My wife and I decided to celebrate our 13th anniversary at Eno Terra because we had had such a nice experience there before. When I called to make a reservation I asked whether it would be possible to get an out-of-the-way table. When we arrived at the restaurant, the hostesses were all smiles and we were shown to a nice table at the back. Service and the food were both excellent throughout. I ordered dessert (my wife just wanted coffee) and out came a nice plate with "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate. It was a really nice touch seeing as the restaurant was buzzing. Finally, at the end of our meal the owner came out to say hello. I really appreciated the nice touches above and beyond the great food. We'll definitely be back.

The service was very inattentive. The waiter could be seen at the other end of the upstairs room drying glasses and laughing and talking with another staff member, and completely ignoring us. We eventually gave up waiting to pay the bill and carried it downstairs. Not a pleasant evening.

going out to dinner can be a touch and go experience- meaning you do not always get "what you pay for" and there is sometimes a disconnect between the quality of the food and the price. Dining at Eno is worth it on all levels - great food, great service and a great time.

Just well prepared, well presented, great food. Service is above average and the décor is great. Just a special place. All of the food is great from salads to seafood to meats to pastas (gluten free ones too!) Have to start with the meat & cheese board whenever we go. Have been many times over several years and have never been disappointed. I save 5 stars for over the top restaurants, but among the restaurants in the NY / Philly area that are "affordable", this one is really five stars in my book!

We've eaten there a lot and always were pleased but this last time the entrees were on par with cafeteria food. My wife had the risotto and I had the ragu. Both dishes were tasteless. The oysters and clam appetizers were good but that's it. They need a menu overhaul.

The new outdoor dining area is very nice, small but elegant. Food was beyond very good, gourmet. Service (Nick) could not have been better with an excellent wine recommendation that was one of the best wines we ever had (and we eat out a lot at nice restaurants).

Took my parents here to celebrate their anniversary. Once again the food and service was top notch and on point. For appetizers we had the garden salad, beet salad, octopus and veal-ricotta meatballs. We also tried an order of the arancini - rice balls with tomatoe sauce. Crunchy, tasty and not greasy. For entrees we had the sea bass, rib-eye steak, salmon and the pasta special of rigatoni with chunky meat ragu. All were delicious. The only complaint was that the fish was not hot - plates need to be warm when served so the food does not get cold. Desserts were the perfect ending - we had the smores, peach/blueberry cobbler, ice cream trio and the bread pudding. Sundays are 50% off selected list of wines - we tried 2 wonderful whites.

Had an early reservation for husband's birthday. Got to Eno Terra and it was not crowded, no need for reservation. We were seated, and our server came out quickly. The server, Tervor, was not very knowledgable about the menu, and was rather rude when we asked questions. Ordered an appetizer (the lamb meatballs) which came out luke warm to cold. Our server and other servers hawked over us as we ate, as if they were waiting for us to leave, but it was empty. We then noticed that the servers all stood by the food prep area talking about customers in a rude manner. Some of the customers even heard them. Would not recommend at all. Food was ok, overpriced as a whole. Go to One 53 or just go to downtown Princeton for Agricola!

My wife were looking for an impromptu place for Friday dinner after a long week and found Eno Terra. The dishes were great versions of the usual salumi and frommagio, pasta and steak with rich flavors and tasty garnishes with many, many choices for wine. A bit pricy for NJ though.

Lovely dinner with friends. Shared salads were both delicious, and my grilled salmon entree was perfect. I was just starting to wonder why the entrees were taking so long to come out, when the waiter appeared with a complementary salami/cheese/olives board, apologizing for the backup in the kitchen. I wouldn't go there if you are in a rush, but it's perfect for a leisurely evening.

My wife and I went for our wedding anniversary. The salumi and fromaggio appetizer was excellent. Everything fresh and homemade. Excellnt very attentive service. Even when my steak originally was not cooked to my liking they were quick to refire another one which was perfectly cooked. Ask them to serve you the porterhouse whole instead of sliced, I think it comes to table more juicy. My wife had the risotto special which she said was the best she ever had. Don' miss the banana bread pudding and berry cobbler. Perfect period to perfect sentence.

We are repeat clients who invited another couple for the first time to Eno Terra as we thought they would like the food, wine selections and atmosphere. We were all very pleased with our dining experience. The food was delicous and attractively prepared. The menu had choices for many tastes and allowed selection from appetizer to main course for vegetarians. The wait staff was flexible when some of our party was not expected and then arrived late and very quickly expanded the place settings. They gave us some latitude for an order of wine just prior to end of happy hour to be extended from 1 to 2 glasses which was very appreciated prior to the start of our meal. Service was prompt and attentive from seating to providing the check.

