A word from Emeril's Restaurant
From its first day, Emeril's Restaurant & the multitalented man who reinvents it with every meal became the focus of ecstatic praise. A decade after Emeril's Restaurant exploded onto the culinary scene, Emeril's has evolved & transformed itself for the 21st century by updating its flagship restaurant. Completed in 2000, the innovative details reflect the significance of the warehouse district location, new New Orleans cuisine & Emeril’s extensive wine list. The Food Bar is framed by a tapestry of glass encased spices showcasing the bold & creative flavors that Chef Emeril features. Emeril's state of the art kitchen is visible from the main dining room. Although walk-ins can be accommodated, reservations are highly recommended. Our dress policy is casual with no sleeveless shirts for men, no hats or flip flops. David Slater, Chef de Cuisine, and Kevin Delaune, General Manager, are dedicated to providing you with that memorable dining experience.Continued

  • "Emeril's is a wonderful experience with great food, unbelievable service and an energetic ambience."

  • "And I was already expecting a lot! The flavors were exquisite and the service was impeccable."

  • "I expected much more at Emerils. The cocktails were excellent as were the service and facility. The food was OK. It wasn't bad or extremely good; just average. I ordered the special for dessert, a chocolate strawberry shortcake. It was so incredibly dry that I couldn't finish despite the chocolate and something else that was sauce-like."

  • "Emeril Lagasse has always been one of my "food heroes," so when I had the opportunity to visit his restaurant, I jumped at the chance. And this restaurant does NOT disappoint! Be sure to try the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie; it is exquisite!!!!"

  • "Crowded lobby but once seated we were in a relaxed, pleasant environment. Service and food were excellent. Not the typical celebrity chef/tourist trap I feared. I was a fine dining waiter years ago and with that said I am always critiquing the service. No complaints. We had 9:30 dinner reservations so I expected to be rushed through our meal but that wasn't the case. The check was surprisingly reasonable also. Was the highlight of my weekend in New Orleans."

  • "The service was outstanding! Everyone went out of there way to make us feel special! All of the food was delicious! Especially the desserts! (Chocolate PB Pie and that pudding in a cup)! The atmosphere was lively, and everyone seemed to be having a great time!"

  • "From the moment you arrive at Emerald's, you know you are someone special. Upon arriving at your table the outstanding attention to you and your dining desires begins. The staff is knowledge of the offerings with spot on suggestions for all courses that evening. If you want to experience a true culinary delight, Emeril's is the perfect location. Enjoy!"

  • "Waited 20 minutes for reservation. Waiter misunderstood my order. By the time my dish arrived, everyone else was finished. Mine was not worth the wait. 2 of 4 pieces of steak were all fat. Not worth what they charged. Would not go back. Better places in New Orleans."

  • "This was some of the best food I ate in New Orleans. Emeril definitely comes by his reputation honestly. I'm still dreaming of the boudin appetizer. I will definitely be back next time I'm in New Orleans."

  • "We went with a party of four for my sister's birthday. The customer service was excellent and were very friendly. The servers were very kind, welcoming and made my sister's birthday very special. The food was great. The appetizers and entrees came out quickly and we all were greatly satisfied with our meals. I ordered the Petit filet and frites which was very tender and well seasoned and I would recommend it to anyone. Finally, the ambience was very nice. The lighting and décor was amazing and very welcoming. I would recommend this restaurant for any special occasion or romantic dinner."

  • "We savored every bite from the trio of breads to the last bite of our entre. The pork chop with tamarind glaze and green child mole was terrific. A wonderful balance with the sweet potatoes."

  • "Yes, I am a foodie and watch a lot of food shows on TV. So when I realized I had to go to New Orleans, I wanted to go to Emeril's restaurant. Great food with a variety of options. Attentive waiters. Extensive wine list. I had the drum fish. I didn't even know what drum fish was. It was prepared with delightful claviers and textures."

  • "We've eaten at Emeril's other restaurants in New Orleans and elsewhere. This was the first time at Emeril's and it did not disappoint. Seated promptly, served attentively, great wine list, and an outstanding and memorable meal."

  • "Incredible, beginning to end. Ordered the mussels to start and asked the sommelier to recommend a wine...CHAMPAGNE!!! I was blown away, having never thought that Champagne would be a good pairing. It turns out it wasn't a good pairing, it was perfect! Too bad many of you won't have a chance to meet this boy wonder (the sommelier was only 28), he's being promoted and shipped to a different location. Congrats to him and well deserved. Had the pork chop and refused to stop until it was finished (at a certain point, I was just eating so as not to regret, at a later time, not having another bite). Service was impeccable. Bradley, our server, was attentive but not overbearing. I WILL be going back every time I'm in NOLA."

  • "Waiting on our table, I was somewhat disappointed in the bar table service(none). Once seated I could not have ask for a more perfect meal . Great service, great food and a great atmosphere. I can't wait to try it again and ask for reservations at the Chef's Food Bar that overlooks the kitchen."

