"Estate is our current favorite restaurant in Sonoma. Nice menu with attention to detail in the presentation of the various dishes, an attentive wait staff, and a very efficient and friendly manager all set in the lovely former home of General Vallejo's daughter, so what else could you ask for? Situated a few blocks from the main plaza, it is often overlook by tourists, which makes it much easier to get a table than at it's sister restaurant, The Girl and the Fig. Estate's cena di familigia, the fixed priced family style dinner that changes weekly, is a real bargain and a fun way of trying several different dishes."

"We had a wonderful birthday dinner...the food was great, atmosphere very nice, friendly and thankfully not snobbish as is the case with many 5 star sites we have enjoyed over the years. Daniel in NYC chefs well, but Sonoma makes you feel at home, along with the gourmet food. Thank you, ESTATE."

"As usual, ESTATE did not disappoint! I absolutely LOVE coming here for Sunday brunch, and the special Easter Sunday brunch was a real treat!! It was one of the best values out there, and the food as always was FANTASTIC!! The service is always exceptional as well! Keep up the great work!!"

"Very delicious food...some of which was grown in their own Garden! We really enjoyed the separation of space by different rooms throughout the 'estate.' Kept the noise down and helped us feel a sense of privacy."

"The Estate never disappoints and it's Le Cena Di Famiglia fixed price menu is both generous and an incredible bargain. The wait staff is excellent. We would have given them an overal rating of five stars but we asked to share the most wonderful appetizer on the menu, their house-made canneloni, and it never appeared. Otherwise, our wait person was pleasant and attentive without being intrusive.
I had the arctic char (one of my favorites) and my wife had the pan roasted chicken. We loved them both, but after tasting my wifes entre I vowed that next time, I'm going to order the chicken.
Their wine selections are always diverse and creative, though the per glass choices are somewhat limited. Their bar tender is amazing - Best Mojito in town"

"The Estate is a beautiful house or should I say mansion which has different rooms in which you dine in. The ambiance was dim and romantic but perfect for going out to dinner w/friends as well as it gets a little loud once the crowd thickens. I had such a wonderful time w/this restaurant, it had a cozy feel to it and the waiter was very knowledgeable of the wine list & the food. The food was also great and very reasonable. We chose to have the prixe fixe meal of the night which was good for 2 -4 people and it had 4 meals, the appetizer, primi, secondi & dolci. Everything was good except for the dessert since I'm not a fan of the soury, tangy taste of the lemon custard. Overall, I had a great experience at this restaurant."
