Diner Reviews
  • "Although a great looking restaurant the portions were so small and the prices so high and the flavor so bland that we will never return. We went for brunch. The bubble and Squeek corned beef and eggs had about 3 small bites of corned beef and one egg on top. My husband was so hungry that we had to order pancakes. The baked eggs were 2 tiny eggs in a mini skillet with 1 bite if bacon and 1 bite of ham. Totally overlooked and ridiculously small portions."

  • "Food was less than impressive, no taste and really tiny portions. Drinks were good, but overpriced like the rest of the food. Service could have been better. Cool patio but won't be back. Surprisingly the valet parking was the only part of the evening that was reasonable. About an hour after leaving we were hungry again. Really not impressed."

  • "Chef thinks he's a rockstar so u can't modify ANYTHING to the point that it's obnoxious. Service is notoriously horrible and continues to be.....I go there on occasion for the avocado toast/spelt cakes/ patio. It's an overrated pretty patio with mediocre food and a chef with a massive ego."

  • "Located on the sunset strip, it's a far cry from the hustle and bustle of the Hollywood scene. Low key, great ambiance with amazing servers. Drinks are top notch. Food is a little pricey for the portion but still worth a taste. Stick to this place for drinks and apps."

  • "Eveleigh never ceases to impress. Best restaurant in West Hollywood. Fantastic service. Amazing food. Great drinks. If you're looking for a charming place for a great date night - this is it."

  • "My 30 year old cousin and his fiancee were passing through LA to get married up in Napa. They consider themselves foodies and we thought that Eveleigh would be a good choice for not only the food, but for the atmosphere. Well, we were correct on one part, the atmosphere. Love the setting and energy and our server was spot-on. No one said anything about the food until my last bite when they said that my pasta looked amazing which is when i said it was way too salty. Everyone jumped on board and said the same thing! The lamb meatballs, the jidori chicken and the burger were all over salted. Such a disappointment as we wanted it to be about them, not the over seasoned food. As a contrast, the fennel and pea salad was amazingly bland."

  • "Cute little place on the strip in WeHo. I will definitely be coming back to try the patio when it warms up. Food was good, especially the live Uni special, but this place is more about the atmosphere. The food is good enough that it won't be a reason not to come here, and it has a lot of small sharing plates, which is great if you want to eat light and go out after."

  • "Eveleigh was such a pretty spot, the view and ambiance was perfect for a cozy dinner. The food was great and our server was very helpful in explaining each dish."

  • "Nestled and tucked away behind a hedge in the heart of West Hollywood this is a gourmet pub. Marketed as Tapas and served in small and succulent portions this great place is a bar, fine food restaurant, romance parlour de gastronomique, business restaurant and casual place to eat. With three distinct dining areas, intimate tables, booths and benches there is somewhere for everyone."

  • "I'd always heard great things about Eveleigh, but I wasn't able to experience the restaurant myself until lately. I requested a table on the patio with my reservation and as soon as I arrived, my date and I were quickly seated. The wine and alcohol list is impressive without being overwhelming and similarly the drinks were curiously strong yet well mixed. For dinner we split the asparagus burrata, roasted brussels sprouts with soft egg, lamb meatballs and halibut. All the dishes were delicious but I have to say that my favorites were the brussels sprouts and lamb meatballs. This spot also has great, artsy decor while maintaining a relaxed environment. Excellent food, great service and I'll definitely be back again."

  • "Amazing atmosphere, energetic staff, delicious food and gorgeous scenery. We visited from Australia and was recommended the Eveleigh as a must see from friends. The place was amazing!! Everything from the open roof restaurant area to the delicious food and great staff. The night was an enjoyable eexperience from start to finish."

  • "Everything was great, except for at the end, as we were getting ready to leave, a guy (I am assuming the host) kepy walking by us, and then he finally came up to our table and asked if we were ready to leave as he had some parties waiting over an hour. The experience was great until then, I was a bit put off by being rushed out, after we spent all the money and a considerable tip. I understand if there is a wait, but that is not my fault as a customer."

  • "Not a place for a romantic evening. But the food is good and service was excellent. The wine list is short but has a good selection. It's more a mixed drink kind of place. Very noisy where we were seated next to the bar . . . Hard to carry on a conversation."

  • "The food is absolutely amazing. For someone who is not used to American-sized portions the portion sizes were perfect, the menu well-thought out and absolutely beautiful. Some of the best food I've ever had."

  • "Lovely atmosphere. Great staff. Very attentive. Wines were pretty good. I enjoyed the Shiraz blend,The Tempernillo was fine, however the cab blend was too light and fruity. The rose not good, Chardonnay was pleasant. Enjoyed old fashioned cocktail. Food was good for the most part, but uneven at times. Loved the pickle plate to start. Asparagus/burrata appetizer, veg should have been warmed. Enjoyed the lamb meatballs/bread salsa. The brussell spouts & egg: over-cooked Pasta good needed more sauce. Squid, very tasty, well-seasoned cooked well. Dessert: chocolate merigune ok, ice cream needed more booze. The apple crisp with cinnamon ice cream was good, but forgettable. It was a rainy night, crowded. Back bar was not open. Will try again."

  • "We had incredible food but could not converse with each other or hear the waiter when he described items on the menu. The food was beautifully presented making it seem like a romantic place but the noise was just too much. Also there were people milling back and forth past our table all night - very distracting."

