Diner Reviews
  • "truly is one of my favorite restaurants and glad this one is in my neighborhood. Friendly, personable, great atmosphere and terrific food."

  • "Food was excellent, from appetizers to dessert. Menu incorporated many spring vegetables, which felt nice and light after the long winter. Only complaint we had is that we were placed at a very tiny table upstairs, directly outside a private party room. Due to the temperature of the party room, they kept the door open throughout most of the meal, which was quite bothersome. Difficult to have a meaningful conversation when you are istening to speeches and stories in honor of someone's 50th birthday! Will return as the food is outstanding, but will make sure we don't have a table in the same location."

  • "The only complaint was the mushroom appetizer was a bit bland. Maybe sharper cheese sprinkled on top? It definitely needed something. But the other small plates we had were very good, the Big Eye Tuna menu addition was excellent, though maybe cooked just a tad over medium-rare. Skipped dessert, as everything on the list is a bit overdone for my taste (I was craving something chocolate like a simple ganache, mousse or even flourless chocolate cake, but everything was easily three or four ingrediants, more flavor combo than I was hoping for). The wine list is superb! If you love Pinot Noir, don't miss the Ceritas, a little known but phenomonal Sonoma Coast winery. That bottle alone showed the depth of knowledge of their wine director!"

  • "We've been to Eno Terra on several occasions, both as a 'date night' and with kids. The environment is casual but upscale and the service is wonderful and attentive. They source locally which we like and the staff are very knowledgeable about the menu. We love going here when we need a cozy, comfortable, special meal where the food is exceptional, and the vibe is warm and welcoming. If the night is chilly, ask to sit by the fireplace!"

  • "I've visited Eno Terra over six times in the last year and it never fails to impress. The wine list offers choices for every palate in every price range giving the diner options for appropriate pairings for whatever the seasonal menu or chef's specials offer. Well-done!"

  • "This restaurant run by the Momo brothers features fresh food served beautifully. The waitstaff is well-trained to make a lunch or dinner experience a joy. The 50 percent off wine nights allow you to drink wines you can not ordinarily afford. The tuna cerviche is memorable. If you are looking for a terrific wine at a reasonable price, trust the manager."

  • "I am not one to write online reviews, but I had a really fantastic meal at Eno Terra. It's a lovely space and everything we ate was delicious and beautifully presented. I will definitely return!"

  • "When making the reservation, I noted we were celebrating a birthday and a military promotion. The staff did remember the birthday and brought out a pretty plate of cookies with a candle and the words "Happy Birthday" written on it. The Salmon Tartare is delicious. I was disappointed with my entree (Seafood Cacciucco) because the shrimp were slightly overcooked and a little fishy. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their meals - from the Grilled Beef Filet & Braciole to the NY strip special and the Cavatelli & Rabbit Ragu. Everyone loved dessert! Rhubarb and Mixed Berry Cobbler, Black Forest Chocolate Parfait and Spiced Kingston Pudding. My dessert wine (Sommelier suggested) was the absolute best thing I have tasted!"

  • "We got seated right away which was nice. The food has very unique combinations and flavors, but not in a good way. Do not get the special of the day mushroom risotto it has an egg in it and oatmeal consistency which makes it taste awful. The vegetable lasagna taste also like a green salad put through a blender. The beet salad was small with about 1/2 a beet in it. The meatballs were ok. The cappuccino was the only thing we really enjoyed. We will never go back. I do not recommend this restaurant. Good luck to those that venture there to eat!"

  • "I love this farm to table restaurant. It has been great every time we have been there. Creative, fresh, delicious and spectacular, knowledgeable and friendly servers."

  • "When they brought us the appetizers, one of them was not what we had ordered; after several minutes they brought us the right one. Fifty minutes after we had arrived, we were still waiting for our entrees. Only when we inquired about its whereabouts did we learn that "the chef made a mistake" and that we would "soon" get our food. Though we appreciated the plate of complimentary cold cuts, this was not a substitute for good service. Despite the poor service, however, the food itself was very good. Finally, by the time the bill came around, we were given a generous 20% discount, but, to our amazement they had also included the wrong appetizer! To their credit, this was fixed as soon as we pointed it out. Overall, very disappointing service."

