Erna's Elderberry HouseExclusive and ImpressiveWe enjoyed the 5 Course Chet's Tasting Menu of 3 hour duration which included the delightful optional cheeses selection following the Salad. One could also include a special compliment of wine paired with each course for a truly extravagant evening. The serving style was well choreographed and lacked nothing. The owner swooped by our table for a brief hello / thank you visit toward the conclusion. We spent the weekend hiking Yosemite in May when the falls were overflowing. Since Yosemite is both a physical and meditative experience, I was looking for ambiance and gourmet food which were in abundance at Erna's. The service was impeccable. The subtle way every course was served and every need was met was so appreciated. Always there but never interfering with an evening of conversation. Portions were just right for being able to taste all the fine courses.
