Etta's SeafoodNever disappointedMy wife and I had another great meal (breakfast this time) at Etta's. I have never been disappointed with the warm welcome, excellent service and incredible food. Thank you, again and again and........5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMEtta's = AmazeballsWe dine at Etta's often and always have a wonderful experience!
The wait staff is wonderful, friendly, obliging and knowledgeable!
I am allergic to gluten and dairy and the chef went above and beyond to accomadate my needs!
I also have a 20 month old daughter and again the staff is amazing with her even if she decides to have a "terrible 2s" tantrum!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMAniversary TreatWe love seafood and what a treat at Etta's; a delicious and new treatment for salmon, the special rub gave a wonderful smoky flavor.
Since a trip to Hawaii some years ago I've had a taste for grilled tuna and Etta's grilled albacore is sublime!
wait friendly staff was around and the right time but not at all intrusive.
We're already thinking about our next visit.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent service for a birthdayMy fiancee and I went for her belated birthday celebration. With a table for two at the big street-front window, we had a great view of the Puget Sound. The halibut with fried rice was delicious, as were the crab cakes with asparagus and fries. The cocktails were also refreshing and well prepared. Overall it was a great experience.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMWe will be backService was great - food was superior - relaxed and not hurried at all.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGood for out of towners and localsI had a relative and his family visiting from Houston and they wanted seafood, a view and to be able to get there on light rail. Ettas, one of my favorites, fit the bill. My uncle had halibut, his relatives had crab salad and crab cakes and we have lovely wine. Reservations were right on time. I would say that crab salad could be slightly larger....
All in all lovely.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMEtta's 1st TimerI absolutely LOVED Etta's! The food was great, staff was very nice and knowledgeable of menu items. The salad and mussels were great too. This restaurant in the Pike Place market is one oh my favorites.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent restaurant and IExcellent restaurant and I can't wait for my next visit.4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMVery nice meal, made evenVery nice meal, made even better by the friendly and attentive staff. We enjoyed being able to watch the activity surrounding the end of day at Pike Place Market, with the ferris wheel spinning in the distance and the sun beginning to set.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and serviceEtta's is becoming my favorite Seattle breakfast place. First time I dined here I had the crab cake Benedict, very yummy and just the right taste of decadence. This time I had the Pikes' Place scramble, with asparagus and herbs. YUMMY! a little lighter than the Benedict, however I asked for the habanero ketchup, which is served with the corned beef hash, but is amazing on the home fries. They brought it with not even a sideways glance, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Hubby enjoyed the shrimp and grits, and I was soooo jealous as it was very tasty! (and I ususally hate grits)
Close to the Market, so check it out for breakfast before you get your fresh fish!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMI went for a late lunch soI went for a late lunch so it wasn't crowded at all or loud. I wasn't planning on hitting up Etta's for Seattle Restaurant Week but did out of the blue because I had some extra time before my next appointment. I'm SO glad I did! The food was delicious and their "Rub with Love" is amazing! Definitely will have to come back with my parents when they are in town!4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMIt was Seattle RestaurantIt was Seattle Restaurant week and they always have a wonderful menu. Their salmon is wonderful! They served less food this time in regards to dessert. They used to serve full portions but now have 'samples'. While I certainly had enough food to eat, the same creme pie was a little too small for me!4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMI love Etta's. I've been goingI love Etta's. I've been going for years and it never fails to please. The fish is great but the kielbasa was fantastic. This time I took my brother from the AZ desert, he had the love rub Salmon and bought the rub.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMRead the fine print!Restaurant was very good. Problem was with the "fine print" of the Seattle Restaurant Week (online & brochure). We thought we had read all of the exclusions, etc. but after arriving on a Sunday afternoon, were told that Sunday lunch was not included in the promo. Manager showed us the VERY fine print on the brochure....Sheesh. She said that she tells them every year to make it more easily understandable. She did comp us a piece of pie, which was nice. I think the Seattle Restaurant Week will make some enemies if they don't extend this to all meals or make it very obvious.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic service with betterFantastic service with better food, can't be beat.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went with a kids and aWe went with a kids and a large party for Sunday brunch, and they were able to accommodate us with no problem.