  • "We were 5 for lunch & it was wonderful from start to finish. Everything was delightful, & if we wanted for anything (more bread, etc) we only had to ask. Service was exemplary & the food was delicious. We licked our plates. The gluten free gnocchi was excellent & we will definitely be coming back for more. Desserts were fine & the wine list was interesting. Look forward to our next visit. This was not our first time, have been disappointed in the past but Eno Terra redeemed itself. Kudos."

  • "Excellent food and great service. Very attentive wait staff. This restaurant is made for foodies who enjoy simple foods with great taste! Bring your eating pants you won't want to leave anything on your plate."

  • "Eno Terra is just about my favorite restaurant but sometimes we feel the chef is overly creative. The presentation is always exquisite but this time the flavors didn't work as well as they might. The risotto (a special for the evening as an appetizer or a main course) was a disappointment. But we will certainly return."

  • "When I am in a good restaurant with friends , I like to be able to speak and listen my friends. Too much noise make the area very uncomfortable . I found this In Kingstone' Eno Tera . it is one of the reason I go very often in this restaurant !"

  • "There was a group of us that went to Eno Terra to celebrate my fiancé's birthday. The food and service was wonderful (as usual). Only downside is that the downstairs can be very loud, thankfully we were seated upstairs. We'll be back!"

  • "We went here for dinner on Friday night. The restaurant was mostly empty on the upper level. The food was very slow to come and the AC was on full so several diners including ourselves were freezing. The food was not hot when it came and we sent back one entree. So three people ate while one waited. The Maitre D was very gracious and didn't charge us for the entree (at their suggestion) and we appreciated that. However the food was really not what we expected and not as good as the food we have had there before. We didn't find anything on the desert menu that appealed to any of us."

  • "Great casual ambience with good service and interesting, well-prepared food. Arancini made with braised beef, excellent--good flavored cacciucco with nice mix of fish and shellfish, very good bay scallop-cauliflower puree and roasted cauliflower, excellent bread pudding for dessert."
    Dined on 3/27/2014
  • "The menu provides a choice for most tastes. The wine list, as with any wine list, prices were 3 to 5 times more expensive than what could be purchased in a local liquor store. The portions, food quality, presentation, and service was good. Appetizers averaged $16, entrees averaged $30, and wine choices averaged >$80. While I'm not all about price I am about value, and the food just did not seem to be worth the price. There are so many BYOB restaurants in the area with as good or better food, serving farm to table. Bottom line, the atmosphere and architecture is cool, the value is OK at best. Buy your favorite bottle of wine and go to a BYOB, you will probably enjoy it just as much."

  • "Fantastic as always, one of my go to places close to home. Eclectic mix of farm fresh ingredients make this place a rare find for foodies!"

  • "We have naver had a bad experience at Eno Terra. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable. The sommelier was terrific. She gave great advice and will work within your price guidelines. The kitchen was a little slow, which we didn't mind at all since the conversation was so interesting. One of our guests is vegetarian, and she was deliighted with the many options on the menu."

  • "I have been to Eno Terra several times since it opened several years ago. I feel the quality has gone downhill, and don't think that I will return. While I really enjoyed the bay scallops as an appetizer, my T-bone steak was rather tough."

  • "great environment - knowledgeable staff, delicious food!"

  • "Absolutely pleased. A Kingston Trio: fine appetizers, memorable dinners, a great Super Tuscan (wines are half off on Sunday and Monday nights). We will return to Eno Terra long before another special occasion arrives."

  • "This was an expensive dining experience, but worth it. The food was very fresh and delicious. Unlike way-too-many high-end eateries these days, they didn't err by piling on every ingredient, spice and topping known to man. The combination of flavors was strong but balanced well. I have a picky family but every one of us loved our meal. It was a tad loud, but then it was quite full. The waiter was eager to explain the menu and specials, but more than we needed, for the parts we could read ourselves."

