A member of our party arrived very late, and the concert was imminent. Our waiter Alex did a great job getting him served and able to enjoy his dinner in time for the concert. It was a little hectic when we first arrived as there was a short wait for our table. It seemed like everyone arrived at the same time for their reservation. However the staff was apologetic and kind. The food was excellent. The service was very nice. Our waiter, Francisco, was a true delight. The Specials all sounded very impressive. Noise level was a little much, but not much they can do about that. Food was good with a nice selection at reasonable prices for this sort of moderately upscale Italian. If you like calamari, they specialize in it, with fritti as appetizer, a mildly spicy pasta dish, as well as a tender and scrumptious calamari steak! Also try the mussels (served with fries), a Far Niente specialty. They always have daily specials, with freshest fish. Pastas are all excellent. For dessert, we enjoyed the apple tarte, and the souffle (more like a chocolate molten lava cake, takes 15 minutes).
