Diner Reviews
  • "Food was exceptional. Service, ambience and location all very good. No prices given for specials. Having done 3 special , $35 each seemed a bit steep given prices for similar items on menu"

  • "I've been here twice when relatives from out of town arrived. Food was always great. The swordfish special was so fresh. They gave us complimentary desserts, totally unexpected. A bit pricey, especially the wine but happy with the food. Waiters were friendly and attentive. Serving sizes are generous."

  • "The food was wonderful and reasonably priced. But the downstairs room was confining and incredibly noisy.. to the point where we could not hear each other or our waiter at all!! It seemed the staff put all parties over 4 people down there. We are a family of 5 and can handle a high energy, noisy atmosphere, but the other parties of 8 or 10 were so loud and obnoxious.. literally screaming and yelling the whole time. The waiters were clearly annoyed as well and management should really have been alerted and requested they be more respectful. Felt very trapped down there in such a small space. It is a shame we couldn't enjoy the wonderful meal :("

  • "We had an early dinner at Euno before a hockey game. The service was excellent; the food was delicious. The wilted spinach antipasto was fantastic. We will definitely be back."

  • "We are frequent North End diners and tried Euno for the first time with a Groupon, and were thrilled that we did. It was a quiet March weeknight and we received personal, attentive service from our knowledgeable and friendly waiter. The food was excellent from appetizers through desert, and we will definitely return to try more dishes. We especially liked the calamari (light and tender), first course pasta taste with gnocchi and rigatoni, and the zuppa di pesce. A well paced meal, and the ambience of the ground floor dining room was very nice. A memorable experience, and we look forward to our next visit."

  • "Having often gone to one restaurant in the North End, I opted to take my wife's advice to occasionally try a new restaurant for her birthday. While the restaurant had only about a dozen tables, the service was excellent, with the right balance of giving some distance, but being right there when you needed something. Tried this restaurant for its high ranking as a "romantic restaurant," and they didn't disappoint. The food and wine was excellent, and a great night overall. The only negative was in their wanting to give us a nice table, the nice window seat ended being a bit nippy as the cold from outside snuck through the window. But that was about the only negative."

  • "We had early reservations (5:30 pm) before a concert at TD Garden. We were taken to the lower level rather than being seated in the relatively open first level. The lower level is also the home of the bathroom, and it smelled like it. The waiter was attentive if affected, and did a nice job advising us of the specials and making recommendations on house favorites. The wine list was a little sparse. They have no cocktails or spirits. We ordered a bottle of Brunello, which was fine. The second bottle was corked. The appetizers (Calamari, Caprese) were average. All four entrees were luke-warm. How four plates could go cold in a somewhat quiet restaurant before the dinner rush is beyond me."

  • "The food was delicious--artichoke appetizer with pasta tasting was incredible. Service was slow and the waiter seemed a bit confused (bringing the neighboring table's order to our table) despite the fact that there were only a few full tables. Would definitely recommend for the food and ambience but probably not on a busy night when the wait staff might be a little harried."

  • "I have nothing bad to say!!! The waiter was great. The food was crazy good. We ordered the caprese for an appetizer and the tomatoes was the best I have ever had. The sauce (gravy) was extremely tasty! Will certainly be back!"

  • "This was our second time at this restaurant in just over a month. The experience was 180 degrees from our first time when we thought this would be our go to restaurant if near the North End. The maitre d' was inattentive and the waiter was careless, and dare we say, incompetent? Since we brought guests we were embarrassed. Thank goodness the food was mostly very good. Just goes to show that it not always about the food."

  • "people ,be careful about receiving your open table points because this restaurant will cancel your reservation , but allow you to dine. This is a ploy I believe to deny your receiving your points. wonderful artichoke appetizer but seafood special had almost spoiled mussels and clams. they also don't inform you ahead of time what the specials cost. I don't like being tricked. There are many other restaurants to go to. Why bother with this one."

  • "I picked Euno to celebrate my birthday with my husband, five year old son and college roommate. After searching options in the North End I was drawn in by the stuffed artichoke appetizer on the menu (and was not disappointed). From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly and well taken care of. We ordered an antipasti plate which was delicious and they were careful to put 3 of everything on so the 3 adults all got a taste. My husband had the chilean sea bass and got a "pasta tasting" plate before which was an eggplant rigatoni. It was so fresh and bursting with flavor and the eggplant was well seasoned and tender. I had the linguini with clams and my friend had the paparadele bolognese. Everything was very good including dessert."

  • "Very good food in a cozy, great presentation and an authentic feeling restaurant. The service was exceptional - attentive w/o being over bearing. We look forward to going back and sampling more of the menu."

  • "Tried Euno because we were up for Italian / North End at that particular time, and it seemed like it had decent reviews among the dime a dozen places in the North End. Overall we'd say it was just a so-so experience, however. I had the Pappardelle Panna e Prosciutto pasta, and was underwhelmed as it was very salty (not surprising, though) and really more or less something I could make at home. Also, the seating is tight (which is common in the North End and Boston in general) but something we do not care for -- and we also were a bit miffed when we saw more spacious seating downstairs that we were never offered. We'd probably go back some other time to give a second shot."

  • "Great ambiance, but the restaurant was freezing. They did a horrific job keeping the restaurant warm. I couldn't wait to leave because both my date and I were so cold. Appetizers were pretty good but the main courses were saturated with garlic and almost inedible. The waiter took one of the meals off the tab, so service was good in that respect. Food just didn't wow us and I would try another restaurant in the North End next time."

