Completed in 2000, the innovative details reflect the significance of the warehouse district location, new New Orleans cuisine & Emeril’s extensive wine list. The Food Bar is framed by a tapestry of glass encased spices showcasing the bold & creative flavors that Chef Emeril features. Emeril's state of the art kitchen is visible from the main dining room. Although walk-ins can be accommodated, reservations are highly recommended. Our dress policy is casual with no sleeveless shirts for men, no hats or flip flops.   • "First got sent to the bar. Ok, no problem. Don't love that scene, but we can deal with that. Waiter came up to shake our hands at beginning of evening, couldn't be nicer. Then we waited. I can't tell you how many times we were asked if we wanted another drink. Another drink? Another drink? No food for so long! And the wait staff averted their eyes when they approached our table...I guess we looked hungry...and they didn't serve us for 45 minutes to one hour. On a good note, the food was amazing. I would go back, but not sure I could drag my spouse back. I am disappointed as the food was so good I'd love to return; the lousy service (not the waiter's fault...clearly the kitchen's fault) we will likely go elsewhere next time"

Fancy dining, Wonderful staff, they were kind to my 6 year old who kept dropping her napkin d/t her silky dress and they kept replacing it, plus they were flexible with making a meal especially for her.   • "We enjoyed our meal on August 15th at 6:15. However, we were disappointed that you did not send our son's request for congratulations on our 50th Wedding Anniversary to our table. He called you from Chattanooga TN requesting that you transfer the price of our meal to him when we arrived. He asked that you call him back when we arrived. You did not call so he called back, however, it was after we had already left the restaurant. He was disappointed and so were we. We had the Jazz Brunch at Commander's Palace the next day. Much more attention was given to our special celebration there."

After dining there for lunch this week, I wondered why I've waited so long to come back! The prices are VERY reasonable for such an overall exceptional dining experience. The food, the staff, the presentation, the value - all very impressive. And, hey, it's EMERIL'S! Who doesn't love the guy? Also, you're doing yourself a huge disservice if pass up the Banana Cream Pie for dessert!"

  • "We had a very good dining experience. All the food was nicely prepared and attractively presented, and service was very good. My wife started with gumbo which she thought was outstanding. I liked her salmon more than she did, but both thought it good. My corn chowder was a hit, and my swordfish was perfectly cooked, if a bit small portion. Great drinks and an excellent but huge and somewhat overwhelming wine list. Not the best meal we had in NOLA, but a very good one."

  • "The food was good, not great, good. The Kale salad, the flavors were right on but the kale centers were bitter and HARD. The Swordfish was a great piece of "meat" it was thick and moist! The Gumbo was tasty. My husband had the Andouille Encrusted Drum, good but should only be eaten by persons who want their fish to have no flavor (not knocking the way the dish was prepared, just sharing that the drum seems to be a super mild fish). But the desserts made us swoon, I had the Chocolate Hazelnut Flan, Woozier!!! He had the banana cream pie, he said it was WOW! The service was spectacular, nice southern hospitality was felt from the moment we pulled up, to the moment we walked out!"

  • "What makes a restaurant great? To me it's the experience if all the senses, sights, sounds, taste and smells. Emeril's offers all of these things with attentive service, great food, wine, presentation and at a pretty reasonable price. I had the stuffed quail that was prepared perfectly. Succulent and moist there were so many good flavors you want hold it in your mouth like a fine wine. I forgot to mention the BBQ shrimp appetizer that is always great at any if Emeril's Restaurants. The Ravena Pinot Noir paired well with the Quail and the BBQ shrimp. Dessert was peanut butter chocolate pie and a shot of expresso. I have never been disappointed at any of Emeril's establishments."

And please, let me tell you about the andouille crusted drum. It was ridiculous. I have never tasted such savory, interesting, satisfying flavors in a fish. The crust was light, and the fish tender. The shoestring potatoes on top were perfection. I honestly don't think you should live a life without trying this fish.And dessert- the banana cream pie.It was creamy, not too sweet, with the best essence of banana flavor. It changed my dessert life. I am now obsessed with banana cream pie. Go to Emeril's ASAP. They really know what they are doing. And ask for Nathan!!"

  • "Had not been to Ermerils's NOLA in over 10 years. The room was jumping and energetic but not overly so. I had Buccatini with shrimp and it would not have been better prepared and presented. Exceptional, fresh, flavorful. The staff was attentive and the wine list is off the charts. We ordered a 1998 Guigal Chateau D'Ampuis, and it was carefully presented and decanted without undue pretense. Loved it. An outstanding experience overall."

When the entrees came an hour and a quarter later, my fish was luke warm if that. The manager brought me a new one but my hubby was done with his dinner. The manager blamed the delay on a party of sixteen. He paid for our entrees, which was good because we were pretty aggravated."

All were very knowledgeable about the menu especially Ryan who was able to describe the dishes we asked about in detail. He made a recommendation to one member of our party who ended up loving the entrée suggested,salmon.We also had the pork chop, and the fried chicken for 2, awesome. Everything ordered was delivered at a perfect pace and all was delicious. All of the staff that tended to our table made the experience pleasurable. One negative, the wine sommelier Ray interrupted the servers tending to diners(our table included), gesturing rudely for them to move,unprofessional"
