Once seated we were greeted by our friendly and knowledgeable waitress. Between the three of us we had Chicken, Rib Eye Steak and the Salmon. It was no problem when my friend said she did not like zucchini, our waitress was quick to suggest several alternatives which worked out wonderfully. The food did not disappoint. Beautifully presented, excellent. Ernie's is a real gem in Manteca. We will returning soon and often. Waited over 30 minutes past our 7:45 reservation time to be seated. Bar service was slow while we waited. Bartender had to leave a couple of times to get things from the stockroom. No specials for the evening and were out of what I ordered. Server had to come back to get a second choice from me. Once we did order, everything went smoothly. Food was very good. Chef came out after to introduce himself and talk to his patrons.
