  • "I grew up within a quarter mile of Fab's...long before it existed. For years, driving past it, for some reason I thought it was perhaps one step above a coffee house. No - I have no idea why! Well, when my friend took me there during the holidays last year, I fell in love with the place. It's very pretty - warm, woodsy colors, lots of high-backed booths, which provide privacy and cut the noise level to a gentle murmur - and the service was friendly and efficient. It was the food, however, that sold me! An eight-dollar bowl of escarole and white bean soup was huge and a full meal in itself. I only ate half, because it was followed by a favorite dish: saltimbocca. Scrumptious! I just took another pal and the experience was the same."

  • "I really liked eating at Fabs. I thought everyone's food was great, except mine. I ordered the eggplant parmesan and it was very dry. I didn't taste the eggplant, just the breadcrumbs. My husband and daughter's entrees were delicious. We would definitely eat there again."

  • "We treated our friends for dinner at this place and were very embarrased at the quality of food and service. Appetizers we ordered: Artichokes- good, Calamari- fair (dipping sauce wasn't good), Bruchetta- lacked basil. Entree's- Shrimp Risotto- came out undercooked, we sent it back, came back still undercooked..embarassing. Chicken Marsala & Chicken Picatta- both entress the chicken was like rubber, like it was microwaved. Cioppino- my husband wouldn't comment, which means it wasn't good. I am shocked at the poor quality of food and service."

  • "Went to Fabs for New Year's Eve dinner.... food as always was terrific ... GREAT steak special... and service was good.....they do NOT have an alcohol license so couldn't have a mixed drink.... So, we opted for wine and they had little to no choices.... 3 choices for white and about the same for red... and not really a choice.... we had to have the ONE cabernet they had... or nothing! Hope they fix this soon."

Quick and friendly service from the hostess and wait staff, and everything we ordered came out in a very reasonable time. Everything that the 5 of us ordered was delicious and cooked just right. A couple of mishaps started us off - the fryer wasn't working, no big deal and then they only had a choice of two white wines, neither one being my favorite, or even close. Need a bigger white wine list! The service was great and friendly, the food was yummy - the bread amazing! Portions great size, we all took something home. I would definitely go again as would my mom and daughter."

  • "I was so happy to get to FABS and get seated as soon as I arrived I had booked a reservation on Friday at 8:30pm and I was like 15 minutes late the hostess was so polite and said hey at least your here and we're happy to have you right this way that right there made my night, here I am thinking I am going to get death stares but she was super nice. My best friend and I got seated and in this really nice booth then our waitress came over right away offered us bread and our menus she read off all the specials took, time I took one of her suggestions since I do love a good steak and it was the best steak dinner I've had in a very long time. The whole dinning experience was great!"

  • "Food was good. They were catering a party for 100 which they neglected to tell us when we arrived. We arrived at 6:40. No food came until ten to eight. Entrees didn't appear until well after eight. The wait took the enjoyment out of the evening. They did offer us a free dessert and apologized for the tardy service. We'll be sure to ask about special events if we go back again."

The remodel is excellent and it's very inviting with an upscale feeling. Parking can be a bit of a hassle. Overall we had a really good time and will be back."

What made dinner great was our great service and the personality of our waitress....Julie who recently moved here from Spokane Washington. She could have done stand up comedy and was so bright and funny! The service and personalities of the waiters and waitresses makes the food even more enjoyable!   • "This was our third time here. We had a bottle of red wine and we both has lasagna. For desert we had tiramisu. Everything was super fresh and amazing. Our server was Julie and she was terrific. She had a great sense of humor and was very knowledgeable. We can't wait to go back."

  • "This is a hard one. The service was impeccable, but the food is not even close to authentic Italian. The sauce is very definitely from a bottle. The calamari appetizer was over-fried and so tough and chewy. The chicken parmigiana was bland, and well too deep fried. The service was awesome. Very nice decor. The restaurant could be top notch if the food improves and actually resembles GOOD Italian food."

  • "Our last visit before this one was really good. I had the Vodka sauce with Penne noodles with chicken meatballs. It was so good I ordered it again. My husband decided to try the lasagna since he has had lasagna at every other place around.Our food came and mine were missing the chicken meatballs. My husband's lasagna was excellent. We were occupied talking about his food while we waited for someone to come back. My noodles were done perfectly, I was happy eating it without the meatballs if that is what I had to do. My husband flagged down someone, who got our server. She took my bowl for "proof" it was messed up she said, and when she came back I had meatballs but they were burned on one side and my noodles were now soft and mushy."

  • "I've been to Fabs several times before and always have been impressed by the service and food quality. Tonight something was off; we had a reservation but waited ~10min for the table. Another 10 min before the server approached us. Dinner took seemingly forever to get (~30min) and the appetizer came literally 30secs before the entrees? Understaffed that evening? - and this was a Saturday night! Now on to the food: I've always been quite pleased with the food and presentation; tonight the plating was off - my husband ordered one of my favorite dishes and was sorely disappointed; the food/plate looked "tired", plus we brought 2 friends here for the first time; no comments! to sum up: surprisingly disappointing, Fabs. What happened?"
