It's turning out to be a great mix of young and seasoned professionals coming together to have a great time. Empire has added a DJ in the lounge and the music was great. (Don't know the name of the DJ, but she kept the energy level high.
The food, amazing, we were out for my Wife's 30th b-day in the restaurant and then moved to the lounge. The GMs helped us make it a memorable evening, and our waiters were attentive and catered to our reasonable requests. Overall a great night, we'll be back, and looking forward to it!5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMYummmForget out servers name but he was pretty good, the one thing I hated is that we were very hungry when we got there and the server had to explain at least 10 of the items on the menu, meaning he read each one and explained them, its like hello I can deal with 2 or 3 but not 10 of them. We were sitting there for at least 5 or 6 minutes just listening to him. Then he mest up our orders twice, but we still liked him, and he comped us a free dessert for his mistake. We went there when the bruins were playing thier last game against NY and they had a large screen that came down in the lounge, it was very nice. I was asked if it was a special occasion and I said "yes, it is my anniversary". The girl over the phone asked me if I would like a couple glasses of champagne sent to my table upon arrival or a special desert. I opted for the champagne. I figured why not-it is a special occasion. We arrived and were seated promptly and given out menus. Just when my wife was going to ask what we are going to have for drinks, the champagne arrived along with a "Happy Anniversary". The wife was impressed. Our waiter was excellent, the staff was excellent, and the food was amazing! BTW- the champagne was on the house. Thank you Empire. Food was very good - The service was off the charts - good.
the server gave us a sampling of desserts for our anniversary - they were outstanding.
Dont eat there without sampling some of the desserts.

Excellent drinks as well. Overall, this is one of our favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. This time we were seated far back into the restaurant which is much quieter and private than the area near the sushi bar (or main bar). This was perfect for my fiance and I, but definitely a very different atmosphere and dining experience than our prior trips when we sat near the sushi bar/bar. We had bought a deal from travelzoo so was the original reason we were visiting for the first time. Lobster cupcakes are probably one of the best foods we've ever had! A great cocktail beer and wine list - we loved the geisha cocktail and peach Mai tai. Our server was excellent along with all the staff. Decor and ambiance were also impressive.
