asparagus foam. And the desserts are always excellent. Don't expect the same items on the menu if you return. The items depend on what is in season.
We have visited often and will definitely return.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMAn enjoyable experience. We always enjoy the beautifully prepared food at Farm and Table. Service was great.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food is delicious, thereThe food is delicious, there just is not much of it. Loud voices--staff and patrons--can be difficult to block out in the main dining area. Service was friendly and efficient.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMIt was a bit noisy for myIt was a bit noisy for my hard of hearing parents. Next time we will try eating outside.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMwonderful place to eat forwonderful place to eat for brunch. reasonably priced, great food and wonderful new mexican atmosphere on a farm.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMI highly recommendMy husband and I went to Farm and Table for Easter Brunch. We both loved our dishes. The food was fresh and very tasty. We will definitely return for lunch and dinner. We will definatly add Farm and Table to our list of favorite restaurants.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect for brunch!Delightful! A selection of dishes, American and Southwest, each terrific in its own way: produce straight from the field, other ingredients locally sourced and geniuses in the kitchen to put it all together. The green chile was not so nuclear you couldn't taste the dish; the frittata was light and laced with asparagus; and the dreamy desserts, oh, my. Service was efficient without being pushy and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. We'll be back.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have been to Farm and TableWe have been to Farm and Table three times, twice for dinner and once for Brunch. It is a charming restaurant with excellent food and service, small but with the possibility of expanding to the outdoors. Our niece who owns a restaurant in Wales that serves local produce when possible took the menu home as she found the preparations of each dish interesting.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMReally beautiful place greatReally beautiful place great outdoor setting food was fresh and amazing3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMThese folks have it dialedThese folks have it dialed in. The scenery, ambiance, personality of the location and decor are warm, comfortable, unique, yet very New Mexico. The food is outstanding with interesting twists on wholesome, fresh vegetables, meats, fish and they work well. All their dishes are flavorful, but never overly seasoned or too heavy with dairy or meat fat. Wine and beverage selections are wonderful and more than adequate. Service is excellent. Absolutely the best of its kind restaurant in Albuquerque!!3/30/2013 12:00:00 AM
