A word from Emeril's Restaurant Orlando
Emeril's Orlando encompasses everything that Emeril stands for - high energy, bold exciting flavors & a memorable experience. Chef Emeril Lagasse's fifth restaurant, Emeril's Restaurant Orlando, is a fitting addition to the line-up at Universal CityWalk. Upon entering the restaurant your eyes take you on a ride up the metal staircase, across the Gertjejansen artwork, down the wall of wine, over the Ochsner portrait & stopping for a moment at the food bar. By this time the staff greets you with the warmth of a welcome home. A drink at the bar, maybe a classic New Orleans cocktail to start & then you are seated. The dining room bustles with energy with a view of the chef & the brilliance in the kitchen. Although walk-ins can be accommodated, reservations are highly recommended. Our dress policy is casual, but no sleeveless shirts for gentleman & boys. Gabriel Orozco, General Manager, is dedicated to providing you with that memorable dinner.

We had always wanted to dine at Emeril's at City Walk and had only been there prior for appetizers and drinks. So, we started dinner with the appetizer and drink specials, which were delicious and a good deal. Our dinner was pleasant, the appetizer's were again delicious. The entree was acceptable but I was disappointed in the flavor of the sauce for my salmon. Overall it was a good experience, although I was very unhappy that the reservation did not alert us to the $17 parking fee upon entering the Universal parking garage.

We went because of the Magical Dining Orlando promotion. My husband ordered the salmon which he said came out great, I wasn't happy with the three options on the MD list so I ordered the scallops and shrimp off the regular menu. For $31 I received a bed of butternut squash, grilled brussel sprouts, 4 shrimp and 2 scallops. The sprouts had more flavor than anything else on the plate but I was not impressed overall. They gave us a shrimp wonton before dinner which was amazing, best thing I tasted all night, the ceviche was great, the flancocho was to die for, the barbecue shrimp was unimpressive, as was the banana cake. It was good but lacked something. Ambiance was romantic, our waiter was wonderful. Was not good enough to go back though.

The overall place was very nice. Not easy to get to. It is at city walk at universal in Orlando. My husband has the chief choice and enjoyed the varity of the different dishes. I has the shrimp and pasta. I did not care for it. The flavors were not good to me. I ate the shrimp and left the rest. The service was excellent and the dinning area we were in was very nice. We any had 3 tables for 2. So it was quiet.

I've been to this restaurant multiple times. Food and service is always top notch. The main dining area is a bit loud, which makes a private conversation difficult. There are a few other areas to dine, which should be requested if noise level is any concern to you.

We went for Orlando's Magical Dining. This was our first time and we thought the food on the menu for this magical dining were specials for the event. We didn't realize it was options on the regular menu but at a discounted price. The food was not that special nor very tasty. You truly do pay for the name when you go to an Emerils restaurant rather than great food. We sat in the patio area which just echoes all the voices and was so horribly loud at times. Service was great. Everyone kept on top of drinks and clearing your dishes when you were done. Everyone was also very polite.

Lovely seat overlooking CityWalk! My friends and I really enjoyed the food and drinks, but the server managed to provide service poor enough to make me us not want to go back. In fairness, some of the other tables appeared to have a better service experience.

Emeril's is a great to place to eat after you've spent the day at Universal. It's convenient and it's a real restaurant. We were looking forward to a relaxing dinner after our 10-hour day, so we immediately let our serving team know that we wanted leisurely service. The rolls were delicious and we asked for many refills. Our dining deal during Magical Dining (Sept.) was great. It was a wonderful way to try the restaurant out. If you show your Universal ticket and order an entre off the regular menu, you get any appetizer or dessert for free (my husband's crab cake special at about $13 was a real bargain and he said it was delicious).

    Anniversary
    Dined on 9/13/2014
We go to Emeril's at Citiwalk every year for our Anniversary. This year we were a little disappointed in the food and service. Also this year they didn't do anything special for our Anniversary. In prior years they gave us an additional appetizer to share and a special Happy Anniversay dessert to share. The staff knew it was our Anniversary as they all greated us with "Happy Anniversary" so it's not like they didn't know. Every year we sit upstairs in the Cigar Room but this year they seated us on the patio. The Cigar Room is much more intimate and the service is much much better. We'll probably still go there again but if the next visit is on the same level - we won't be dining at Emeril's any longer.

I went to Emeril's for dinner as part of an evening out. The service was good, but for this restaurant, I had to give it a "good" rating, b/c they were a bit slow. The waitstaff was knowledgeable and attentive, but just a little slower than usual. The food was outstanding, as was the ambiance of the place. I was my own dinner date, but this place is a great date night place. I'll definitely be going back soon

We were excited for weeks to go... get there and our waiter did not greet us for 15 mins once greeted we were rushed to decide. Apps were cold and not well seasoned... The main dishes we ordered the salmon was very under cooked and quality was not acceptable. . The chicken was not plated well just thrown together. . Basically BBQ chicken with bottled sauce u can tell.. over greasy potatoes. . And they were also cold... i spent over $100 for food I would expect from a low grade truck stop... I will never go to the restaurant again and make it known to everyone how bad of a rip off Emerils is... STAY AWAY!!!!

We participated in the Magical Dining with another couple and all of us were very impressed with the menu choices. We gave top points to the Cevieche (and we are picky on that) I had the steamed mussels and the others had Salmon and we all were impressed. The wine picks were great with our entrees. The deserts (bread pudding & Flan) were very good and not too big. We really enjoyed trying a new place and were willing to put up with being stuffed as we left. Thank You!

This was not our first visit and won't be our last. The food is always prepared 'as you like it' and the menu has something for every taste. The service is attentive and not pushy, and there just isn't anything to complain about - unless some family decides to share their screaming child with the neighbors, but that is why the restaurant has more than one table.... All in all, it was another great experience and worth every penny - and it takes lots of pennies, so plan on that part too.

My husband and I had dinner here on our last night during our Anniversary trip to Orlando. He ordered the Pad Thai and was a bit disappointed as he's had better at local Vietnamese places. I LOVED the pork chop with grits, absolutely delicious. The bread they serve was wonderful; my husband loved the rolls while I loved the cornbread muffins. Our desserts were just okay. The creme brulee was pretty good. Not smitten by their famous banana cream pie. The cream tasted like it had way too much flour in it, and wasn't very sweet. Odd since it's supposed to be a dessert. There's a large number of restaurants in the area, so probably won't come back here again on future trips. It was very loud inside the restaurant, but the service was top notch!

We had lunch celebrating my daughter's 17th birthday. It was cool and relaxing sipping iced tea while watching people passing by in the blazing sun. We shared the Tuna Lettace Wraps and I loved the spiciness from the jalapeño pepper with the avocado pozu. We both had the Brazilian Seafood Stew and enjoyed the dish very much. We received the yummy chocolate lava cake parfait as the free birthday dessert. The banana cream on top was light and refreshing. Service was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our first meal very much and will definitely visit again!

We had a special dinner planned for Emeril's. Unfortunately, the service was very slow, and the food was poor. 16 oz ribeye was tough and the sauce tasted terrible. Even managed to make pizza with prosciutto that tasted bad. Expensive dinner, frustratingly slow service. This is the second disappointing dining experience at this Emeril's. Would not recommend.

I didn't like the big open area to the kitchen because at my table I constantly saw people working to get food out and supervisors directing staff. They should work to make the atmosphere more tranquil. Very good but not great.
