Eno Terra has consistently been one of our favorite "special occasion" restaurants. This time they outdid themselves. Everything was just perfect. The tuna appetizer--incredible; the heirloom tomato salad--outstanding; the vegetable lasagne--terrific; and dessert with a latte--outstanding. This was truly one of our best meals ever--tops on our list! Oh, and the service--impeccable!

We are addicted to the Montalbano mysteries and have often been curious about Adelina's arancini. Finally, we took the plunge and tried the arancini at Eno Terra. Delicious. Highly recommended, and for those who want to know more, they are rice balls with cheese and spices. The rest of the meal was delicious as well. A special occasion deserves a special treat, which is what Eno Terra is.

My daughters favorite when she is in town. We shared heirloom tomato sald and a lobster pasta to start... Fabulous. 2 dinners were butter poached lobster..how great a regular menu item.. And the griggstown chicken, which is amazing. Desserts were lemon ricotta cake and affogato.. Just a perfect evening with excellent service by nick!

This is a great restaurant. We only live 3 miles away and I keep asking why we don't go back more often. It has a superb menu, cocktails, and wine list. The food is fresh, delicious, and appropriately priced. It's gourmet food without having to go to either NYC or Philly. The Momo family has done a fantastic job with this restaurant and I love the weekend manager. He is so attentive without being overbearing. The staff is excellent as well.

We came with friends, who like is, were elated. The gazpacho and 4 cheese ravioli really tickled our palates. The sea bass and Scottish salmon were also delicious. The Sicilian red wine was perfect. After dinner port and sherry offered after dinner was generous. The sea salt gelato was a pleasant surprise. Will be back.

My wife and I decided to celebrate our 13th anniversary at Eno Terra because we had had such a nice experience there before. When I called to make a reservation I asked whether it would be possible to get an out-of-the-way table. When we arrived at the restaurant, the hostesses were all smiles and we were shown to a nice table at the back. Service and the food were both excellent throughout. I ordered dessert (my wife just wanted coffee) and out came a nice plate with "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate. It was a really nice touch seeing as the restaurant was buzzing. Finally, at the end of our meal the owner came out to say hello. I really appreciated the nice touches above and beyond the great food. We'll definitely be back.

  • Delicious food - skimpy portions
    Siliconlips
    Dined on 8/30/2014
Enjoyed our food, especially the flavors. The portions were rather skimpy, though. For example, we ordered the beet salad and thought the primary ingredient would be the beets, but the greens overpowered the plate and there were only for small pieces of beets (I would say it was less then one slice of a large beet). It should have had at least a full beet and a beet salad, in my opinion. The pasta dishes were flavorful, but again the portions were skimpy. The wine list was large, but it didn't offer bottles that were reasonably priced. Again, glasses order were skimpy (one finger if you were lucky). It was really more of a special occasion type list or for wine connoisseurs.

The service was very inattentive. The waiter could be seen at the other end of the upstairs room drying glasses and laughing and talking with another staff member, and completely ignoring us. We eventually gave up waiting to pay the bill and carried it downstairs. Not a pleasant evening.

I made reservations via OpenTable in advance. In the comments section I requested outdoor seating. Upon our arrival, the unpleasant young lady at the front desk greeted us. I asked about our outdoor reservation and she very politely told me that it doesn't matter what my reservation said, if I would like I can wait until someone leaves. The chicken was delicious, however my spouse ordered one meal and got a completely different one. They adjusted our bill which was nice. The waiter also never brought my friend the pepper she requested at the beginning of the meal. The manager came and apologized. I highly recommend the chicken and the tuna tartar. The arancini isn't the best -lacks flavor. Besides the delicious food, the experience was meh.

Just well prepared, well presented, great food. Service is above average and the décor is great. Just a special place. All of the food is great from salads to seafood to meats to pastas (gluten free ones too!) Have to start with the meat & cheese board whenever we go. Have been many times over several years and have never been disappointed. I save 5 stars for over the top restaurants, but among the restaurants in the NY / Philly area that are "affordable", this one is really five stars in my book!

We've eaten there a lot and always were pleased but this last time the entrees were on par with cafeteria food. My wife had the risotto and I had the ragu. Both dishes were tasteless. The oysters and clam appetizers were good but that's it. They need a menu overhaul.

Took my parents here to celebrate their anniversary. Once again the food and service was top notch and on point. For appetizers we had the garden salad, beet salad, octopus and veal-ricotta meatballs. We also tried an order of the arancini - rice balls with tomatoe sauce. Crunchy, tasty and not greasy. For entrees we had the sea bass, rib-eye steak, salmon and the pasta special of rigatoni with chunky meat ragu. All were delicious. The only complaint was that the fish was not hot - plates need to be warm when served so the food does not get cold. Desserts were the perfect ending - we had the smores, peach/blueberry cobbler, ice cream trio and the bread pudding. Sundays are 50% off selected list of wines - we tried 2 wonderful whites.

Had an early reservation for husband's birthday. Got to Eno Terra and it was not crowded, no need for reservation. We were seated, and our server came out quickly. The server, Tervor, was not very knowledgable about the menu, and was rather rude when we asked questions. Ordered an appetizer (the lamb meatballs) which came out luke warm to cold. Our server and other servers hawked over us as we ate, as if they were waiting for us to leave, but it was empty. We then noticed that the servers all stood by the food prep area talking about customers in a rude manner. Some of the customers even heard them. Would not recommend at all. Food was ok, overpriced as a whole. Go to One 53 or just go to downtown Princeton for Agricola!

Lovely dinner with friends. Shared salads were both delicious, and my grilled salmon entree was perfect. I was just starting to wonder why the entrees were taking so long to come out, when the waiter appeared with a complementary salami/cheese/olives board, apologizing for the backup in the kitchen. My wife and I went for our wedding anniversary. The salumi and fromaggio appetizer was excellent. Everything fresh and homemade. Excellnt very attentive service. Even when my steak originally was not cooked to my liking they were quick to refire another one which was perfectly cooked. Ask them to serve you the porterhouse whole instead of sliced, I think it comes to table more juicy. My wife had the risotto special which she said was the best she ever had. Don' miss the banana bread pudding and berry cobbler. Perfect period to perfect sentence.

We are repeat clients who invited another couple for the first time to Eno Terra as we thought they would like the food, wine selections and atmosphere. We were all very pleased with our dining experience. The food was delicous and attractively prepared. The menu had choices for many tastes and allowed selection from appetizer to main course for vegetarians. The wait staff was flexible when some of our party was not expected and then arrived late and very quickly expanded the place settings. They gave us some latitude for an order of wine just prior to end of happy hour to be extended from 1 to 2 glasses which was very appreciated prior to the start of our meal. Service was prompt and attentive from seating to providing the check.

Entree choices are a bit limited at this location and a bit pricey when considering the serving size (which tends more toward nouvelle cuisine portions). Attractive rustic yet elegant ambience inside and out. The fava bean appetizer carried more spice than described or desired. The trofie al pesto entree could have been better - the pasta was served al dente but the pesto was thin and, even with the addition of tiny pignoli (pine nuts), lacked substantial flavor. Service was attentive.

This was a local recommendation and it was spot on. I happened to treat some customers to dinner one evening and they loved it. The wine's by the glass were pricey at $20 for a Pinot Noir, but it was great so I guess you get what you pay for. WIne selection was wondeful, food options and portion size was great. Unique options to try with a farm to table type menu. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice meal. Highly recommend sitting outside
