A word from Emeril's Restaurant
From its first day, Emeril's Restaurant & the multitalented man who reinvents it with every meal became the focus of ecstatic praise. A decade after Emeril's Restaurant exploded onto the culinary scene, Emeril's has evolved & transformed itself for the 21st century by updating its flagship restaurant. Completed in 2000, the innovative details reflect the significance of the warehouse district location, new New Orleans cuisine & Emeril’s extensive wine list. The Food Bar is framed by a tapestry of glass encased spices showcasing the bold & creative flavors that Chef Emeril features. Emeril's state of the art kitchen is visible from the main dining room. Although walk-ins can be accommodated, reservations are highly recommended. Our dress policy is casual with no sleeveless shirts for men, no hats or flip flops. David Slater, Chef de Cuisine, and Kevin Delaune, General Manager, are dedicated to providing you with that memorable dining experience.Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "My husband and I don't make a lot of money. If we spend $120.00 on dinner we expect to have a great meal. Customer service was outstanding and the highlight of our experience. I must say our Florida experience at Emeril's several years back was amazing. What a let down!!"

  • "We had a great reception when we walked in even though we were early. Our wait or "Herman" was awesome and was helpful with our 5 year Olds choices"

  • "There were only 6 of us in our group and we had 3 servers. Highly attentive to our every need and want. The food was likely the best I have had anywhere and I travel a lot. Will definitely return to Emerils."

  • "Wonderful experience. Delightful dining as expected at Emeril's namesake restaurant. Wine list was superb. The pork chop was perfectly prepared and presented. Enjoyed Emeril's barbecued shrimp and the chocolate peanut butter pie that the server recommended. Even the bread was special and unique. Great time."

  • "So good, we went there twice for dinner during our 5-day trip! Outstanding menu and wine selection. Young and talented staff attending to our every need. Loved the Fried Chicken for two - what a fantastic presentation! Love this place."

  • "Treated my partners to Emeril's, one of my all-time favorites. The stuffed redfish was spectacular. The drum in a dark meuniere sauce with shoestring potatoes was the best I've ever had. An extensive wine list made the decision tough. The star of the meal was the service provided by a trio led by Dale. They knew the menu backwards and forwards, expertly describing ingredients and preparation styles. There are some fantastic dining options in NOLA that rival that of any major cuisine city. But Emeril's continues to provide a creative menu prepared by a kitchen and served by a staff that make it a very memorable meal every time. Kudo's to Kevin Delaune (GM) for putting together a fine team that delivers a wonderful total experience."

  • "This place exceeded my expectations. I was impressed with the professionalism and attentiveness of staff starting with the valet to the servers. I will definitely visit more than once."

  • "The evening started with attentive and social bartenders. The complimentary key lime shot certainly started the evening off on a slightly sweet but tart note. Our party was seated with finesse: 1 server pulled out each of our chairs and another placed dinner napkins on our laps. It felt like a choreographed dance. Our servers were always within ear shot and our water glasses never went below the 2 sip mark. The Taste of Summer (4 courses for $45): The Chilled Sweet Corn - Buttermilk Soup and Bucatini Nero were amazing!!!! I was a little disappointed that the Roasted Ancho-Glazed Salmon was replaced with Rainbow Trout and the portion size left me wanting more. All in all it was a great experience and I would return. Superb service!!!"

  • "My first time dining at Emeril's and it didn't disappoint. We decided to do lunch so we could experience all courses without breaking our travel budget. The food was perfectly timed, seasoned, and presented. The Peanut Butter Pie is to die for! Servers were present when needed but didn't linger. Overall, a pretty perfect dining experience."

  • "Very good. Much better than last time we dined there. Would return sooner"

  • "The servers were attentive and engaging and that's about it! The food is a very vague representation of what Louisiana cooking is, small portions and average flavor."

  • "It was really fun watching the action in the kitchen from the bar. Our 7-year-old enjoyed it and service was very friendly. I thought the BLT with shrimp remoulade was a little heavy on horseradish, but it was great otherwise. Barbeque shrimp was good. My fiance's chorizo po'boy and my peanut butter pie were the best things we had!"

  • "My first visit to NOLA had to include the notable Emeril's restaurant, and Emeril's didn't let me down. There were three in our group and we enjoyed pasta, and steak options, BUT, the truffle fried chicken looked extremely appetizing and the presentation was beautiful (you know how you look at the food other tables order...yeah, that's what we did!). The staff was terrific and very personable as well as knowledgeable. Our selected entree's arrived hot, beautifully presented and delicious. The menu offered a 4-course option for $45, but it was more food than I was prepared to eat! I would visit Emeril's again."

