Salmon special - cooked & seasoned perfectly and served on a bed of amazingly tasty cous-cous that had sweet white corn, green olives, cherry tomatoes.....YUM!
Day boat scallops & shrimp - Not as good as the salmon, but still very good
Coconut tart - spectacular!
Lemon tart - not quite lemony or tart enough for my taste

For Mother's Day, we had dinner for 4: salmon, rockcod, bay scallop, and a cheese dish. The scallops was declared delicious so did the crab cake appetizer; the cheese texture gooey to spread on bread; rockcod could be fresher and tasted bit salty with dab of capers on top; salmon was good except we wish the fish was not piled on top of the accompanying greens. We shared some mussels -- it was yummy and tender! This location in Danville is definitely a step up and provides great ambiance, an open, airy dining area and comfortable seating. Everything we ordered was quite tasty and not at over-the-top prices for a fine dining experience at lunch. Our waiter was the only issue and a slight one at that. He was knowledgeable and efficient but didn't always listen well. One example: my husband ordered a decaf, I said I wanted one too. The waiter brought one coffee for my husband but not for me. I then said never mind and he showed up 5 minutes later with my coffee, then said, "Oh, you didn't want it?" Minor point but worth mentioning. Otherwise, excellent overall. We started by having a drink at the bar. Our bartender Adam did a great job recommending a wine for my friend that was looking for a blend, which they did not have. She loved his recommendation.
For food, we recommend staying with their two mainstays, the pot roast and the wrapped chicken. All of their food is good, but these dishes are always right on.
I was visiting with a friend I had not seen in nearly 25 years. They never made us feel like we should leave upon completing our meal.
The staff is exceptional from those who greet you at the door; the bartender; waiters; and manager. I had been to Esin for dinner and I had enjoyed it in the past so I wanted my friends to have an opportunity to enjoy their birthdays with a special lunch. The menu offered a wide selection of choices. There were soups, small plates, salads, entrees and sandwiches to select. My guests selected the chicken salads and thoroughly enjoyed them. I ordered the grilled prawn salad and was pleased with my selection. The wine list offered 3 oz glasses, 6 oz glasses or bottles. Desserts were wonderful! The pecan pie and the espresso chocolate tart with salted carmel were out of this world.