  • "We went to Euno for my birthday dinner. We had a reservation , but we still had to wait for about 30 min to be seated. The ambiance was very good, but that was the best part of our experience. The waiters were taking way too long to take our appetizer order and any other request we had. The food was quite plain, nothing stood out. The calamari were the worst i have ever had. At leats price wise, it wasn't very expensive for what it had to offer."

  • "Waiter was very good, patient, brought complimentary calamari, everything great. He mentioned they were having a pasta tasting, he would bring later. Twenty minutes went by and then main course came out. No tasting, which was too bad, because he had planted that seed, and then it never came, which was disappointing. The main course portions were delicious and enormous, the staff overall was great, but it was a busy night and it felt like they forgot about us between salad and the main course. That all said, I would go back and try it again, lovely restaurant."

  • "The sausage special, veal scaloppini and the pasta Bolognese was delicious. And for dessert we had the tiramisu which was outstanding."

  • "Euno Ristorante is my new favolrite North End Resturant. It never fails to please. The waiters are polite and attentive, the food is absolutely delicious and beautifully plated, and the restaurant is small and quaint with a warm and cozy ambiance. I have been here to dine several times and it is consistently excellent. A gem in the North End, for sure."

  • "I went w/3 girlfriends before a concert. We were taken care of from the start. Every waiter for everything. We had whatever we needed. Our food was cooked fresh and very well done. Love the restaurant itself is pretty with the exposed brick. Have also been to a party in the lower level which is also very nice and had great service and food then too. We will be back. Did not care for their special martini of the night. It was grape and was just not my thing. The wine was excellent."

  • "My wife and I have dined here quite a bit over the past few years. Every meal has been outstanding. The fireplace is being replaced so we couldn't get our favorite table, but still a great place to eat and enjoy the North End."

  • "We have been here a few times and this visit was for our eleven year old daughters birthday. We love excellent service and the last three times were spot on. Our waiter this time around was less than knowledgeable about the food. He tried to be Pleasent, but when you mislead a family so that you can get an extra plate and up your tip it kills the entire experience. Great place to eat and great food. Just be careful who you get as a waiter. All in all we will most likely be back again as it is truly a spot to dine at in Boston"

  • "We decided at the last minute to go out to dinner and ended up with an evening that was such a treat, Artichoke appetizer, superb. I had lobster ravioli, a dish that usually is simply the ravioli on the plate, certainly tasty, but this was over the top. Ravioli were excellent, loaded with lobster, served with 4 large perfectly grilled shrimp, all topped with grilled asparagus. My husband greatly enjoyed the 1/2 of the dish I did not eat the next day. Our server caught on that I recently celebrated my birthday and brought out dessert with a candle, a lovely touch."

  • "This place was very special from the moment we walked in. I felt like I was in Tuscany. The food was spectacular. Every meal was presented beautifully and tasted even better. And i thought for the North End, the prices were quite reasonable. It wasn't crowded the night we went. it was a wednesday. Our service was was wonderful."

  • "This friendly restaurant in the North End was the perfect spot to catch up with old friends. Our waiter was excellent and his descriptions and recommendations were right on target. We particularly liked the artichoke appetizer and the pastas which we split. The tiramisu was delicious as well. All in all a lovely evening."

  • "Just down from the hustle and bustle of Hanover Street, this classy Italian restaurant offers great food in an intimate setting. We loved the food and the waiter was knowledgeable and patient. It is so nice to not be rushed through a great meal. Recommended."

  • "We had another great evening at Euno this past Friday night during a bitter cold evening. Our son's college girlfriend was in from out of town and we wanted to show her the North End. Crazy idea given that it was 5 degrees outside, there was quite a wind and we parked at 75 State Street! But we had a wonderful evening. We are always warmly welcomed and the service is timely and professional. The assistant waiter was always there to refill water glasses and to give us new utensils. And the waiter is just great. They comped us an antipasta platter which started the night off beautifully. They even offered my husband a wine he was interested in by the glass even though it wasn't offered by the glass on the menu. Food was fresh and delicious."

  • "I have extensive experience in fine dining and this fell short of the night I anticipated. The food was good, however, the wine served was not the vintage as it appeared on the menu. The room had potential, but the overall experience was not what it should have been. It it said that its a romantic room. The decor maybe, but not the dining experience. Eu"NO". Wouldn't return. PS - My date put in the online reservation, that it was my Birthday, but no acknowledgement."

  • "The food was very good and the portions were very big. The one downside was the staff wasn't very organized. I was asked three times if I wanted a glass of wine by three different people while I waited for my date. Also, after we ordered a bottle of wine a different waiter came over and asked if we wanted a bottle."

  • "I would have sworn I did this yesterday! However, good food. We sat downstairs and if having an old brick ceiling makes you nervous - probably don't want to be there! However, I liked it and my friend found it quite cozy. Wish the fireplace was usable? That would be a very nice touch. Did have an issue which was non-food/non-environmental, added in private note to restaurant."

  • "This is my 4th trip to Euno's and still doesn't disappoint - this is the first time we ate downstairs, had a really great feel to it, but did get a little noisy. Nice reasonably-priced Italian wine list, food was great, I loved the spinach appetizer with garlic, white beans and prosciutto."
