Diner Reviews
  • "Creative food, great atmosphere....lovely wine and beer choices... Cleverly plated meals! Dedicated chef... Well done."

  • "It's not enough that the food is fresh and prepared by a master, but the service is just right; i.e. attentive without being overbearing. Then when the chef comes out and visits in a genuine, engaging manner, well that caps the dining experience. How very impressive !"

  • "Everything about the evening was perfect. This was our first time at Farm & Table and we could have not have been more pleased with the entire experience. We have lived and travelled around the whole world (Military) and retired here and found a treasure! The meal was perfect as was the service! We will be back often!"

  • "Great restaurant. I've been there twice, although service isn't that great. The ambience is nice, food is thoughtful, but perhaps they could train wait staff to be a little more attentive. It took a long time to find someone to get our check both times."

  • "The only gripe I have with my dining experience at Farm and Table is using your reservation system. We were sat 30 mins after our reservation."

  • "We had a pleasant first time experience. Just a couple nits.. they seated us outside in their enclosed patio, it was fine, but since it was evening, it would have been nice to be inside. It was a little cold up against the enclosure. Our food was served very promptly after our appetizer and it felt a little rushed, ordering a bottle of wine it was a push to finish it...but one must. We had a wonderful waiter, the food was delicious and although it appeared sparse, it was just the right amount. Lemon soup for dessert shared was delicioso!"

  • "Service was quite good, but servers should make sure they inform diners of the " market price " of items on the menu, or any specials. I thought that $46.00 for a mediocre filet was exorbitant. The salad was very good, and the atmosphere was pleasant."

  • "Food was dried out, seemingly pre-cooked to a certain point and then finished before serving. My guess is the kitchen and its staff are too small for the number of tables in the restaurant. The food, at least from my latest experience, has gone downhill from the last time I was there over a year ago."

  • "The food was superb, but the service showed a lack of training/experience by the server. The orders were inaccurate, there was no follow-on check on beverages, and the promised adjustments to the bill were not made. Kind of spoiled the evening."

  • "This is such a lovely spot and what the owners have done to make this place cozy and attractive is delightful. The wonderful fresh food, the good service and the special dinners done on occasion make this one of our favorite places! The wines are a little high priced and we wished they had a house wine at a lower price but otherwise it is a perfect little spot! Keep up the GREAT work Farm & Table!"

  • "The food served here was quite good, from the appetizers to the desert!! Highly recommend it."

  • "I waited three minutes to be greater at the host stand. I waited 8 minutes for a server to greet me at our table. I ordered soup which the waiter forgot and I got my soup after my entree. Upon bringing my entered the server titled the plate to far and my potatoes slid onto the table. It took too long to get the check as the server had too many tables. The food was great, no doubt in that that."

  • "I took my girlfriend to breakfast to celebrate her job offer. It was perfect! We have such different eating habits and Farm and Table had options for both of us, the coffee is fantastic and the ambiance was lovely! We had the perfect celebratory meal and time. I definitely recommend it!"

  • "Every time we go back it is as enjoyable as the first time . The food , ambiance and staff are all excellent even the parking lot is nice but small . Great place for a first date if you are really trying to impress the lady."

  • "However, while the ambiance and service is always outstanding, the food quality is not always up to the prices charged. Our dinner experience there last Friday was Farm and Table at its worst. In attendance were myself, my wife, her son and his two young children of elementary school age. I mention the age group because Farm and Table does not seem to cater to children, no child's plates offered. We ordered a $36 steak for one child and a $32 lamb dish for the other, thinking it would be too much for them. But it turned out that the smallish adult portions served are ok enough for small children and not enough for the adults in the party and we went home still hungry."

  • "Loved my brunch at Farm & Table! Mimosas and a delicious meal in a perfect setting. Not stuffy or pretentious. Excellent service! Going to plan a major event there this spring after just one visit to convince us."

  • "inventive, fresh, wonderful tasting food! Couldn't be better, with a variety of choices for all. Service was terrific, and it was a treat to walk through the gardens where much of the vegetables and herbs are grown!"

  • "The reservation was for 12: noon Sunday brunch and our table next to the fireplace was ready on time. In fact the timing for the entire meal was perfect, the food was excellent and the service top-notch. This was our second visit to Farm & Table and we'll definitely be back, and soon we hope. ."

