Diner Reviews
  • "Stopped by this place accidentally and looked it up online. I was very pleased with F&T. Friendly service and they were very accommodating, even though I did not have a reservation."

  • "Food was expensive for what we got in our plates! High expectations for a poor delivery last night...lasagna and vegetables harvest were quite disappointing..."

  • "where you can get a real food meal. Albuquerque is a foodie wasteland, except for places like this!"

  • "I've been there twice and have truly enjoyed the food at Farm & Table! However, the portions are much too large. Farm & Table is promoting good health by offering organic food grown on the farm and taken directly to the table, but there is a contradiction in the large portions offered. Although generous, I noticed many people leaving food behind including myself which is wasteful. Those people that frequent Farm & Table and eat everything on their plates will definitely put on some extra pounds. Please offer regular healthy portions and also your current super portions so that the customer can decide on the onset how many calories to consume. With the current obesity epidemic, it would be a strong message from Farm & Table"

  • "My expectations were lots of fresh veggies and local produce. The salad was fine but I had 2 tomatoes and 3 thinly slices of cucumbers. No fresh herbs etc to set it above the rest of the restaurants. Did buy some fresh okra as I was leaving which I cooked later in the day that was great."

  • "It was a long way to drive for mediocre food. We were there for brunch on Sunday morning and were very disappointed in the enchilatas--very bland tasting. We had a nice table on the patio and very glad we were on the patio because the inside was very very noisy with children crying and dishes clanking etc.etc. The service was excellent , we were just disappointed in the food."

  • "We rode our bikes along the Bosque Trail from the zoo to Almeda and then road the short distance over to Farm&Table for Sunday brunch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely table on the patio overlooking the farm. Service was friendly and attentive. The migas, bacon, and potatoes were delicious. The quiche was a little dry but everything else was so good, we were willing to overlook it. We had a leisurely meal and then walked around the farm for a little bit before riding back to the zoo. All in all a lovely morning."

  • "Four of us enjoyed our meal. We shared 2 entrees and 2 appetizers. Were seated outside and the evening was very nice. The carrot soup was divine. Our server did an excellent job. We will go back."

  • "This was an exceptional dining experience. The atmosphere was bright and cheerful. The food was wonderfully prepared, filled with mouth pleasing flavor. And our server, Nick, couldn't have been more attentive without being fussy, fitting the whole ambience of the place. This is clearly one of ABQ's best restaurants, serving imaginative meals using primarily local suppliers. And the price, while not on the inexpensive side, fit the quality of the experience. Highly recommended."

  • "My friend and I had a very good dinner. The only real issue was the size of the special dessert was very very small. Waiter could have checked on us more often. A misunderstanding but we were left sitting for 35 mins without ordering."

  • "The hostess was very efficient with seeing that we would be seated at the time of our reservation. The food was wonderful. We sat on the patio and enjoyed a beautiful evening in a calming setting. Made reservations for another time!"

  • "I have always enjoyed going to Farm and Table but I have to say that this last time, the food was good but not as outstanding as before when Jaye was the chef. Pairings and platings continue to be creative and the service is always wonderful ... my companion and I shared the ribeye .. it was tender and done as requested by nothing special as far as taste/seasoning...could have been seared on the outside perhaps? The kale salad was lovely but the pork belly, Jaye's speciality, really was nothing special. It Farm and Table loosing its touch?"

  • "Expensive for what you get. After leaving I had to go eat. That's after spending $100.00. Everything was just ok."

  • "Our reservation through OpenTable on the drive over made it very easy. I love this new tech! We had no problem parking as we dined at their opening time. The parking lot is small. Bread and herbed olive oil were both unique in taste. Pork belly outstanding. Tomato bisque also. Salads were fresh and just what you would expect with a farm right there. Entrees were stellar. Just right in proportions. Dessert was the chocolate cheesecake and put just the right ending on the meal. Chef came by and was personable. Server outstanding. Rest of staff did well as well. We will be back."

  • "My mother-in-law had been wanting to eat here for some time and we decided to make her birthday a special event at Farm & Table. First and foremost the food was excellent and the service impeccable. Our waiter was helpful with suggestions and most patient with my 87 year old mother-in-law's questions. My daughter, who just moved back here from New York, said this the freshest and well prepared dinner she has ever had, and we need to make this a regular rather than a special event destination. Without knowing it was a birthday, the service and food were like it was all planned for her. That is just the quality of the food and fine service that is what you do. Thank you so much and hope to see you more often."

  • " A great menu that is always unique and changing. Dessert is out of this world. The patio sitting is the best!"

  • "Farm & Table is impressive, starting with the Parking Lot, which is very attractive, believe it or not, if a little short on spaces. The service is very good to excellent, the food the same, and the ambiance outstandiing. This is a must restaurant for special occasions. It is high-class rustic and the place is just very attractive. Always ask what is "off the menu." The desserts are great also. Did I mention I hate writing reviews?"

