  • "I would gladly recommend Eveleigh. The service was great and the food was really good! The burger was pretty damn good. The short rib hash was also really yummy, though a bit short on the short rib! Definitely more potatoes than anything. Never the less, it was a good meal."

  • "From the quaint outdoor secret gardens, to the booths and intimate bar, this was the perfect way to spend a summer evening in LA. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. And extremely knowledgable about the menu that featured some unique herbs and vegetables. Fantastic selection of vibrant salads as well as meats and fish that offered diners something different. The ceviche was fresh and aromatic, and the quail was rich and tender. And nothing more needs to be said than french fires with truffle aioli. The only thing that would have made the night, would have been to actually sit outside. Will definitely visit again when I am in LA."

  • "The back room is beautiful with Christmas lights strung up and a canvas roof that opens to the night sky. The decor is homey and has a classic American feel. The food is best thought of as tapas, where you can order 4 or 5 dishes and split them among a couple people. The food is delicious! Love this place!"

  • "The charcuterie and pickles were made in house and they even offer a raw cheese option! The blue crab was incredibly fresh. We started at the back bar, which was less busy and more inviting. Bartenders were John and Zack (see, more inviting). I had an Ancho Reyes/ mescal cocktail called 'Running with the Devil' (I think). Really complex and flavorful. Very well made. Meg was our server. She was incredibly attentive and on top of her game. The negatives: the sangria was underdeveloped. I wouldn't order it again. We also ordered the squid and the fries. Squid was delicious and the fries were perfectly cooked. Problem is aioli is served with both, and not on the side. There was just too much of it. We'll definitely be back."

  • "Enjoyed an early dinner this Saturday out on the patio. The menu is not exhaustive but does have something for everyone. The small plates/share option is the way to go for the sides and we each chose one of the "entree" items as well. This approach seemed to work out fine. It's all really focused on comfort food so do splurge and count your calories the next day. Heads-up, the late dinner/bar scene is an entirely different experience. This can become quite the "scene" as the evening progresses."

  • "Beautiful restaurant and the food was good, but we went for brunch and our sausages were undercooked. Had to wait for them and when they came still undercooked and we had been finished with our food. Very strict on substitutions and no kids menu, so my kids were unhappy. Went for Father's Day Brunch. Hostess was confused with us sitting at the table and wanted to make sure we were able to keep our table, even though we had reservations. Just seemed very disjointed for a restaurant that has been open since 2010."

  • "I have nothing bad to say about this spot. The location is awesome, ambiance is beautiful. It's both romantic and fun. Hip but not obnoxious. Best of all worlds. We had an excellent server and bartender. Food was delicious. Avocado toast for brunch with a delicious coffee. Will be back soon!"

  • "The service during our special birthday dinner was very disappointing. The waiter was not present most of the time, and there were long gaps between courses. The food was not up to par - the Brussels sprouts were bland, and the burgers were raw. The baby artichoke hearts were probably the best thing we had. And the fries were good - but that's not why you select a restaurant. The indoor area is VERY loud, with people shouting to be heard. We will not be back."

I'd go back tomorrow and try something else - a bit pricey for small'ish portions. Good for a special occasion. I hear it's quite lively in the evening."

  • "i live about a hour from this place, the restaurant is great, plenty of staff. since I'm half spanish i decided to order a pitcher of sangria, the menu said that it had grapes, pears and apples and malbec for the wine. the only thing that this sangria had was 2 grapes cut in half, it had all oranges cut in slices like the ones they use in cocktails. this sangria was the worst thing in the world, however, i had the oysters, calamari and a berry salad which were real good, i also had the steak which was just ok, "

  • "Beautiful restaurant, wonderfully friendly servers and bartenders, great cocktails. We had a few dishes that were outstanding (Crab, Squid) and a few that left a bit to be desired (Quail was mostly bones, Pickles didn't taste pickled). The brussel sprouts were really bland. We told the waitress, who was shocked, she said they were usually great. She was nice enough to remove them from the bill, since we didn't even eat them. Desserts were simple but really well-made. Donuts were divine, as was the butterscotch pudding. Overall, a great dining experience and would definitely go back, but don't expect to be blown away by the food."

