Enzo's on the LakeThe food was excellent andThe food was excellent and the wine list has great selection in variety and price. A true dining experience.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMLongwood gemAn authentic neighborhood gem which continues to serve up inspired, creative Italian fare.
Service and ambiance are pleasant and friendly.
You are treated like an old friend when you show up.
A bit pricey but worth the splurge for a special occasion or whenever you are not in the mood for another 'restaurant in a box' experience.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Special OccasionDo not come into Enzo's figuring you will have the standard Italian fare - all of the food is fresh, a little bit different, and all excellent. Not open late, and absolutely recommend reservations. If you do not have reservations, plan to arrive by 6:30 at the latest to get a table. Server was at times a little aloof, as if he really didn't care if we liked the food or not, but otherwise attentive.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMFavorite restaurant when in OrlandoEnzo's has been my favorite restaurant for over 20 years. The bucatini is my favorite meal of all time. We moved to Colorado and couldn't wait to eat here when returning to Florida for a visit this week. Was wonderful bringing my daughter and her boyfriend here for the first time. The Black Forest cake was beyond amazing!! Our waiter makes me smile each time I visit and we request him every time :)5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMAuthentic Italian dining. Try it!Excellent service, original recipes, great wine, pleasant atmosphere.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall restaurant was very-good.SeOverall restaurant was very-good.Service was excellent...my only reason for not giving a perfect score was the fettuccine alfredo seafood special was lacking a reasonable portion of seafood; the dish was described as also having asparagus spears...mostly stalks.Antipasto salad we should have been asked what we would like for selection...but in there defense we could have mentioned our interest...very friendly and accommodating.Ambience was very good; would recommend window view. Our table was right at hall entrance.Noise level was acceptable that provided a relaxed atmosphere5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMRomantic Spot for DinnerThis restaurant was delightful, a very quaint and charming white stucco
mediterranean villa. The rear of tne restaurant is a wall of windows, which
overlook the gardens and the lake beyond.
The service was very friendly, efficient and attentive.
We enjoyed a wonderful cold antipasto for an appetizer.
The Bucatelli with porcini was a bit too salty and dry, but the Fettucine
crustaci, in a rich cream sauce, with shrimp and huge lumps of lobster meat
was exquisite and perfectly seasoned. It was delicous.
All in all, a lovely setting, with very good northern Italian cuisine and as romantic
as advertised. We will go back again, since their menu has a lot of potential.
It is very good, indeed. Go here and you won't be disappointed.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMWe love Enzo's. you're welcomedWe love Enzo's. you're welcomed there as a friend as soon as you enter. In the world of cookie cutter restaurants Enzo's is a warm, welcoming, breath of fresh air. The Carbonarra is awesome. The bread is sinfully good. The environment is warm and charming. Enzo's is perfect for a quiet, romantic dinner.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMBirthday PartyI was lucky enough to have a surprise birthday party organised for me at Enzo's
The staff were incredibly helpful in allowing family memebers to stay hidden until my husband and I were seated We were allocated to the private room and with 4 grandchildren included in the celebration it was perfect.
Our waitress was absolutely wonderful and just made the evening so much fun and so very memorable for me. She intereacted with the children in their menu choices and they had an absolute ball.
The food as always at Enzo's was superb, particularly the veal dish.
Enzo's is always our first choice for a special occasion or just an intimate dinner, always always memorable.
.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMWe celebrated our 20th weddingWe celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary here. The antipasto appetizer was very unique and delicious, chefs choice. We had the seafood special and lamb chops that were outstanding. Would recommend this for a special occasion.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMFive star experienceCant wait to go back! Food was amazing and wait staff was just as great! The short ribs and seafood pasta were five star!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMBillyMacVery good first experience. The food was very good and the service was top notch. The price was a bit high for the portion size, but well worth the quality.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMA hidden gem!!!I found Enzo's on my first business trip to Orlando about 20 years ago. It was amazing as every dinner there ever since has been. I am a foodie who travels on business 100 nights plus per year for 25 years so I have a lot of dining experience. Its worth the drive from anywhere in the area you will be amazed by the food, the ambiance and the staff. What a hidden gem!4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent service and treatedExcellent service and treated extremely well for my wife's birthday!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Find!Great food and service. We will definitely be back.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMLike a step back in timeIt has been over 15 years since we last dinned here, and when we arrived, it was like we were there last week.
The food was good, staff efficient ...... Could use a bit of updating, new chairs, flooring et , without changing the charm of the restaurant. Wine list a bit limited and quite expensive.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMA wonderful evening !We came as a group of fifteen adults and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was outstanding, the staff efficient and the setting beautiful. We will definitely come again !3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMalways specialThis is a place that is fabulous and never changes, never fails, never dissapoints...love it.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall we had a great experienceOverall we had a great experience and would definately come back!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMOur favorite restaurant, period.Think of Enzo's experience as an high-end Italian family restaurant somewhere in rural Umbria, in a farmhouse looking west over a lake, the food is just as good (in some cases, even better, the Carbonara, for instance), the atmosphere just as relaxed (blue lake, orange sunset, paintings and sculpture). The big difference between Enzo's and that fictional Umbrian restaurant is the service. Enzo's staff offers that precise, timely, considerate, and friendly service that Americans expect for their high-ticket dollar, quite the opposite of the Italian model.
Awesome place. Make sure your server builds an antipasto plate (or two!) for you.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMEnzo's is an Orlando starEnzo's is an Orlando star whose sparkle is starting to wear off. The food is still good but not great. The room is still great but the service is just tired. Maybe they have been packed for so long the staff just can't keep up any longer or maybe they don't remember how good the service was when Enzo commanded great effort all the time. Still great, just not the best anymore.2/23/2013 12:00:00 AM