  • ""Farm and Table" is not located either downtown or uptown. It is located in a quiet residential/light industrial part of town on the Northwest side. But do not let its quiet surroundings fool you! The food which is served is of the highest quality, and is fresh every day. We started our meal with the "Farm Fries" which are prepared with farm fresh potatoes and sea salt. They are served with a homemade dipping sauce which tasted faintly of onions and which was out of this world. The Halibut we shared had just been received that morning, and the chef carved the entire fish, selecting the best portions to serve as his fish entrée for the evening. We topped off our meal with the "Flourless Chocolate Cake". It was all delicious!!!"

  • "Real food, well prepared, from a restaurant attached to a farm, wonderful ambience. A sorely needed break from corporate food at our conference's hotel. Thank goodness!"

  • "I wanted to like Farm and Table, but the food was just ok and the prices for said food were outrageous. The portions were tiny and our table of 8 was mostly disappointed."

  • "I have wanted to try Farm & Table but my husband wasn't sold. I made a reservation for my Birthday dinner as he had to go where I wanted to go as it was my day. He and I absolutely LOVED it!! Everything was incredible from the ambiance, the service, to the food which as my husband put it, was the best mean out that we have ever had anywhere period. We will most definitely be back again and again and again. This is a place that makes trouble for a person as you want to make sure they are getting enough business to stay around but you don't want to tell so many people that it gets too popular to even be able to get into. Love, Love, Love!!!"

  • "I have been to Farm and Table many times. The food and service are always great. They change up the menu enough, that there is a nice variety. I higher recommend this place to all my friends. All of them that have went, really liked it."

  • "We absolutely love to go for Sunday Brunch. I get the eggs and enchiladas or the carne adovada! It's the best! The food is fresh and organic and local too! Don't miss it!"

  • "Since I introduce this resturant to my mother it is the only place she wants to eat in the Albuquerque area. This might not sound like a big deal to you but my parents regularly cook meals of a similar caliber for themselves at home. We love the quality of the meal, appreciate the overall concept of the evolving waste-free menu, and look forward to going back to try something else on the menu. The portion size is perfect and allows you to share a dessert guilt-free if you could choose just one. This place explodes with culinary creations in the summer with their garden blooming and livestock maturing, but that doesn't take away from the menu during the other seasons."

  • "Who knew this culinary gem was nestled in the North Valley? Unpretentious and cozy but elegant. And a great menu. We went for brunch but will be back for more. Ask to sit outside. The all-weather glassed in patio is lovely and enjoys a great view of the gardens from which your meal is harvested. Waitstaff was attentive, knowledgable and accommodating. You won't be disappointed!"

  • "I had the chicken fried steak with eggs. It was excellent."

  • "I really enjoyed the food. It is probably some of the best in albuquerque if you are going for farm to table gourmet. But as much I enjoy the food the service left some to be desired. Although my waiter was very nice their timing was off. They would come by when we in the middle of eating but then leave us waiting when we wanted to order another course. Also because the rooms are nothing but hard floors and stonewalls it is a little noisy. Those things aside the food was wonderful and the meyer lemon soup was just about the best thing I have ever had."

  • "I absolutely LOVE Farm to Table, I have thoroughly enjoyed every meal I've had there. The food is AMAZING!!"

  • "Our first time here was just for a date night. Food was great. Ambiance was excellent. Food preparation and service was a tad slow. We were seated for about 10 minutes before the waitstaff approached. It made us feel like we weren't a priority. Even the manger when he came by, chatted briefly with us while he had great conversations with other tables. We will go back because we like the fact they primariy serve locally grown products and for special occasions."
    Dined on 3/15/2014
  • "The food was not only excellent, but the wait staff accommodated special needs for one of our party, with grace and a total willingness to please. The desserts were the best I've had for a long time."

  • "Enjoyed our meal immensely. The service was attentive but not solicitous. The wines were good but could have been a bit better selection considering the eclectic menu. The meals, beet salad, steak, duck, and accidental chicken were all wonderful. Dessert, a creme caramel was a bit overdone. The owner, assume came by several times to check on us and the chef came out to say hello. Just an overall nice experience. I will go back again and try other things in season and would recommend them for excellent food and service. (the accidental chicken was a quickly fixed service error but the owner insisted we keep it and I'm glad as it was really good as well)"
