F. Scott's Restaurant & Jazz BarGreat food and great people!My friends and I went there after watching the Great Gatsby and as a graduation celebration. It is a beautiful place and transports you to a different time. We got there a little early so we grabbed drinks at the bar. Highly recommend the Lemon Drop and the Perfect Peach Martinis. Live piano was playing and the bartender was great. I heard about the "Dine after 9" so it worked perfectly to go after a movie. Our waiter was awesome. I had the Lamb and risotto. It was amazing so delicious and tender. For desert we all shared but the best was the sorbet, strawberry, basil, and peppercorn. Scotts, this is where I take my wife, and kids (when appropriate). We always find a unique seasonal menu with layers of flavor regardless of entree selection. If you want to enjoy the music however, you need to arrive after 7 and sit in one of the two front rooms. Back room is shielded if you want more conversation friendly dining.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMF. Scott's was a nice find...We live about 1.5 hrs from Nashville and were wanting somewhere to go for a nice dinner. We usually like to find small places where only the locals know about... but often end up a a chain when cramped for time. I found F. Scott's in an online search when looking for a restaurant with a band... When we arrived for our preferred late night reservation, we were met by the valet. We were 10 minutes early and watched the jazz band in the bar for just a few moments while our table was prepared. Our table was perfect... far enough from the music to enjoy but not be too loud. The server was polite and very helpful. The food was very good and you could see and taste the expertise of the chef. We try many different styles of restaurants, both high end and low country. We appreciate and seem to have fun no matter what the style. But every time we go back to F. Scott's, we always agree...they are the best in town! Food is always wonderful, inventive...and fresh. The service staff has always made us feel special, are very knowledgeable about food and wine. My wife always jokes that she feels like we are on a weekend trip to another city, whenever we dine here. The live Jazz in the background is always enjoyable. Went back a couple of weeks ago, and thought that everything was as good, if not better then we remembered. Service was a highlight, our waiter(Ian?) was as good as I've ever experienced. He made us feel special. The food was wonderful...especially the rabbit cakes. Sorry we don't live closer. Steak & Eggs Benedict was Excellent (wish there was a bit more steak). Other 2 dining partners enjoyed the Chicken & Waffles. The Chicken was Crispy nad very tasty. Wondered if it was fried in bacon grease, bit it was not greasy at all. The food was excellent, and the server was very attentive and took care of our every need. Also the serving of the courses was well-timed for us. We did not want to be hurried and enjoyed pacing our evening between food and conversation. And we managed to get a table in the lounge just when we needed it. Of course, Beegie was great, as usual.
I especially appreciated being able to plan the evening on-line; your website was very informative and easy to negotiate. I also got helpful communication/reminders as needed. I would suggest in the future that you cook whole lobsters and bring in some very fresh fish from New England. Us Bostonians have no place to go for the above. Your organization is so good, I am sure you would do it very well.

Our server was helpful but unobtrusive, the food was wonderful. Recommend the scallops (perfectly cooked and elegantly presented) and my flounder was just righty. Scott's !We visited Nashville a few weeks ago, and when asking around for a perfect anniversary spot,we kept being told to go to F. Scott's...and are we glad we did! Didnt know what to expect in Nashville, having never been there before, we have alot of incredible restaurants to choose from in Denver, but I can honestly say...none of them have anything on this place. We felt like we were there most valued guests, right from the start. Steve, the Maitre'd was so welcoming, he knew we were celebrating, even talked to us about restaurants he knew in Denver...we felt our table was especially choosen for us.
