"Tuesday evening on restaurant week was not busy, but staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. Appetizers were good, entrees mediocre, excellent wine pairings. I'll give it another chance but I was a bit disappointed with the meal & service."

"We had a fine meal during Restaurant week. The menu was appealing and delivered satisfaction. The wine pairings were good value and appropriate to the courses. The tuna carpaccio as a first was excellent and generous in portion size as was the lamb chop "lollipop" starter. The filet mignon on a cheddar bread pudding disk was first rate and perfectly cooked. We will come back happily."

"This rating is "less" than our usual. Restaurant week and a local concert brought in some unexpected walk-ins (restaurant understaffed that night). Service was slower than usual and noise level was louder than usual."

"This was one of the best, if not the best, meals my wife and I have ever had at a restaurant. The filet mignon was so tender you barely needed a knife to cut it and it was coooked to a perfect medium-rare. The chocolate in my dessert was dark and rich. My wife's lemon cake was moist and "out of this world". The wine pairings were also excellent. The restaurant was quiet so you can easily carry on a conversation with you partner. The services was attentive but not obtrusive. Overall an unforgettable experience."

"The atmosphere was inviting, but upholstered chairs by the garden were too low for the table - felt like I needed a booster seat! So, we moved to regular chairs. There's times when simple is better - spare the herbs in the butter, and just serve it straight up! Salads were good, but an offering of fresh ground pepper would have been nice. We had the lamb shank which was good with the pureed parsnips, but pairing with pickled vegetables seemed a bit off. Chocolate hazelnut terrine wasn't good - more like a giant truffle! Not a place for fine dining, but a drop in, warm by the fire, have a dring and appetizer while in the Old Port - perfect!"

"Server had no interest in being there. Brought out wrong beverages, no apologies. Brought out chocolate ganache dessert....FROZEN SOLID...again, no apologies. Won't be back"