  • "We walked over from the French Quarter and wish we had stayed put. The service was slow, the food took 40 minutes to arrive and we had the pleasure to sit next to a group of 12 that all had to talk at a level so everyone at the table could hear each other. Nothing like having a quiet lunch with 12 strangers who we didn't care to hear their conversations. The food was nothing to write positive reviews about except if they could have cooked the steak correct after two tries it may have been different. We had looked forward to eating here all week and were very disappointed."

  • "We decided to go for lunch because our son has been a fan of Emeril's and for Spring break we took a jaunt to New Orleans. I knew we would be there with all the tourists. Our experience was 1st rate."

  • "Some friends recommended Emeril's restaurant, so we decided to go for our belated anniversary dinner. We had the angel hair pasta with crawfish and wild mushrooms, a bowl of gumbo, and the double-cut pork chop for dinner, then the chocolate mousse tart for dessert. Everything was delicious, though the crust on the tart was dry and difficult to eat with a spoon. It was too thick to break with the spoon."

  • "While visiting in New Orleans top on our list was a visit to one of the Emeril's restaurants. We found out we could enjoy lunch here on a Tuesday and we were so pleased. Everyone working there was so professional and friendly. We had never been to a restaurant where every detail from the table setting, delivery of the food, presentation of the food, and clearing the table was impeccable. Our food was the tastiest -- to die for!! It was delightful!! We would highly recommend this restaurant."

  • "ALL of the food was excellent!!! We shared 2 appetizers, the crawfish angel hair pasta. The flavors were amazing and it was a perfect portion for a lunch meal. Everyone LOVED the Barbeque Shrimp...DELICIOUS! Mu husbands Filet was grilled to perfection and the broccoli and fries were well seasoned. Our friends creole burger was HUGE and he loved it. We ere so full, we didn't get to the desserts, but plan to return to try the Key Lime Pie and the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie. The warehouse district decor was very nice, copper, metal, exposed brick...Very cool place all around! Can't wait to return."

  • "Nola was on the bucket list and I insisted on one of emerils restaurants and was not disappointed. We arrived early and given the choice to be seated at the bar in front of the kitchen or wait for our reserved time. We chose the bar and were so glad we did. The food preparation was so entertaining and educational. We were delighted! The food was great! Would recommend it to everyone!"

  • "Fashionably modern and elegant dining room and bar. The kitchen was easily visible from the dining area, an added plus to the experience. Dining room was overly noisy; this was the only drawback to a top restaurant. Service was very attentive, visible and helpful. Wine selection was suggested by the waiter. Menu selections were creative, very representative of local cuisine and food was artfully presented. Andouille drum was light and flavorful, and the salmon with sweet barbecue sauce was nicely balanced. Upside down pecan whiskey cake and chocolate sambuca mousse were both excellent."

  • "My boyfriend and I enjoy our lunch at Emeril's new orleans. I have the pear flower drink to start with and it was like candy. I got the swordfish which was so great and My boyfriend got the burger which has really good too. The add a lot of spices that burst into your mouth! They had an extra of the nero pasta and they brought it to our table. This was absolutely wonderful! The buttery sauce is so good. The sauce for the BBQ shrimps is also crazy! you need to try those. The wine selections is almost too big! so many choices! I We had a good time and the food was great!"

  • "I had a fantastic meal with clients here more than 20 years ago and while the food was amazing, the staff and the organization was even better. 20 years later and they still have it, clearly a credit to the management and the creativity coming out of the kitchen. Our waiter, Jeffrey, was the perfect mix of service. He was there a split second before you realized you needed him, had the right suggestions and timing, and his team moved in unison with him. Having managed teams of butlers and wait staff I was really impressed with the overall experience. The food was amazing, the mussel starter, which we typically use as our first impression of a restaurant, was world class. If we lived in New Orleans this would be a regular spot for us. Thanks"

  • "Food was good, but not great. Service was good, again - not great. We asked for a Sommelier and were told he was off that night (surprising for a Thursday). We asked for extra bread, took a very long time - had to ask again. Ambience was nice, but it was too loud to have a conversation at the table. Overall I was unimpressed. Maybe because I had built my hopes up given the name of the Restaurant..."

  • "We were so impressed by smooth, almost choreographed, yet personable wait staff and their work. Each member had his (there weren't any women at work on our day there) job to do, unobtrusively, yet cordially. They were attentive but not "hover-y." Then the food.... It was wonderful! We had a calimari appetizer that whas so crispy it just exploded in your mouth, Emeril's sadad was loaded with a variety of flavors and textures. The swordfish sandwich was beautifully done with toppingst hat were spicy and flavorful. Emeril's banana cream pie is not to be missed! Nearly 5" tall, with whipped cream, chocolate peelings, layers of fresh bananas, and a delicate graham cracker crust. We had such a good time there!"
