  • "We went on valentines day, I expected a romantic sit down dinner but was very disappointed with the food and service. The foods were below standard for a five star hotel, and the servers were hurrying you to finish so they could serve the next course. They took my plate and I am not done eating!! Will not go back."

This year, the sushi and waffles were gone. Next year, my son will be full price, combined with the lowered choices over the years, we have decided this year was our last."

They included a special space for children to eat their favorite with a clown tin soldier and a place to decorate their own cookies. A first for me, chocolate and vanilla fountain. Lot's of choices for everyone. Stayed for two hours and never felt hurried to leave. Loved it."

  • "The Fairmont Champagne Christmas Brunch in The Grand Ballroom continues to be fabulous. This is the tenth time I have attended this venue and this year was by far the best. I hope they never end this wonderful dining experience. This year the layout of the dessert table was moved to an adjacent room-great idea. There was a separate buffet section just for kids, with some face painting and balloon creations. Great idea! I missed the sushi and the Ice Sculptures but the dual piano's and the new layout was a great substitute."

But beyond that the turkey and gravy was almost tasteless, the mashed potatoes were cool and cement like and the setting was industrial with long tables set banquet style. A lot less than I expected for the cost. I would not recommend for any holiday buffet."
