Establishment is a spot that is a bit on the edge. It was too quiet for a December Saturday night which I expect is a bit disconcerting for the owner and the 'crossed off' wine list reflected that although the wines offered were good value and quality, albeit short on selection. Service was outstanding and upfront - the server took us through the menu and was clear in saying what was and wasn't available so there was no annoyance of ordering and then being told after. Food was excellent, we were 5 and like tapa style food and so sharing was great. All courses were great and while quanitity may seem a bit lacking, flavour, presentation and quality more than compensated. Not an inexpensive experience but was worth the westside trip.

Peanut soup was fabulous and the tapasampler plates were great to share. Bun with lamb slider was dry but the lamb was delicious. The saccontini pasta was wonderful - a really delicious mix of flavours and textures. Service was attentive and friendly.

3 of us went on a Friday night and it was surprisingly quiet, but we all really enjoyed the food and ambience. It's got a nice modern yet warm feel to the decor, and a fireplace with sofas! The food was great! I had the tapas tasting plate, which was perfect, because I wanted to try all the things that were offered. The chicken peanut soup was delicious! One friend enjoyed the risotto balls, and there was also a lot of options for our friend with a serious wheat allergy, she was pleased with her tasty chicken dish. There is lots of room for a group and also quiet corners for a couple. We'll be back!

I would definitely recommend the Risotto balls....they would make me come back. Side note, not as impressive of a scene as I thought for this neighborhood. It was very tame and quiet...and it took a long time for our cocktails...when there was clearly only our order in queue. (the tables around us only ordered wine). But this chef is worth a second visit....

Found the food to be very flavourful, but extremely small portion sizes. I got a $24 tasters plate that consisted of one piece of ravioli type pasta, one small rice ball, a slider and one other small item and a small bowl of soup. It was like a plate of four tapas, but $6 a bite. I found that while the ambiance was nice enough and the food bites did taste good, it was just not good value for what we received. Was a good experience to try out though.

I went for dinner with 2 friends this past Friday evening. I had the peanut soup, Heirloom tomato salad and the lobster cakes and they were all delicious. My friends said their meals were just as good. It was quiet for a Friday night. For the neighborhood in Kits this is a keeper. Service was excellent as well.

We had 5 people and wanted to order 2 sampler trays and 2 extra dishes on the side. The waitress recommended us to get an order +1/2 of each item in the sampler instead... so we did that and ordered way too much food in the end. I felt she could've warned us of the amount of food we're ordering... the Peanut soup, lamb sliders and truffle oil fries were amazing. Everything else was good too, but didn't wow us. The price was a little on the pricey side.

Our server was great. Easy going and friendly and knowledgable. It was very quiet when we went on a Friday night with only a couple other tables in the restaurant. The food presentation was great, though our table had mixed feelings about how enjoyable the food was. Probably a better after the bar scene because it looks like they have a dj booth and their menu is predominantly shaping plates. The vibe/decor was very confusing and not appealing.

We got a salad for $13 that had 4 slices of tomatoes, some herbs and cheese. On top of that, the salad was bland. tapas vs large plates is really appetizers vs entrees. We thought everything was to share ... very confusing menu and just completely underwhelming and totally overpriced.

The food was ouststanding and the service good. The ambience of the restaurant was cool and we enjoyed our dinner very much. We shared a flatbread and all three in our party tried the tasting sampler (a sample of 5 dishes). The peanut soup is so delicious I would travel to back to this restaurant just to have a bowl of it. The food is imaginative and the presentation was beautiful. The hoighlight was Chef Bongo coming out from the kitchen to say hello to us!! Would highly recommend!

The food was over priced but tasty. The portions were small and the soup we had was cold. The presentation on the plate was great. The service was very slow, the kitchen seemed over tasked and we observed that several plates were being delivered to the wrong tables. We also noted tables who came in after us received their orders before us. The waitress tried very hard to recover and brought us a complimentary salad, she was very apologetic.

Really enjoyed the food and the restaurant had a good atmosphere, BUT, we were in and out in 45 minutes, and that was not because we were trying to rush out of there. Everything we ordered came out almost instantly. Our salad, which we meant as an appetizer, came out after the main courses were already served. The waiter asked if we would like our bill, without even asking us if we would like coffee or dessert. We felt like we were being herded out quickly. The place was not even half full and it was around 7:00 p.m. on a Saturday night. It would have been nice to be able to take a bit of time, especially since we came into the city from way out in the 'burbs' to celebrate a birthday. Wouldn't 'rush' back there again.