Entree choices are a bit limited at this location and a bit pricey when considering the serving size (which tends more toward nouvelle cuisine portions). Attractive rustic yet elegant ambience inside and out. The fava bean appetizer carried more spice than described or desired. The trofie al pesto entree could have been better - the pasta was served al dente but the pesto was thin and, even with the addition of tiny pignoli (pine nuts), lacked substantial flavor. Service was attentive.

This was a local recommendation and it was spot on. I happened to treat some customers to dinner one evening and they loved it. The wine's by the glass were pricey at $20 for a Pinot Noir, but it was great so I guess you get what you pay for. WIne selection was wondeful, food options and portion size was great. Unique options to try with a farm to table type menu. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice meal. Highly recommend sitting outside

At times, special place. Not so on Sunday in July - limited menu: restaurant not at 75% of potential; food-wise: selection, preparation, service, etc., vs. September through May. This place can be special, but lets standards fall unacceptably during Summer. I.e. - Sunday cost >$125 before tip, sales tax for two, no drinks, 1 "open cork" bottle of wine (1/2 price special). To be clear, modest appetizer, one main course, sharing 1/2 price wine, and dessert for two people.

I had chosen this restaurant as a special dinner with my son's girlfriend. Nick our waiter was outstanding!! His knowledge of the menu, food and wines, turned our evening into a very memorable occasion. We all had the tasting menu, which was outstanding. Even my son & his father. enjoyed being taken out of their standard meat & potato comfort zone We had started with the meat & cheese plate, that was recommended, and it was a big hit with all. All four of the courses were paired by nick with a flight of wine. He really hit the mark on all points. Nick's narrative of the items that we had chosen added to the pleasure of the meal. We have had drinks and appetizers at the bar previously, this was our 1st time dining. The meal was very good the wait staff extra helpful in food choices. Dave said it was the best pork chop ever served. Our pasta with lamb was so good I'll try and duplicate at home. My halibut, a special had a very good flavor but was quite dry making it chewy, the sauce & vegetable served with it were very good. We normally dine at the Rocky Hill Inn every Sat but wanted not the norm since it was my birthday. We will dine again there but due to prices, will most likely skip dessert and appetizer (even though the zucchini flower was amazing) as a $200 night is a little out of our every weekend spending. Excellent martini and gimlet to the bartender.

I've been to Eno Terra several times and in the past and have always enjoyed it. This visit was different. Although the service was excellent and up to standard, the food was definitely below par. I ordered the halibut special which was overcooked and dried out. My husband opted for the pesto pasta and indicated that the pasta was overcooked and his portion was so small that we had to stop at a fast food place on the way home so he could satisfy his hunger! It will be a long time before I will consider returning to Eno Terra.

While i liked the idea of fresh local ingredients, I found the food a bit bland in some respects and over the top in others. They didn't hit the target with either of our meals. The server's suggestion of an Italian wine was quite nice and she seemed to be very conversant with the menu. Also, the menu was a bit limited; would have liked a few more choices. Also, the vodka martini I ordered was horribly watered. The server said that was the last of the Stoli's...I suspect the bartender poured the last few drops of that brand into a shaker filled with ice and served it instead of asking me to select an alternate vodka. That may seem picky but it was annoying...and it reflects poorly on the service habits of the restaurant as a whole.

We had a lovely time at Eno Terra, this being our second time dining there. The first was with a large group, and the second was just us two. The food was delicious, with simple yet surprising dishes; we loved it all and cleaned our plates, selfishly. The wine list and seasonal cocktails were also nice, being summer. Our server was pleasant, new at the job, truly, but provided fine service and conversation, mostly about the food and the restaurant's seasonal specialties. For someone who doesn't outwardly label themselves as a foodie, I always appreciate it when food is strikingly good and livens the evening or conversation. Eno Terra is a great place and, yes, we'll be going back again.

Love this little gem tucked away outside of Princeton. Only issue is a lack of parking during a week night and no valet parking...in the pouring rain. All is forgiven once seated and we savored stuffed zucchini blossoms, mushroom risotto, lemon ricotta cake...finished off with Barolo wine. Bella....

Had an afternoon appointment in Princeton and was looking for a nice lunch. Eno Terra was wonderful. They have the freshest ingredients, including salami's and fresh meats and the Pasta's were to die for. They also served the best espresso I have ever had. It was served in a hot cup and remained at temperature the entire time, often when ordering espresso if there are several for a table they arrive at the wrong temperature, not here. They were wonderful, and their attention to detail is obvious.
