I don't want to think the stunning view of the golf course is the only thing going for this restaurant because the food does have potential. The menu is fairly typical (burgers, steaks, etc.) but the appetizer that stood out were local greens sauteed with peppers, cheese and prosciutto. A steak special, filet topped with mushrooms and goat cheese was decent but not cooked as ordered, while the filet topped with a pinot noir reduction was cloyingly sweet. The staff was attentive but what needs to happen to make this restaurant go from 2 to 4 stars is a total revamp. Get rid of the cafeteria-quality cutlery and cheap plates, print up a wine list (they have 4 white and 4 reds), and put more local produce (and farm to table dishes) on the menu!