  • "The bacon on the brussell sprouts were SO SALTY as to make even a crumble on the sprout inedible. Meatballs were delicious, as was the octopus. And then the opposite happened on the tagliatelle--not salted enough. That aside, the atmosphere is great, and our waitress was lovely and the staff in general is very kind and friendly which is a great feeling."

  • " planned a surprise birthday party here for my boyfriend. I booked in advance to make sure we got patio seating, and I called twice leading up to the event to make sure we could be accommodated and to make sure they were aware it was a surprise. They were so nice and reassuring on the phone I felt like everything was going to work out according to plan. I get there with my boyfriend and give my name to the hostess, who lets us know that the rest of my party has already checked in (thanks for ruining the surprise!). We were seated inside rather than the patio. Service was incredibly slow. Drinks were tasty but a bit pricey considering they were very weak. Food and ambiance were lovely, but didn't make up for the service."

  • "Food was not that great. Waiter forgot our drinks, and we didn't get them until we were half way thru dinner. At the end of our dinner, the manager came over and said "I don't mean to be rude, but we really need your table". We weren't even done with our drinks. And I should note, we weren't there that long, and there were other tables that were unoccupied since it was after 10pm. I won't come back, and will advise my friends to go somewhere else. "

  • "Although a great looking restaurant the portions were so small and the prices so high and the flavor so bland that we will never return. We went for brunch. The bubble and Squeek corned beef and eggs had about 3 small bites of corned beef and one egg on top. My husband was so hungry that we had to order pancakes. The baked eggs were 2 tiny eggs in a mini skillet with 1 bite if bacon and 1 bite of ham. Totally overlooked and ridiculously small portions."

  • "Food was less than impressive, no taste and really tiny portions. Drinks were good, but overpriced like the rest of the food. Service could have been better. Cool patio but won't be back. Surprisingly the valet parking was the only part of the evening that was reasonable. About an hour after leaving we were hungry again. Really not impressed."

  • "My 30 year old cousin and his fiancee were passing through LA to get married up in Napa. They consider themselves foodies and we thought that Eveleigh would be a good choice for not only the food, but for the atmosphere. Well, we were correct on one part, the atmosphere. Love the setting and energy and our server was spot-on. No one said anything about the food until my last bite when they said that my pasta looked amazing which is when i said it was way too salty. Everyone jumped on board and said the same thing! The lamb meatballs, the jidori chicken and the burger were all over salted. Such a disappointment as we wanted it to be about them, not the over seasoned food. As a contrast, the fennel and pea salad was amazingly bland."

  • "Cute little place on the strip in WeHo. I will definitely be coming back to try the patio when it warms up. Food was good, especially the live Uni special, but this place is more about the atmosphere. The food is good enough that it won't be a reason not to come here, and it has a lot of small sharing plates, which is great if you want to eat light and go out after."

Marketed as Tapas and served in small and succulent portions this great place is a bar, fine food restaurant, romance parlour de gastronomique, business restaurant and casual place to eat.   • "I'd always heard great things about Eveleigh, but I wasn't able to experience the restaurant myself until lately. I requested a table on the patio with my reservation and as soon as I arrived, my date and I were quickly seated. The wine and alcohol list is impressive without being overwhelming and similarly the drinks were curiously strong yet well mixed. For dinner we split the asparagus burrata, roasted brussels sprouts with soft egg, lamb meatballs and halibut. All the dishes were delicious but I have to say that my favorites were the brussels sprouts and lamb meatballs. This spot also has great, artsy decor while maintaining a relaxed environment. Excellent food, great service and I'll definitely be back again."
