  • "I went to Fahrenheit with a group of friends during restaurant week. The first thing that struck me was the noise level, extremely loud. Our server Casey was very good, telling us about dishes on the menu. I had King Salmon with wasabi mashed potatoes. The dish was Asian inspired and delicious. My husband had a coffee rubbed pork tenderloin served over mashed sweet potatoes. The tenderloin was very good, the coffee rub was not overpowering, and the sweet potatoes with maple syrup complimented the meat perfectly. If you are looking for good food with a vibrant atmosphere and great views of Charlotte, Fahrenheit is for you."

  • "Alot of buzz around this new bar/resturant that is an added option to create an uptown experience with a great view and great food. It delivered on that. We were there on a not so great night weather wise but was still able to enjoy the view from the bar and ventureed outside for a better view and a peak at the outdoor space. Somewhat limited seating outdoors but a great bar space to see uptown. Had to be a little picky on our table as they have a bit of a strange table layout. Food was outstanding. The only negtive was the temperature of the food was not as hot as we would prefer but delivered on great taste and flavor combinations. Service - good. Only other negative was the noise level was a little high. Would definitely recommend."

  • "The food was good as advertised, and the service was very good. View outstanding. We were seated in one of the furthest areas of the dining area away from the bar but you could still barely be heard and the place was only 60-70% full at the time! A nice place for parties or large groups that want to make noise, but forget about a quiet romantic dinner or a business dinner where serious confidential business discussions are actually planned - all conversations will be overheard."

  • "You can't beat the view at this restaurant and the food is equal to that. I enjoyed the salmon as well as the burrata & tomato, basil salad. The portions were just right. Outdoor cocktail service was very slow however so the guys went into the bar to get our drinks. I think they were very under staffed that evening. All in all we enjoyed our visit and will be returning."

  • "Farenheit was recommended to a group of us by some friends, so we thought we would give it a try during restaurant week - we are glad we did. We arrived early and enjoyed the view! Would have been even more pleasant with a drink, however the server was too busy and after waiting for over a half hour, we had t resort to going inside and ordering at the bar. Must say everyone enjoyed their food! Good presentation, very tasty! The server was extremely pleasant - food was slow to come out - good thing we were enjoying each others company."

  • "We had a wonderful experience dining at Fahrenheit. The view was stunning and our server was very attentive and knowledgeable of both the menu and the wine list. The salmon on the "Queen's Feast" Charlotte Restaurant Week menu was among the best that we have ever had. We very much enjoyed the specialty cocktails made with NC spirits. We would definitely recommend going to Fahrenheit for a special occasion as well as just a special treat for yourself! We will be returning soon!"

  • "We went to Farenheit during Restaurant Week with another couple. Great atmosphere, you feel like you're in Vegas or New York. Beautiful restaurant and view of the city. We had a table by the window, we had a good view of the restaurant and the skyline. The service was great and the food choices and portions were very generous considering it was Restaurant Week. We will definitely be going back!"

  • "I dined at Fahrenheit on Saturday, July 19. Our reservation was at 7:45. I had the Queen's City Feast menu. Course 1: The Fried Goat Cheese Salad. It was a great size and perfect pairing flavors. Though I wish I had gotten the biscuits and gravy. A friend of mine ordered it and it was AMAZING! Course 2: The salmon with wasabi mashed potatoes and pickled cucumbers. There was nothing left on my plate. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the mashed potatoes had a great wasabi flavor without being over powering. Course 3: Dessert, I don't remember what the dessert choice was honestly, as it was my least favorite course of the meal. It was very underwhelming and with only one choice I didn't really have a choice. I wouldn't have ordered it."

  • "Enjoyed everything about our dinner at Fahrenheit. We had a 7pm reservation and our table was waiting. Server was amazing and thoroughly answered all of our questions regarding menu and made several personal recommendations. We selected a wine and they had sold out-so the Restaurant offered a more expensive bottle at same price! Server suggested we enjoy the rooftop while waiting on our first entry. Mini rooftop garden and two separate fireplaces outside. Beautiful view of Uptown Charlotte and fun friendly crowd! Our food was delicious, I had the Fried goat cheese app/scallop entrée. He had the Tega Farms salad/Salmon/wasabi mashed potatoes were amazing. We stayed for dessert and enjoyed after dinner drinks back out on the terrace!"

