It was a very relaxed atmosphere ~ great for dinner with friends, a business meeting or date night. The menu selections are tapas-style items and they assume you are going to share so if you are actually ordering as a meal, as we did, and want something to come out at the same time as something else be sure to tell them. The food was presented well and tasted great. I highly recommend the baked hummus as an appetizer. The noise level was perfect for conversation ... could easily talk with others at the table. The wine list was decent size with both domestic and middle eastern wines available, both by the glass as well as the bottle. A reasonably priced gem in the heart of DuPont Circle. I will definitely go back.

This restaurant should be packed every night. For two people 5 selections or 6 was more than enough,and the portions were perfect and were accompanied by a very good turkish style bread. I will definitely add this to my list of places to return. The food was excellent and the service was attentive and friendly. The wine list was very interesting and appropriatly priced.

Ezme is great. The food is always fresh and well presented; the wait staff could not be more helpful. The ambiance and movement in the restaurant is just right.
I introduced two more friends to Ezme. The restaurant put us in the corner as I requested (so nice) - I wanted my friends to be able to see the restaurant and the great decor.
Ezme never disappoints. It is a truly great dining experience.

Many of the small plates aren't generous for two to share so it ends up being a rather expensive endeavor. Some of the dishes, such as the manti, are bland. I like the idea of modern riffs on authentic Turkish cuisine, but the execution falls a little short. On the other hand, it's a lovely atmosphere, the service is quite good and some of the dishes are excellent.