  • "Food and service was outstanding, as expected. I had a summer sampler of four courses, and it was very good. My wife had a steak, and she was happy also. We both went in that night with a stomach bug, not feeling like eating, but the food made us eat anyway!"

  • "This was my first visit here and I loved it. The staff was awesome and paid close attention to your needs - they gave you what you needed before you could even ask. The food was delicious - I experienced the BBQ shrimp appetizer and wish I had more. My friend had the filet and said it almost melted in her mouth it was tender. I highly recommend this restaurant. Enjoy - it's worth the time and effort to get there!!"

  • "Received a gift card for a wedding present so we tried Emeril's for lunch. Service was outstanding, three people constantly checking on us to see that we didn't need anything. Really enjoyed the kale salad, and the fish was good as well. Wife slightly unimpressed with the salmon as they left the skin on, but the flan for dessert made up for it. I personally can't afford to eat there all the time, but it is really nice for a treat or special occasion."

  • "The restaurant was fantastic! The food was fit for a last meal and the staff were top notch. My husband and I went there for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others for special occasions and also for those interested in health as the ingredients were very fresh and of the finest caliber. This restaurant is fit for foodies as the ingredients were expertly prepared and the flavors and textures were masterfully highlighted. My husband and I took our children on this dining odessey and it was an experience for them to remember as well. I highly recommend it to all who enjoy a wonderful meal."

  • "It had been over a year since I went to Emeril's, and I was completely overwhelmed by how amazing the food, service, and ambiance are. Chef David Slater perfectly executes every dish. Don't miss the BBQ shrimp (of course) and the pho appetizer! What a special experience!!"

  • "The food was not great. Out steak was very tough despite asking for medium. The service was strange. The server used questionable language and always seemed to be at our table. Not a great experience"

  • "I've visited a few of Emeril's and I thought the ambiance was really cool at this restaurant. My wife and I got there really early in hopes of getting seated earlier, we had 8:15 reservations. It didn't happen (which is ok) so we sat at the bar, talked and looked at the food coming out. We might have pumped ourselves up too much as we both thought the food was good, but wasn't anything that we would have to have again. I'm glad we went but I would probably visit other places next time in town."

  • "Emeril's Restaurant takes a different approach to New Orleans cuisine. Not the standard creole or Cajun offerings found in many N.O. restaurants. Every course is a tasty treat with new ways of preparing and unexpected flavors. Exceeded expectations from start to finish."

  • "We had heard about Emeril's on TV before we left home. It lived up to its billing. We were there for Father's Day Dinner the day we arrived. We had made the reservation from home a week or two ahead. The pork chops and white fish were outstanding!"

  • "My husband and I enjoyed a dinner of a life time...the food, wine and surrounding were all amazing. We had the salmon and double-chop entree; both exquisite to the eye and taste, rounding it out with the delectable vanilla bean creme' brule. Everyone was very attentive, cordial and our server made our visit extra special by bringing our dessert with a lighted birthday candle to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. It was a very nice. We will certainly come again."

  • "Been to 3 of E's resturants now. Vegas, Orlando and finally NO. Crawfish Bisque - killer. E's salad - ok. Red Fish crusted - ok. Bannana Cream Pie - not as good nor was the prep the same as Vegas - granted 10 years ago. More like a dense custard then. Very sorry to say all this as have been waiting to go to this place for 20 years. There were others that we ate at in NO that were better ---- sorry E!"

  • "One item that caught our eye on the menu was the lunch crunch, 3 course meal. The food, service and ambience was the best we could wish for. It was wonderful to sit back and enjoy one the the best meals any of us could remember when. I would recommend going to Emeril's to anyone who would listen."

  • "Emeril's was everything we wanted it to be. Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive service and wonderfully delicious food. One thing we weren’t expecting… a SIXTY page wine list! Holy Moly. Our only regret was we were too full to have dessert. Hopefully next time."

  • "This was a "gift" for my ten yr old daughter who watches cooking shows as her cartoons. She was hoping Emeril would be there but was beyond amazed at the atmosphere and ambiance of the place. The food was amazing! Fine creole dining at its best. Another great partwas that she wanted to be sat closer to the kitchen so she could see what was going on... and the staff obliged. I have nothing bad to say."

  • "Took too long. Lunch was the 3 course special. I had to get the dessert to go. Plopped the crime brûlée in a cardboard box ad sent me home with that. Oh well"
