"We enjoyed our dinners of petrale sole and chicken. BUT before dinner, we had wine in the bar. I ordered the house wine, which in most restaurants is the least expensive. Be forewarned that this is not the case at Esquire. Spataro's does the same thing, so I should have known better. The house wine was $9/glass, which puts it toward the top of the price range. This tactic is misleading to anyone sitting down initially without a menu and placing an order quickly to speed things up. Our final bill was higher than than we (my fiancee and I) had anticipated since I had more than one glass."

"Great spot before events at the Community Center in the evening. Valet parking is convenient. A little expensive but nice sophistocated atmosphere. Food is tasty, especially the appetizer Artichokes and the bartender is very good. It would be nice if they could expand the menu a little. But we always have a fine time and feel that we've been someplace special!"
