A word from Emeril's Restaurant Orlando
Emeril's Orlando encompasses everything that Emeril stands for - high energy, bold exciting flavors & a memorable experience. Chef Emeril Lagasse's fifth restaurant, Emeril's Restaurant Orlando, is a fitting addition to the line-up at Universal CityWalk. Upon entering the restaurant your eyes take you on a ride up the metal staircase, across the Gertjejansen artwork, down the wall of wine, over the Ochsner portrait & stopping for a moment at the food bar. By this time the staff greets you with the warmth of a welcome home. A drink at the bar, maybe a classic New Orleans cocktail to start & then you are seated. The dining room bustles with energy with a view of the chef & the brilliance in the kitchen. Although walk-ins can be accommodated, reservations are highly recommended. Our dress policy is casual, but no sleeveless shirts for gentleman & boys. Gabriel Orozco, General Manager, is dedicated to providing you with that memorable dinner.Continued

  • "This is truly a fantastic restaurant despite its location right in Universal Walk. Food was great, wine list extensive and service equally impressive. A must visit when in Orlando."

  • "As with every visit we have made to Emeril's, it was over the top. It is by far our favorite restaurant in Orlando."

  • "I appreciate that they serve lunch until 2pm on Fridays. We love the new lunch menu. We love the drinks and the bartenders too."

  • "I enjoyed dining at Emeril's. I have been a fan of his for mauy years - first visit to restaurant! I decided to try a variety of appetizers and salad. Everything was delicious - especially the asparagus!"

  • "We wanted to have a special dinner while on vacation at Universal, and Emeril's was perfect. Our server, Miguel, took wonderful care of us. The food was unique and so flavorful. My 14 and 11 year olds had no problem devouring the New York strip (despite the fact that it was huge, they did not split one). Miguel went so far as to cut the steaks for them, showing them the best way to avoid fatty parts, etc. To top it all off, he took us for a tour of the kitchen and introduced us to the chef. We will definitely be back whenever we are anywhere near Orlando."

  • "We thought that with emerils name on the door the experience would be great. In retrospect we would have gone elsewhere mainly because things were not at the level we would have hoped. First. Dirty service plates. The waiter commented that they are "only service plates" but who wants to look at greasy finger marks all over their plate. Husband ordered a bowl of soup got a cup. My gumbo was salty. His dinner of tilapia was two little fillets less than 4 inches long. Don't think it was tilapia. Much smaller than my snapper which was pretty good but also pretty salty. Daughters steak was good. Other daughters salmon was good. Not worth $250."

  • "For fine dinning I would expect better quality food. Paid over $ 30 for the New York Strip that was at least 40 % fat. I understand " Fat" adds flavor but I can go to Outback and get a better steak. Loved the tomato and mozzarella appetizer."

  • "With Emerils name on the door, my expectations were very high and they were met. Modest selection of food, yet everything we tried was excellent. Unbelievable wine list as well. The service was also outstanding. (For example my son accidentally broke a wine glass and within 10 seconds we had 5 people at our table that had cleaned it up and already taken him to the restroom to clean up. We were also immediately moved to another table while they finished the clean up.). In a sea of cookie cutter chain-like restaurants, this is by far the stand of at Universals City Walk."

  • "Phenomenal in all aspects....service, food, etc! It was a great dining experience! I wuld highly recommend it."

  • "The food and service was top notch. The only complaint we have was our seating arrangements we were a table of two seated beside an 8 top. The more they drank the harder it was for my wife and I to enjoy our experience at Emerils. We had an opportunity many years ago to eat here but were unable to keep our plans. It took us twelve years for another opportunity and it was wonderful."

  • "I took my new wife there for dinner. Had a great steak and my wife had a superb pork chop.....the food was fantastic and the service was excellent. I will be back and recommend it to all my friends."

  • "Stopped by Emeril's at Universal for a midday lunch stop. Great cool place to relax after pounding the pavement at Universal Orlando. Lunch very reasonably priced. Our family had the seafood stew, maple and garlic glazed chicken, and the cheeseburger collectively. All food was very good, and their daily special includes an appetizer or dessert with an entree ( one offer per table). We got the banana cream pie and it was phenomenal!!! The only downside was a bit of a wait between ordering and delivery of the entrees. The staff kept us well stocked on their tasty little rolls and cornbread pieces while we waited. Highly recommend to those wanting a relaxing lunch stop and a meal with options for real food-- not the usual theme park fare."

  • "We have visited this restaurant many times on vaca. Very inconsistent! Last time we had a nice dinner....yesterday we were disappointed from the nasty hostess to the fair food...this restaurant can be easily passed up!!! Two bad experiences out of the last six visits and for that kind of money that's unacceptable!!"

  • "I chose Emerils bases on no previous experience for my three year anniversary. The server was very nice and knew the specifics to each item on the menu. We were extremely satisfied with the food from begining to end. We did not wait long at all from course to course and all in all was a great experience."

  • "This is my second time at Emeril's Orlando and honestly, the restaurant never disappoints. The food nor the service ever slacks. My parents have been more times than I have and they say the same. I am from NYC and I typically go to this restaurant for a fine dining experience when I am in Orlando, Florida. I only have a few small comments, the service seemed to get a little less attentive toward the end of my party's meal. At one point we had to physically flag down a server for a request. Also, it was a little louder than I am used to the restaurant being; there seemed to be a lot of children there on this particular night (I mean it IS located in Universal City Walk). Otherwise, great experience!"

  • "My daughter took me to celebrate my 60th birthday. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Not stuffy at all. The good was excellent as was the service. I plan to visit some of your other locations. I would definitely recommend Your location."