  • "Our visit was last friday night at 5 pm. Sunset was just about to happen. The back patio was very comfortable. I loved everything that came to our table. I had the most perfect salad and brussels sprouts. The mains that we enjoyed were the Jidori chicken, the lamb ragu, the burger, and I had the sea bass. We shared the pear dessert. I loved it. I don't usually enjoy restaurant desserts because they are badly prepared and usually too sweet for my taste but this one surprised me. The waitstaff was attentive but not intrusive, I loved that most of all. We left about 7:30 and by then the restaurant was filled but not packed. The noise level was lively but not LOUD"

  • "From a warm greeting, to a warmer setting our experience was fabulous. Waitstaff at the restaurant gave the feeling that they actually chose to be there. Great drinks; are you serious ? They make they'd own tonic. Excellent touch with vegetable side dishes, and the rabbit, pork, and steak were equal parts delicious and fun."

  • "I had the privilege to go twice in the last week when I was in LA. Restaurant décor offers nice blend of modern & wood that makes it welcoming. Cocktails are amazing! Menu is filled with flaveurs and fresh ingredients. Their grilled calçots (type of scallion) with burrata is to die for! Nice discovery & nice evening! I would certainly recommend!"

  • "With a homey, healthy feel, this was a fantastic meal. Ingredients top knotch, along with sauces and glazes that put it over the top (hamachi and squid esp). Service very friendly although not the highly refined stuff you may get elsewhere. It was relaxing if a bit noisy. Recommended for a casual dinner or dinner with friends. Not good for a business dinner or for intense conversation."

  • "saturday morning brunch? you call this brunch? regular menu with a items to select from - what is "brunchy about" it. because there are funny salad combinations on it? one of these salads, one benedict sandwich, two juices (very good freshly squeezed, though), two cappucchinos = 65dollars plus tip? never again."

  • "It's unacceptable for a restaurant to tell you they have no bread, especially when you have to pay for it anyway. We got a silly excuse from or waitperson. Not the way to run a business. The food was edible, not great, and the menu choices were limited. This place changes it's menu constantly, but I guess we picked the wrong day all round. Basically, another dining trendy place not worth it."

  • "Everything we ordered was outstanding. The papas, pappardelle (holy crap amazing), burger, steak, and pork cheeks... It was all so incredibly delicious. My friends shared the cookie sandwich, and there was not a smudge left on the plate. To top it off we sat nearly next to Emma Thompson and Newman from Seinfeld!"

  • "If you are traveling to WeHo, do NOT miss this new additional to the foodie circle. The building itself is a work of art....ambiance is very unique....drinks are fabulous....you must have the Evelyn Lemonade....mixed with the spiced sangria and its pure nirvanna. Then onto the food. The unique parings of ingredients lead to a most pleasant eating experience. The black quinoa salad is perfect to start off the meal and easy to share....but don't miss the horsradish baked brussel sprouts! the service is perfectly attentive. Great crowd. lots of fun parties around. cannot wait to return."

  • "food left us wanting. drinks were good if you need a bar in the area, but you will find people pressed against you as there's not much room between the tables and the bar. the menu read well, but the flavors were unrealized and on a few dishes, completely out of balance. crab appetizer was covered in oil and salt. fresh brioche tasted off."

  • "OMG..... Some of the best food I have ever had! The service, for the most part, was wonderful. Our group shared several dishes to enhance our dining experience and we were not disappointed! Def a place to put on your dining bucket list when your in LA"

  • "I just loved this place. We can here on a whim - passed by it several times and decided to give it a try. The food was delicious, very fresh! The wait staff was very helpful and friendly helping us decide what to try for our first time. This place is wonderful for us locals, we can walk in casually dressed but still have a very nice, health, upscale meal. Loved it!"

  • "The restaurant is very cute and has a great feel about it. My mother and a friend were visiting from out of town. They were so impressed by the ambiance but the my were quickly Disillusioned when the bar tender was very rude and seemed annoyed by us wanting a drink as we waited for a table. At this point it was early (since our guests had arrived from the east coast that day) and the bar was not busy at this time. Our server was nice and the food Was good. The portions are a bit small for how pricey they are but that is to be expected from more upscale of a restaurant. Overall a fine experience and we enjoyed ourselves."

  • "Wonderful atmosphere! Food was really good, but pricey. $18 for a burger. Adult beverage was $12, in a short glass, and was mostly ice. Two sips and it was gone. Loved everything about the restaurant except the prices."

  • "Service and ambience were great. I was very impressed with the quality of the cocktails and the food. Would ultimately make for a great dining experience if it weren't for the obnoxious crowd. Very scene-y and self-involved. If this place were to drop in hip-factor it would be a great place to eat and have a drink. But too much unavoidable talk about pilots, headshots and name-dropping for my taste."

  • "The restaurant feels very casual and laid back, which is refreshing. The house-made tonic is wonderful. The oysters were okay - not the best I've had. The fries with truffled aioli was delicious, as was the steak (grilled to a perfect medium-rare). The host staff and waiters are incredibly friendly and professional. Certainly a place I'll be back to."

  • "The menu is always changing since the food is local and seasonal. The food is unique compared to what the majority offer in the area and I've never had a meal that wasn't delicious. The drink menu is also in itself worth going for."
