"I went for lunch to celebrate a friend's birthday. The staff could not have been nicer or more personally accomodating. The food is very, very good (the best eggplant parmigiana I have ever had - it wasn't even on that day's menu, they made it specially for me!). The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. It is a small space with tables close together, although the day I went it wasn't crowded and they seated people a table apart, so it didn't feel cramped. I think in the evening it would be quite romantic."

"Had a 7:30 reservation and got seated as soon as we walked in. Service was excelent although we did have to wait a while to order desert. Not a huge menue but the food was outstanding. Just beer & wine (small wine list) Price can't be beat. Will go back."

"This is a charming and unpretentious neighborhood bistro recommended by our hotel. We split a pizza to start...outstanding taste & thin crust...just how we like it. I had the equally outstanding Lasagna Bolognese and my wife enjoyed the garlicky little ears with veggies. We didn't realize that both dishes came with a free salad, which was basic but very fresh with a great balsamic dressing. Overall, a great experience and quite inexpensive. It's on our permanent list of "must visit" when we are back in New York."

"The food was disappointing - heavy dishes for lunch; and the service was slow even though the place was empty. The waiter was perfunctory. Overall not very friendly and so-so food. I have eaten there before with much better results. If this is a trend, it's not encouraging."

"small quaint mom and pop with excellent homeade dishes...food was very fresh! advertise bring your own wine but the corking fee is $25...quiet little place, not much scenery however the food was d'lish and conveniently located next to our hotel. prices were extremely reasonable....definately would go back...Buon appetito!"
