My husband ordered sauce on the side and of course it came out with sauce and had to be sent back. Disappointed little details lost!"

  • "If you are craving salt look no further. Every entree, appetizer we had was just loaded with sodium. It was so gross. I really was excited to eat here as we wanted a nice place to eat for my birthday yesterday. Server was nothing but nice, just a bit slow and forgetful. The asian salad was pretty good, the pecans in the salad were to die for!!! :) I ordered the mahi as an entree and my date ordered the fried chicken. I work in the food industry, I am a server, have been for 4 years so I never send back food, this was the first time I have ever sent something back. It was terrible! So salty I literally drank 4 glasses of water while I was there. It was like the mahi was coated in a layer of salt. I sent that back so dissapointed."

  • "A tranquil reflecting pool divides the tables and beautiful vibrant colors with soft lighting provides a wonderful atmosphere. The food was fun and delicious, we sampled two appetizers and three entrees. The staff was attentive while unobtrusive. We enjoyed our lunch immensely. Parking was free when validated. We would recommend this restaurant for any special occasion, or just a nice lunch while on vacation. Priced fairly."

  • "We were on vacation in Orlando and had a wonderful meal at Choup Chop. Everything was amazing. the staff was top notch and treated us like we were the only ones there. The meal started with a complimentary appetizer from the chef. Ours was a delightful meat roll and was really delicious. The meal was one tasty course after another and everything was prepared, served, and consumed with joy. Our server was so helpful, informative and delightful that he just made a wonderful experience even better. This meal was a definite highlight of our time in the Orlando area."

  • "We didn't hate it, but it just didn't WOW us. I think the biggest problem we had between the three of us who went was seasoning inconsistencies. I had the Snapper dish, and it was good, I liked it, but one bite would be really salty and the next would be very bland, and that was the theme with all of our plates. Of the three of us, I was the only one who said I would go back and try it again."

Drinks were fantastic, the surroundings are beautiful... the food just lacked some punch - no big flavors. The bulgogi was basically little meat cubes on a stick with little flavor. The special raw scallops were terrific, so again, do your best to pick the 'hits' and not the misses."

The quality of the food is better than ever, and except for a miscue at the dessert round (20+ min delay and then they figured out that they lost the ticket) everything was great. My son has a nut allergy and they handled everything with the greatest of ease. Even the wine by the glass menu was impressive. I will return to Tchoup Chop the next time I'm in town."

Staff were superb, kevin I believe his name was, him and all the staff made our special day even more so. Food was to dye for, all of 6 of us were pleasantly surprised how each dish was so delicious and the mix of flavours in them. Also thr portions are very generous, on both occasions we took the rest home with us. It really did make our day. We dined again on our last night in orlando just the 2 of us, and again couldn't fault it. Superb team and superb food."

  • "I was very disappointed with our dinner at Tchoup Chop. We made the reservation over a week in advance. When we arrived there were several open tables. We were seated right by the front door. It was a very windy day so every time the door would open a blast of air, leaves, dirt, etc would blow on us and our table. We asked to be moved further away to one of the many open tables. We were moved but the hostess acted like we were a hassle and our waiter was mad. We were moved to an area with a different waiter but he also treated us poorly. Service was terrible. The food was just OK. Nothing special. Also - the restaurant was over half empty the entire evening we were there. So, being moved should not have been an issue."

  • "Nice atmosphere, but the food and service was fair at best. I expected better service and food from what the ambience might suggest. The server did a little to explain the menu other than recommend two dishes from the entree list. Perhaps he was having an off night, but the service left a lot to be desired. It wasn't bad service, mind you, but it was more along the lines of someone who was tired after a very long evening. With that said, our reservation time was 30 minutes after the dining room opened for dinner. The food as was mentioned previously was fair. The steak temperature wasn't what I had ordered and it was salty. Very salty. The sushi we ordered was not as we were advised by the server. We were told 8, but got 6."

The good was also reasonably priced! It may have been just an off night but the service was horrible. I saw the manager chewing out multiple waiters at least 3 times through our dinner. They had multiple waiters for each table when they were obviously under staffed. It took 20 minutes to get a refill of coke. I could never get our waiter's attention. I left feeling like they could care less if I ever came back. Would I go again? Probably not. There's plenty of competition near by. I don't think I've had worse service ever. At least the food was good."

  • "This is my first visit to an Emeril restaurant. Having watched his shows through the years I have always wanted to give one of his restaurants a try. So, the opportunity arose during a recent spring break vacation with my daughter in Orlando. We had a mussel appetizer - steamed inside an aluminum foil balloon with some spices and lemon - and it was fantastic. My only beef is that they only gave us each a thin slice of toasted bread for sopping up the sauce which was very delicious. My daughter's grilled pork chop was on the salty side and my snapper dish was rather chewy (for a fish dish) and lacking in taste. Overall the taste was average perhaps because of my high expectations based on what I have imagined Emeril's food should taste like."

  • "i had seen Tchoup Chop on the Cooking channel the weekend before and was excited to go there. Our reservation was early at 6:30 and the restaurant was relatively empty. Our waiter seemed a little disorganized. The food was not what I have experienced at any Emeril restaurant. It was bland, over sauced and hurried. The salmon was overcooked, the noodle seafood soup was bland and unimpressive. I have to say I'm disappointed in the overall experience and is not what I expected from an Emeril restaurant."
