The service is superb as the staff is there to please you. They're generous - portions are big and prices are so reasonable. They always try to accommodate your extra requests mostly for no additional charge. The place is truly Mediterranean. Usually I use Open Table to hone in on certain neighborhoods, and I pick based on reviews, but also on the restaurant's website. It was Ethos's website that sold me. Then I was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and extremely friendly staff!
I'm a relatively new vegetarian, so still trying to get my bearings on what exactly to order. My Greek salad was pretty good. I guess I incorrectly assumed that there would be lettuce in a Greek salad. My date's salmon looked really good, but obviously I didn't try any because I'm a vegetarian.
All and all great restaurant because of the ambiance, staff, energy, and food preparation and presentation. I'd definitely recommend!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect for large groupsAwesome! Fun! Excellent service! Great food! We dined with a party of eight. Perfect choice for family style Mediterranean dining. So many courses, kept flowing and timed well. We were never rushed. The server was fun and added a lot to the dining experience. As the night got on, the restaurant noise level increased. The food is so tremendously good. We usually tend to order a whole pile of small plates because A)there are so many, and B)they are so good! The place is always hopping so don't go if you are planning on a very quiet romantic night. Music is pumped through all night and whenthe lights go down and you hear the music ramped up and the Hawaii 5-0 theme song, play along cuz it's someone's birthday!! The staff is enthusiastic and you can't beat a freebie when it comes to fresh Greek desserts served family style, on the house! To accommodate the 45 min wait, they compd each of the 5 people in our party a glass of wine. Greek salad was wonderful, fish and lamb dishes spectacular. You can order whole fish from a display stand and while they prepare it you can have a relaxed conversation while having appetizers like tzatziki, hummus or grilled octopus among others.
The service was very attentive and our entrees wild black sea bass (plaki) and lamb chops were excellent. Since this is a favorite place for many people I recommend advance reservations. I feel bad to generalize after just 2 tries but they may not really honor reservations. Waiting wouldn't be as bad but the bar is often taken by diners as well. Many of the tables around us refused, but we found it to be a cozy, delightful meal. The fish was positively delectable! I had a reservation and I wasn't made to wait at the bar like at most restaurants. I always have my favorite, the Greek style lamb chops. They always cook it as requested. My two friends were there for the first time and really enjoyed their food and the ambiance. The Greek salad, sardine appetizer, swordfish, and veal entrees were fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared. Our waitress, however, started to take our order without noticing that she hadn't taken our drink order yet. The complimentary desserts are always amazing! Food was excellent and worth another return trip. Wine list is excellent. Restaurant is large and spacious, so felt no intrusion from other guests, even from a relatively large group nearby.
Service was excellent.
But the seating was not timely waited 50 minutes past my dinner reservation to be seated, leading to numerous apologies by the staff and management.

When we arrived for our late evening dinner we approached the host and upon telling him we had a reservation he took us to a table. The service was very attentive. Our waiter, Irini, was especially making sure we had the orders delivered on a timely basis.First a delicious hot appetizer made with grilled eggplant tomato and greek cheese. It was followed by a very delicious greek seafood cassoulet containing razor clams, mussels shrimps and fish in a aromatic and flavorful broth. A glass of syrah wine made the meal outstanding. My partner had a delicious filet grilled wild salmon.
