UNFORTUNATELY, THE MENU HAS CHANGED CONSIDERABLY. NO LONGER THE THREE PAGES OF TAPAS, BUT RATHER 1-1/2 COLUMNS (PROBABLY A TOTAL OF 20) AND MANY OF THE OLD CHOICES ARE GONE. MORE OF A TRADITIONAL DINNER OFFERING NOW. IF LOOKING FOR A TAPAS RESTAURANT WITH A WIDE VARIETY OF OFFERINGS, THIS IS NO LONGER THE DESTINATION. GREAT WINE SELECTION.

Jerry the manager is incredible. He is very personable. Makes you feel like an appreciated customer and hires staff that fit that personality as well. The food is great. Love the wine special nights. Keeps the price reasonable as well. Can be a bit noisy. food is great but could have more healthy oustanding options.

THE $20 LUNCH SPECIAL IS A BARGAIN! IT'S A CHOICE OF 3 TAPAS AND DESSERT OR A CHOICE OF ONE TAPA, ONE ENTREE, AND DESSERT. I WENT WITH TWO FRIENDS AND EVERYONE WAS VERY HAPPY ABOUT THE CHOICES. ONE FRIEND HAD A VEGETARIAN LUNCH OF 3 TAPAS. SHE LOVED THE SPINACH AND THE MUSHROOMS. BOTH OF US HAD THE POTATO TORTILLA AND IT WAS A CUT ABOVE THE REGULAR ONE ELSEWHERE. WE ALL HAD THE CREME BRULEE FOR DESSERT AND IT WAS DONE BEAUTIFULLY. I WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK FOR DINNER WITH MY SPOUSE.

Evo Bistro is, at its heart, a tapas restaurant, with a few entrees available for the non-tapas eaters. I might return to try the entrees, but I'd skip the tapas. The portions seemed too small and overpriced, even by tapas standards, and my husband didn't care for three of our four selections. The wait staff is really terrific, however, and the wine bar experience a fun novelty (but not a bargain, by any measure). Glad we tried it, but I'm not sure we'll go back.

I've been to this restaurant several times and decided to take some friends there for lunch on this visit. I noticed that the menu had changed substantially since my last visit and several of my favorite dishes were no longer listed. Nevertheless, since I enjoy variety and like trying new things I ordered the oysters and the lobster ravioli. The cornmeal breading on the oysters dominanted the flavor of the oysters. The lobster ravioli was too heavily spiced and overpowered the flavor of the seafood. the food did not have the usual balance of flavors found in Evo Bistro dishes. But since I have enjoyed the food much more during previous visits, I'll return hoping to find the quality closer to what I've come to expect there.