  • "I would highly recommend Emeril's. Our waiter Alan gave exceptional service and the scallops, bbq shrimp, fried shrimp and apple cider pork ham chop were delicious."

  • "The food was fine but the servers were a mess. Delays, squabbles on the dining floor. The dining room was poorly managed."

  • "After dinner, my girl was putty in my hands. Thanks for a very memorable evening. I didn't care for the gumbo, but the robe year was worth it's weight in gold. Thanks E."

  • "The attention by the staff was remarkable. The food was excellent. The timing of the several food choices was perfect. We ordered several menu items and split them . The staff had the items split on the plates for us to share. When we were ready to leave it was pouring down rain. The staff gave us rain ponchos to wear so we did not get soaked. Highly recommend as a must go to restaurant"

  • "We went to Emeril's for dinner and did the chef's tasting menu and it was absolutely delicious. Perfect amount of food, the course were well spaced out (for the most part... Would've liked a few more minutes), and the service was great."

  • "We had eaten at Emeril's at Citywalk years ago and we had a great experience. The menu was very limited and the good was mediocre at best!"

  • "When I made the reservations I made it a point it was my husband 50th birthday. I requested a dessert and singing. Nothing was accomplish. I don't know if I would return for a special occasion. The server was very nice."

  • "Finally tried Emeril's and it was outstanding. The portions were large - everything was served hot, fresh, and delicious. The banana cream pie was "crazy good"."

  • "Unbeknownst to me when I made reservations, my husband had been told the restaurant wasn't great. So I went in with an unbiased opinion. Service began well but was inconsistent. Items ordered were forgotten. Didn't proactively refill our beverages. Risotto stale, don't order the veggie pasta."

  • "Waiter was friendly but not helpful. Ordered drinks and wine when we sat down and it was served only minutes before our appetizers. We ordered wine to go with the entrees and it was not served until we asked a third time. By then we had finished the meal. We had been looking forward to dinner at Emeril's and the food was very good. When we complained to the manager he comped one glass of wine. We had three waiters and were disappointed with the lack of service/attention. Had dinner at Tchoup chop a few days before and the food as well as the service was wonderful."

  • "When you go to a restaurant that belongs to a very famous chef, you expect great flavors, but this was not the case, it was nothing that I try that I said I love it, nothing nothing, I won't come back, it's good for turist a guess"
    Dined on 7/3/2014
  • "The appetizers were excellent. The " filet mignon" was not a filet mignon. It tasted like tenderizer and was cold. The "short ribs" was actually a pot roast. The red snapper was OK. Had to ask for wine list twice, but we seemed to have a few different waiters."

  • "During our stay at Universal Studios, I wanted to take my son (9) for a decent meal after 2 days of park food. The food was very good and the kids menu was better than most places. I had the BBQ shrimp appetizer - delicious and a Filet Mignon cooked perfectly but was a little dry still. Services was plentiful although a little robotic - not much personality amongst 4 or 5 different people who attended our table. I guess with park visitors they don't really try to connect with the transient visitor. That would be my only complaint though. Good experience overall."

  • "We ordered the chef's tasting menu. The food was terrible. It was not thought out, or cooked well. The fish crust was falling off, steak was overcooked, and the flavors were just okay. The server was horrible. The only thing she asked the entire night was are you okay. For a $240 meal for 2, I would expect the server to be more responsive and proactive. The support staff was great, however when my wife had taken one bite of steak, the server assistant asked if it was okay as he took it away. We told him it was overcooked, and he responded with "That happens sometimes." No manager visit or apology. I would not waste your money here."

  • "For the price, my partner and I were expecting quite a bit more, especially with respect to the food. She had to choke down the scallops, and my fish was remarkably underwhelming. The wine came well after the appitizer, (it seems they forgot about it) and after a long spell with an empty glass, I ended up getting up, walking to the ice bucket and filling my own glass. It really felt like fast food level qusine that they/you just tried to dress up fancy. Ive had MUCH better food at the complex for1/4 the price, with better atmosphere overall. Very dissapointing experience. Would not reccomend."

  • "I ordered a salmon the portion was very small and it was too dry, when I ordered this entree, the waiter reminded me that it is prepared medium which I responded with that is exactly how I wanted it. When I got the food, the salmon was very dry. They were quick to replace it and also offered a little shrimp appetizer for the mishap. They were responsive, I wish that they didn't mess up a simple dish. We ended up with hardly any time to walk around the Univ City Walk before our Blue Man Group show that evening."

  • "Emeril's had delicious food overall. I had the tasting menu which offered some diverse items to try. The steak entree was good, yet my husband, who had the same steak as I did as a single entree paid a very high price! If you go, order the tasting menu! It's also quite noisy during dinner, so don't expect a quiet romantic ambiance, if that's what you have in mind."

  • "Decent food and good service. If you want to have more than just fast food around Universal Orlando. This is a higher end restaurant to try."

  • "I have waited a long time to go to Emeril's and my first chance was in Orlando when we visited Universal Studios. I was definitely not disappointed by any facet of this restaurant! We started the meal with sorbet that Michael especially arranged for us due to the extreme heat. Our drink glasses never went empty, but better than that the meal was stupendous. I had a veggie burger and it was the best I've ever had. My 12-yr. old culinary driven son had a chipotle pulled pork with sweet potato fries and he said it was phenomenal! My brother enjoyed his Andouey crusted trout; however, he said he would've picked my son's if he had to choose again. The meal was topped with with an amazing creme' brulee that was a special treat due."
