I started off with the braised beets and my husband had the soft shell crab in a tempura batter for appetizers. Then I ordered the sea bass special which was delicious and my husbands filet mignon was melt in your mouth fantastic! Very nice wine list too. We sat near the "library" corner table. Perfect. We have never been disappointed. All their entrees, whether fish or meat, are prepared with care. Presentation is outstanding as well as service. I would highly recommend Chilean Sea Bass (when offered) as well as the grass fed beef and rack of lamb. The wine list will make any wine enthusiast ecstatic! We had the late reservations for a table of 5, and we were never short changed, because people wanted to go home. The courses were spaced out evenly and the team was totally attentive. Food was great from the main course to the side dishes. We sat quite a while before anyone took our drink order, and at the end of the meal there was no waiter in sight so we sat and talked waiting for our check. As soonFirst time at Esty. As soon as I walked in I knew I would like it. The entrance opens into the bar area and it is very welcoming with a gas fire display behind the bar and candles and fresh flowers. The bartender was fantastic. Excellent drinks. Lovely manner and interaction. Service was wonderful. Our waiter Jack was very informed, pleasant and courteous. Dining room, tables, details -- all appeared to be thought out and in classic good taste. Very comfortable ambiance but also very special. We all enjoyed our food and were not rushed even though we took almost 3 hours to finish all courses. I was there with my Husband, Sister and Mother, but it would have been just as lovely for a romantic dinner for two. Highly recommend!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AM