  • "I am so excited to have a restaurant of this caliber in Charlotte. It is definitely a hot spot, high energy, fun, fabulous view and stellar atmosphere. The food is divine and the service impeccable. If you have not been yet, you MUST stop at Fahrenheit's and have dinner. It is a great place for adults to have a fabulous evening out on the town."

  • "We went to Fahrenheit for restaurant week with our neighbors. I had heard the food was good but really noisy so I made our reservations for 6:15. We got a perfect table against the window and our view was spectacular. Our waiter was top notch and the food was delicious. However the noise level was really bad even at an early hour. Would definitely go back for a special occasion or to take an out of town guest"

  • "The Patrons seemed to be enjoying themselves. I don't want to give a bad review because I'd like to see it survive. I see where some slight changes would make a big difference and make it more of an 'Upscale Gem'."

  • "Usually during Restaurant Week, places struggle with quality and service however they did a great job on both. Food was prepared well and service matched. Can only expect that they could be even better when not hosting restaurant week."

  • "Came during restaurant week. We were a party of 4. The restaurant was packed. Vibrant bar scene. And the view is spectacular! The food was very very good, except for the crab cake which both couples ordered as an addition to our meals. Possibly they make a better crab cake when it's not restaurant week. It was mostly filler and no crab. But the scallop dish was wonderful and the pork tenderloin meal was also delicious. Appetizers were very good, especially the sweet potato biscuit with sausage gravy. The dessert which was sort of like a small Bundt cake with a scoop of ice cream was just ok. We wished we would have had another choice. We will go back. The view alone makes it worth it."

  • "My dining experience at Fahrenheit was a bitter sweet one. The location is excellent and the views are amazing but the service was very poor. We received more attention from staff who was not our waiter than the actual waiter. He probably came to our table 2 times to see how we were doing. He would walk by but say anything or acknowledge that he was supposed to be "taking care of us." As a past waitress, this was unacceptable. My water was almost completely gone and he still never came to refill, someone else did."

  • "When we went to wait in the lounge,we found it very noisy because of abig party going on. Our server didn't make it back to us to take our drink orders so we left to wait in the lobby. We initially were seated at the worst table in the dining room. There was a wide post beside us, thus leaving us with no views. It was at the end of the room and left one of us just facing the wall. Problem solved.... The server moved us to a much better table. Server was great as well as the good. Loved the surprise of dessert for us in honor of our 46th anniversary."

  • "Great food. Pricy but you get plenty. Fun,but noisy atmosphere. Fine if you are in a group but would not think it to be a romantic scene. Beautiful views of the city and great picture opportunity."

  • "Overall a great experience. Did have issues with the volume level required to communicate. When we arrived thee dining area was mostly empty, but by the time we left the noise level had reached such a volume that we had difficulty communicating without shouting."

  • "This place rocks…! Chef Rocco has done an outstanding job with a limited, but appealing menu. We were entertaining some friends from New Orleans, the food cuisine capital of the USA…. So, needless to say we were looking to impress in more ways than one. The food and the atmosphere were simply put, AMAZING. We tried the scallops, coffee/mustard pork and lamb dishes. The lamb and scallop dishes were both off the hook! For an appetizer, you have got to try the dates, simply amazing!!! After dinner, we were further taken back by the beautiful view on the terrace, complete with two sprawling fire features. SUPER ROMANTIC Overall great experience, a little bit pricey and loud at times, but well worth it"

  • "Enjoyed the food and ambience ! Visiting for my Sorority Conference. Great find and also recommended by a local . Excellent wine selection and specifically enjoyed the seared ahi-tuna . A bit spicy but it was a spicy dish . The lobster Mac and cheese needs some work . Good but a bit dull in flavor . I think we've perfected it in NYC ... The only salad without nuts (allergies) was a kale salad and not good at all . Overall excellent service , no wait on our reservations and close to the convention center . The roof top was a nice touch . I would go again if I'm in town ."

