The Chet's creations are magical. Worthy of more than 5 stars! It is family owned & run & they are involved every step of the way from cooking yo serving. They want the customer to be happy. The highlight is that you can totally put yourself in their hands, we told them our preferences and they kept bringing amazing food out! The chef/owner Mr Fang was gracious and welcoming. He suggested he take care of the food for us and with some input from 2 of my coworkers who were dieting he created a most delicious (and healthy) feast. We were downstairs in a glassed in room, perfect for a business lunch. I would recommend this for anyone. It's a block from Moscone, very good for business lunches with clients or internal team members. The food was wonderful and Kathy did a great job ordering for the table, even though we had meat-eaters, a vegan and a non-seafood person. They really worked to accommodate all of us. We had one of the downstairs, private rooms and loved it. It was quiet enough for my 78 year old dad to hear the conversation. However, it is not child-friendly. There were many lovely, but breakable objects in the room, so we had to constantly keep the kids focused on small toys and activities at the table.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMamazing mealWhat a fantastic, delicious meal! We were given menus but soon noticed that the locals take the advice of the owner and we decided to do the same. He suggested the calamari and dumplings for appetizers and they were unbelievably amazing. I had a chicken and green pepper dish to follow and my husband the bass which he said was the best bass he has ever eaten. My chicken was so yummy. We were way too full for dessert but will definitely return on our next visit to San Fran.