  • "Farm and Table consistently offers an exciting, delectable menu using fresh farm and locally grown organic food and this last visit was no exception. Wine list is complete enough and one can always find good pairings. The patio dining offers a quieter atmosphere to accommodate those of us who struggle somewhat with hearing others in our group. The member of our group who has gluten intolerance always had a variety of delicious choices on the menu. Food was presented attractively and was a delight to our palates. It's fun to visit Farm and Table at various times throughout the year to taste fresh offerings of each season."

  • "I come here at least every couple of months and I am always happy I did. The smaller menu means that a lot of attention is given to each dish. The pastries are outstanding every time! I also appreciate the great coffee. I just love this place."

  • "We enjoyed our recent dinner at Farm and Table. The outside seating is lovely and comfortable. It started sprinkling and the staff brought out umbrellas to ensure that patrons did not get wet and could still enjoy sitting outside. The flavors of the dishes were excellent and there was a varied and interesting menu."

  • "This was our third visit to Farm & table. The food was as good as our previous visits. The staff were friendly and courteous at all times. The drinks, appetizers and main course were delivered at reasonable intervals making the meal a pleasurable experience. There is enough variation in the menu that you can have a variety of choices. We will be back again."

  • "First visit was for brunch (did I say "first"?). Staff was extremely accommodating, food was really good -- simple, straightforward, not greasy, with "honest" flavors which came through. It was extremely comforting to know that what we were consuming was unadulterated food. The freshness makes a big difference. I look forward to returning to try their various menus - lunch and dinner --"

  • "We made reservations not knowing you need to request inside seating. Was told inside was over an hour wait. 30 minutes later, more than half the inside room was empty. Farm & Table indicates to me organic, fresh, local, seasoned food. Chef is way heavy-handed on the salt and lacks inventiveness as does the menu selection itself. Use seasoning. Try interesting combinations and flavors. Chocolate flourless cake was also tasteless. This place has awesome ambience and beautiful patio view. It needs to seriously reassess its hosting skills and chef/menu and I think then it could be a winner. Wiling to give it one more try in a few weeks. Good luck."

  • "Had an amazing time with my husband for our wedding anniversary. Made reservations a few days in advance asking for a nice patio, or inside table, for the occasion. Our table was a few minutes late on a busy Friday night, but definitely worth it. The hostess was very nice, made sure to get us a few drinks while we waited, and even wished us a happy anniversary. We had an amazing table on the patio with a great view of the sunset and farm. Very romantic and definitely made the night. The food was amazing as well!! Perfectlly cooked steaks, pork belly to die for, & blue corn polenta that we're still talking about!! Prices were very reasonable for the caliber of restaurant this is. I highly recommend this place. We can't wait to go back!"

  • "Nice atmosphere, moderately priced. Service and food were both very slow, and the waiter made a lot of mistakes. Food was mediocre. This restaurant has a lot of potential, maybe it was just off when we were there."
    Dined on 7/25/2014
  • "Farm and Table has become our go to restaurant for all of our special occasions just as birthdays anniversaries, etc. We are also planning to begin dining here on a more regular basis just to spoil ourselves. The food is art and the service is always friendly and great. We have never had a better consistent experience at any other restaurant. We are so glad we found it."

  • "the steaks (the most expensive item on the menu) were too tough to cut and returned. The restaurant was kind enough to give us an appetizer while waiting for different entrees. there was a beetle fried in the appetizer. Our meal was heavily discounted, but it should have been free."
    Dined on 7/25/2014
  • "Eaten here many times, first time for this appetizer. We are hooked, so good we will get it every time! Entrees delicious too, wonderful combinations of starch, smoky vegetables, high quality and perfectly prepared protein. Still looking for something we like on the wine list. A few more "local" California wines would be appreciated. But for dessert, they have the best ice cream in Albuquerque! Service is always lovely."

  • "Love the food, service, location, decor. SO incredibly loud it makes my ears hurt. You should warn hearing aid wearers to not eat indoors. None of our party wears them, but it would really affect most wearers. There has to be something you can do besides seat people outside in the heat...There were 6 of us-we all left with headaches..."

  • "Though it was a terrible choice to sit outside on the patio in the middle of summer in Albuquerque, I thought it was a very nice setting with very formal servers which was very much appreciated. It was a very high end feel with a quaint atmosphere. I would be careful about sitting outside in the hot sun and getting the one server who will also complain to you about having to work in the hot weather. It will make you feel guilty enough to tip well, not for service but out of guilt."

  • "We had breakfast outside in a beautiful patio area. Staff was friendly and competent. Had a reservation, but they were a little late in seating us. Overall, it was a great experience."
    Dined on 7/19/2014
  • "Gorgeous setting, beautiful indoors and out, commendable philosophy (fresh, local, sustainable ingredients). These are the hallmarks of Farm & Table. But the food aspires to a level of sophistication that it doesn't quite achieve, and in a way that may not be suited to Albuquerque tastes. We four enjoyed the dinner ambience and most of us chose vegetarian items. Three diners ordered two or three small plates each and, even with dessert afterward, left hungry and disappointed. The fourth ordered a salad and an "entree" called Vegetable Harvest that turned out to be less substantial than other people's salads. Considering the emphasis on fresh produce, I would have expected more veg-friendly options on the menu and was quite disappointed."