  • "What a wonderful experience! My family and I took my mother for her Birthday, and everyone was super accommodating. The wait service were knowledgeable about the dishes. Eno Terra had wonderful specials to offer (all of us ordered from the special menu). Everything was super fresh (for the money it better be!). Eno Terra boats an very extensive wine list, and also have a retail license, so if you love the wine you had for dinner, buy a bottle! This was a wonderful experience for us and made my mother's milestone birthday a special one."

  • "I enjoy fine dining, and I prefer my portion sizes to be moderate - I don't enjoy an overloaded plate. This is not a problem at Eno Terra. The salmon tartare was delicious- all three bites of it. The octopus was delicious, all two bites of it. The beet salad was delicious, once you found the beets. The appetizer portions sizes were similar to a 12-course tasting menu size, which is appropriate if you are going to have 12-courses. The entrees were more appropriately sized, but not as outstanding as the appetizers. The service the night we were there was particularly bad (almost comical) - unfortunately, a problem we have encountered before. We will probably try it again, but only because of the lack of fine dining in the area."

  • "We were regulars at ET. The food and service were great. There were too many tables in the main dining room. The noise level was unbearable. I couldn't hear the specials of the day. A table near us was very loud and obnoxious. A pleasant evening was destroyed by them. The bar was quieter than the dining room. I couldn't wait to leave. The prices are high and I would expect the ambiance to be just as high.. But, in view of the noise level I'll never go there again."

  • "We hadn't been to Eno Terra in awhile and had forgotten how great the food is. Creative menu that is well executed and not overdone. Servers were professional, attentive and welcoming. Look forward to going back in the near future!"

  • "we have been meaning to try this restaurant for some time and finally got a chance to go. We were able to bring our 8month old daughter which was a plus. The scallops my wife had with the apple cider reduction were amazing as was the lamb special I had. The server made the whole experience. The wine list is extensive and they were able to recommend something that went extremely well with the meal. The desserts and the look and feel of the restaurant completed a great experience. Although 45 minutes away from where we live, we will be coming back."

  • "This was my third time dining at Eno Terra in the past few months. Although the service and wine were excellent , and my prior two visits excellent, the food this time around left much to be desired . Octopus appetizer was tough , the portion very small, thrown haphazardly on the plate ( unlike the past times I had ordered it) . My entree , a mixed grill " special" , consisted of a 1/3 inch thick piece of filet and two tough pieces of braciole in an unmemorable sauce, also lazily plated . At this price point ($36) , the kitchen seemed to be cooking on a cruise ship, not an area with other fine restaurants . With two lower priced bottles of wine, our bill for four was over $500. Hardly a memorable meal or value for the quality of food ."

  • "Restaurant has changed its menu and removed favorites and added foods that I believe they think are sophisticated but not tasty, has a "sale wine list"; both bottles we ordered were not acceptable."

  • "We'd come to regard Eno Terra as a local treasure. Not anymore. Dinner was skimpy, not too flavorful and slow. The New Jersey salad was so small and the spec of cheese in it so teeny I wondered what I was paying for. My husband's chicken entrée was cold. My entrée, the lamb trio special was also teeny tiny, and the chick pea/potato/onion side was barely enough to fit on a fork. Our pear/berry cobbler dessert was average and served about 10 minutes before our tea. A little too dry to eat without the tea. Why wasn't the tea served together with dessert? The server reached across my face to serve my husband water while I was talking to our friends. A little too close for comfort. Service overall was just too slow. Eno Terra has lost its touch."

  • "Extensive wine list - glasses are on the pricier side but not a huge shock considering the area. Place was busy but we only had to wait a couple minutes for our table. One of the meats on the salumi e formaggi plate was sliced a bit thick. Tasty though."

  • "Beet salad and arancini (deep fried rice balls) were out of this world. Main dishes were delicious too, but rather small servings. Wait service was outstanding."