  • "Went for my friend's birthday. Extensive wine list. Their hours are a bit early for a Sunday (closed 9PM). You'd think for a $280 tab for four they could afford better outdoor seating to enjoy the restaurants best feature: the awesome view of the Charlotte skyline. They sat four of us at a small 3' wide table that had broken feet (chairs too). Staff and patrons had to walk on the raised garden bed to get around us. There really wasn't any space. The tabletop also had holes in its design that caused the rounded bottom water glasses to be unstable and spilled several times. We ended up setting our drinks on the ground to avoid spilling and so we had room for our entrees. Food was great. Waited forever for entrees and checks."

  • "I've been to Fahrenheit in Cleveland numerous times. So I couldn't wait to take my friends that live in Charlotte to the new one. It was incredible. The view is breathtaking & the service and food top notch. We loved how the GM came & introduced himself to us. Every visit to Charlotte, will include a trip to Fahrenheit."

  • "The food is amazing! The views are spectacular! The noise was ridiculous. I could barely hear my spouse sitting across the table from me and we were in a corner as far away from the bar as popular. Right now a place to see & be seen, but NOT for great conversation to accompany great food. The owners should consider sound dampening to set the dining room off from the bar."

  • "The restaurant was obviously busy for a Saturday night and before a concert but through the service it was very evident that they wanted us in and out. The server greeted us as we reviewed the menu but started reading the specials from her pad before we realized what she was doing. She made a point to say she needed our entire order and that she would pace it for us. Didn't really make sense when the salads came on top of the appetizer and at one point we had food and no knives. She checked back with us twice during dinner and was literally yelling at us, the place was so uncomfortably loud. I know you can't control the level of sound in your restaurant but I'm not paying $140 to eat at a club. Not the ideal birthday dinner."

  • "We booked a reservation through OpenTable to bring some out-of-town guests, because we had heard of the spectacular views (I got 3 separate confirmation emails). When we arrived, they told me they could not find the reservation. They ended up seating us at a poor table in the "walk in section" next to the kitchen instead of in the section that is for parties with reservations (with the advertised views). When I checked my OpenTable account, I was credited with points for the reservation. The only explanation I can come up with is that the staff decided to give our reservation to another party and then played dumb. As for the food, I agree with others that it was mostly boring and definitely not worth the price. Probably good for drinks."

  • "Overall the restaurant was average. The view is beautiful. But our night started out with the restaurant stating our reservation had been cancelled (which it had not). The noise level is very high and it was very hot - too hot to enjoy the food. The waiter stated that they knew it was too hot (not just that night) and they had not been able to resolve the issue. If we go back, it would be for drinks only."

  • "Made reservations for wedding anniv. Be prepared to pay for parking. The restuarant was very nice. Was somewhat suprised by noise level even though i did read reviws that noise level was on the loud side which it definetly was. The food was pretty good. The service was adequate to nothing special. But food and dessert did take a while to make it to my table. The view was incredible. I would definetly recommend."

  • "My husband and I went to Fahrenheit to celebrate his birthday. This was our first visit. On what must have been one of the most beautiful days of the year this view was the most enjoyable thing about this restaurant. The bread was stale and really un-appetizingly thick and cold. The salmon was advertised as "wild" but it tasted and looked like farm salmon to me. The sauce was very tasty though. My husband had shrimp and grits...average. The waiter brought over a free big cookie with ice cream. It was stale like the bread and not warm enough but we were grateful. Service. It was nice that the waiter didn't bother us too much but at times when we needed him he wasn't there."

  • "I went to Fahrenheit for the view--which is great! The whole skyline of Charlotte is visible, with a good amount of space outside to get your own spot, take pictures or just hang out. Very cool and worthwhile! The food was excellent as well. We ordered two apps, stuffed dates and spring rolls, and they were very, very good. For entrees, we got a filet and the short ribs. The filet was good but fairly standard. The short ribs were an Asian style and were delicious. The only downside is the price. The entrees were both $40. The menu is online, so you know what you're getting into. Also note that the atmosphere is very trendy, so be aware if that's not your scene. Overall, great place and highly recommended."

  • "Our first visit to Fahrenheit after hearing good reviews. Fantastic food with vibrant flavors! The best meal I've had in Charlotte in quire some time. The restaurant can get a bit noisy, but the food more than makes up for any inconvenience that talking over the crowd may cause."
