Executive Chef Owner Michel Thomann brings his blend of international and nouvelle cuisine using only the freshest organics local ingredients. A few items from his menu included: Pan-seared Foie Gras, Blue crab Strudel, signature Gravelax,Warm Napoleon of Ripe Tomato & Goat Cheese. Seafood Bouillabaise,Pan Seared Flounder,Coq au Vin,Iron strip Steak Blue sheese.

Executive Chef Michel is always open to suggestions, or check with his table d'hôte and recommendations for your event or catering. Face is a restaurant with different Faces; perfect, for Romantic Dinner, business meeting or between friends around a cocktail, martini seating at the bar. Best experience ever!

  • "We enjoyed our dinner at Face and would return. We had the Foie Gras and the Beef Carpaccio; both were excellent. We also had the pate and it too was great. For our entree we had the beef Bourguignon and the mussels. The beef Bourguignon was great, the mussels were a disappointment. They were small, overcooked and dried out. Had the mussels been good the food rating would have moved to "excellent". For dessert we share the Profiterole, they were a perfect cap to the meal. Wines were limited but those we had were also quite nice and a compliment to the meal. The fact that I would return is a huge positive. I never return to a restaurant to give it a second chance; this one didn't need a second chance, it passed the test the first time."

  • "This was my second time going to FACE. I loved it just as much as the first. We had the same waitress and she remembered me from my previous visit. I made a pony of trying different items on the menu and everything was just as good if not better than my first visit. The complimentary glass of champagne is a nice touch, as was the chef visiting our table twice during dinner. We will definitely go back, and I can't wait to try more dishes. If you are looking for great French food, fantastic service and a nice atmosphere, them this is the place for you!"

  • "This was our second dining experience at FACE and it was just as delightful as the first! Michel, the owner chef and his beautiful wife, are ever present. They love what they do and it shows! Our waiter Matthew was so engaging and attentive. He was very helpful in finding just the right wine for the meal. His excitement over the menu choices was clear as he described each dish in great detail...a true professional! The gravlox appetizer was fabulous as was the caprese salad. Every dish had an artistic flair! The main courses were grouper over saffron flavoured risotto and a most delicious cod. Nothing could prepare us for the dessert...the very best ever, homemade, macaroons! All in all, we had a most memorable evening!"

A thoroughly enjoyable dinning experience from the ambience through to the delicious deserts. Started with a couple of great tasting martinis and the fig flatbread...WOW! Then to another master piece the Blue Crab Strudel followed by the entrée The Blanquette a veal stew over rice and absolutely awesome. We loved the entire unexpected dinning adventure. We arrived about 15 minutes late and they had already given our table away, but they comped a drink at the bar to each member of our party (4) as we waited at the bar. And it was worth the wait! The prix fixe was reasonably priced and the food was outstanding. My flounder and my wife's boullilabase were the best we could remember. The service was excellent, and the wait staff was genuinely friendly. The chef came out and made us a special sauce to try with the boulliabase, and it was dleicious. We will definitely return!"

  • "Greeted cordially and escorted to our reserved table, we felt this newcomer for us was the right choice. Unfortunately, we were wrong ! It started well enough with a Margarita flat bread appetizer, enough for sharing, and a Caesars Salad.The chef tried to please and prepared my BW's Codfish without the herbs she is allergic to. My daughter ordered a Sirloin Flap Steak, which she didn't realize was not a traditional Sirloin Steak. Her fries were served cold.The steak was a thin piece of meat laden with cheese. My Coq Au Vin had a heavy sauce and not to my liking. Our waiter disappeared a number of times and was forced to stop the nearest server to get our check. Considering the dining choices available in the area, we will move on."

  • "The owner/manager and waitstaff are very attentive, energetic and sweet. The service is fantastic. The atmosphere is quaint and romantic. The food and drinks are excellent. The one thing I will give a heads up,is that the food takes a while as it is prepared fresh so give yourself some time to enjoy a drink and appetizer as the food is worth the wait and the staff takes care of you (a plus to a small establishment). I had the lobster tail and my husband had steak plus the veggie flatbread for appetizer. We had wine and beer also. It was perfect for valentine's day. They even have everyone a little champagne on the house and chocolates for the ladies which added a nice touch to the overall experience."

  • "I reserved a table at this restaurant for Valentines Day. When I got there, they didn't even look up the reservation and all the romantic tables were taken. It was a complete mess. They were able to sit us outside after a short wait. It took then 1 hour and 40 minutes just to get our appetizers and 2 hours to get us our meal. I couldn't believe it. The only thing that salvaged the night was the food. I have to admit it was extremely delicious. Maybe because of the holiday the service wasn't great. I might go back on a normal evening and compare."

  • "We chose Face to dine at for Valentine's Day Dinner while visiting Hollywood Beach. From the moment we walked in for service was amazing. Even though it was a busy Friday night we were made to feel like we were the only one's in the restaurant. The wine list was great, we chose a nice French from the Bordeaux region. The food was among the best I ever tasted. My husband chose the Chicken Fettucine and I a Shellfish Bouilibase. Both were superb. I would chose this restaurant again over the restaurants in South Beach."

  • "Food makes this restaurant worthy of another visit even though our server ruined a great meal. Waiter did not seem to know how to be a waiter. Took our order and after 20 minutes, no appetizer or water. When the appetizer came with gorgonzola which we had said to leave off. He argued with us! Chef owner came out of kitchen and apologized. There is only so much an owner can do. Apologizing for the staff and meaning it by comp. will definitely make me return. The food alone would make me give it another shot when you add in the professionalism of the chef, I want them to succeed and I am sure they will work out the service issues."

The waiter was too busy with a larger party to pay any attention to us.My husband had to go to the bar to get our glasses of wine.We wanted to order each course separately, taking our time as it was a date night. The waiter said that since the kitchen was very small and a large party was inside that the chef wanted us to order everything at once. My husband said fine but explained that we didn't want to be rushed, which we were. As I mentioned above, no attention was given to our table, & a previous post mentioned that the waiter did not say, "no problem" to them - ours did! We laughed actually at how ironic that was."
