The grandeur of the 1st floor lounge offers guests a voluminous space with a 40-foot bar. The inviting lounge is an ideal spot to enjoy hors d'oeuvres, with a separate menu. The 1st floor mezzanine overlooking the 1st floor bar area is ideal for semi-private functions. Epic's main dining room, located on the 2nd floor, is a dramatic space with 23-foot tall floor-to-ceiling windows giving the space an energetic yet intimate city vibe. The 2nd floor mezzanine overlooking the main diing room is ideal for private event functions. The roof deck lounge provides an additional 4,000 square feet of breathtaking views of Chicago's downtown skyline. It's modern design makes it a perfect space for a cocktail reception. "We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Epic. The food was excellent and the service was very good. After dinner we went upstairs to the outdoor bar area and continued our evening. The space is great! What a great to spend a Saturday night!"

"In a very trendy part of town, with lots of restaurants and clubs, we actually had a nice meal. The cocktails, food and wine were all very good. It's a large place that can get loud when it fills up. That said, I really enjoyed my meal and experience at Epic"

"Thought the restaurant was average. Bartender did not know that a straight up martini was served in a martini glass. Put that and a straight up manhattan in a water glass and was confused by our request for a martini glass even though there were plenty."

"The food and service was great. The sea bass was very fresh and well prepared. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. Usually brussel sprouts are cooked in too much oil but these were delicious. The server was very friendly and not too intrusive."

"This is one of my favorite places lately in Chicago. Been twice in three months. And the price point is not crazy expensive. Delicious food, wonderful service. The plates are all well thought out and they offer many different items that tend to change with what is the best. you must try the gnocci and the tuna tartare. Can't wait to go back and try more delectable dishes. The wine list is fantastic as well. Diego, our waiter, was polite and made great suggestions based upon our personal likes. He is very charming. Jason the Sommelier has assembled a nice list from around the world with various prices. He is quite nice and approachable if you have any questions about what wines. Thanks a lot. I'm still talking about you guys... keep it up!"

"Epic is an interesting restaurant. It has a large bar area downstairs with an energetic music track. Upstairs, it is a casual restaurant with a wide variety of clientele - from young to old, hip to buttoned down business types. The menu reads well and the food looks great, but the execution is very safe - not a lot of seasoning of bright flavors. Moreover, the sound track from the bar is also the sound track for the restaurant, and there is a disconnect. Prices are reasonable and the food is good, but not wow. If you want a meal that is much better than bar food but with more of a bar feel, Epic is the place for you."

"Our evening was made all the better due to our server, Sophie. She was fantastic! We were celebrating a birthday and the personalized birthday message on the menu was a nice touch! we enjoyed the variety of food selection and the care in prepararation, presentation and timing of the delivery of the courses made for a relaxed pace. It was a memoriable experience for all of us."
