A word from Enzo's La Piccola Cucina
With a Passion for Italian food, it was always the dream of Vincent Scozzari Sr., "Enzo,” to open a restaurant in the place where his father and mother had an Italian deli in the early 1900’s. It was Enzo’s aspiration to have a place where his family and friends would feel at home, bring their own wine, and enjoy the finest of Homemade Italian Old World Specialties with an innovative flare.

Enzo's offers a wide collection of traditional homemade Pastas, Veal, Chicken, Fresh Seafood, Steaks and Chops, along with many Seasonal, Old World dishes such as Tripa, Dandelion, Zucchini Blossoms, Cardone, Rabbit, Polenta and many more, of which most of the recipes are family traditions.

The Family at Enzo’s takes much pride in the freshness and originality of our dishes, while it still remembers the flavors of yesterday.

Still "Field to Fork" three decades later!

Billed as a great local place, the food was relatively tasteless. The chicken cacciatore, supposedly a house specialty, tasted as though it had been half-cooked before the dinner service and then was overdone in order to "crisp it up." Salad was good. Special salmon was tasteless. The button bread (another house "specialty") was sitting in a pool of oil and garlic, entirely unappetizing and basically inedible. Take a pass.

We wanted a local place with real home cooked food. Enzo's was the perfect choice, as usual. Nice corner table for 2!!! Wonderful 'specials' to choose from. Very attentive service. Always welcoming staff. Need to make a point to visit there more often!

Dinner at Enzo's was fun with friends. Service was excellent. We needed special attention to our entrees and they were served as requested (hold the tomatoes, no lemon, etc). The food was prepared with mild flavors with no one flavor overpowering the dish. Excellent neighbor gem!

Enzo's food is so delicious, I actually dined there three times in one week. This is how Italian food should be prepared and enjoyed. Original, creative, made from scratch recipes cooked to perfection. My family, friends and business associates who shared in my week long dining experience believe Enzo's is the best Italian restaurant between Philly and NY. My favorite menu items of the week were Enzo's Stuffed Zuchinni Flowers (grown on premise), fresh Tomato & Mozzarella Salad, Veal Capri w/Capicola, eggplant and mozzarella, Sausage Giambotta (made on premise) and Breaded Pork Chops w/Jersey Fresh peaches, Gorgonzola and baby greens. The desserts didn't disappoint. The homemade Peach Ricotta Cheesecake and Blueberry Gelato were amazing!

This is a very nice place for a casual meal at a great price. The dining room may be small but the food is very good and the service is very attentive.

Overall very tasty dishes. Even the salad with the crumbled blue cheese was spot on. Bread and garlic oil to die for. A little heavy on the cream( chicken Nicolo) but still delicious. The place looks like grandmas dining room and cooking would remind one of grandmas kitchen.

If you're looking for amazing Italian food, you have got to try Enzo's. Various specials and you can't go wrong with any of them. Had the zucchini blossoms last weekend, straight from Anna's own garden, and they were fantastic. I've had all different pastas, seafood, steak, etc and haven't had a bad meal yet. My favorites are the cavatelli bolognese, Enzo's specialty (cavatelli with white clam sauce), Anna's favorite (mussels in marinara) and calamari livornaise. If the grilled calamari is on the appetizer special, you've got to try it. This is a byob so you need to bring your own favorite wine. It's not a large place so be sure to make a reservation. And when you get there, you'll feel like you've just joined this great Italian family!!

After seeing them come up when booking a table, I remembered that I haven't been here in 3 or 4 years and gave them a try. it was just as I remembered, especially the quality of the food. The pork chop special used a combination of their port wine sauce and some fresh blueberries that worked really well when mixed with some feta cheese. The tomato basil soup was also pretty good. I always thought their food was constantly 3 1/2 to 4 star quality and great for casual dining. After dining here often enough, I never call being disappointed and I certainly loved what I had this time.

My guy and I have dined at this restaurant numerous times and always enjoy the food. It is a family business and it is evident by the presence of the owner onsite and overseeing the dining experience for her customers. The menu has seasonal changes and the focus is 'locally grown and Jersey fresh.' Recently we dined on a beet, asparagus and blueberry salad with feta cheese and dressed with Balsamic dressing; absolutely yummy as we both enjoy beets and blueberries. I was thrilled to find soft shell crab on the menu and enjoyed it as prepared by the chef. This BYOB location is found 'off the beaten track' and worth trying.
