Escoba Bistro and Wine BarI had the tiger rose pastaI had the tiger rose pasta dish and it was served rather quickly. Overall, it was a tasty pasta dish and I enjoyed it. My friend had the Chicken and Chorizo pasta dish and he quite enjoyed it as well. I would definitely come here again for lunch. My husband and I often have different tastes in restaurants but we both agreed that we would definitely be back, based on the quality of the food and the experience overall. The prices are very reasonable. The ambiance was very relaxed but energetic and even though the front windows were open on a rainy evening the temperature was very comfortable. Had a nice little spot at the open window with view of the street. Food was fantastic and the service was great too. There is a parkade less than a block away with cheap evening parking. I usually go for lunch and it's excellent. This time, my husband and I went for a Friday night dinner. Street parking is free after 6pm; it was easy to get a reservation and it's centrally located. I loved the romantic atmosphere. The wine list offers great variety without being pretentious. I absolutely love the service here - the servers are well trained, have been there a long time, know the menu well, are willing to offer suggestions about food and wine and best of all are well dressed. The menu hasn't changed for a few years, but they do everything so well that it hasn't been a problem for me.
