We all enjoyed it immensely. The food was excellent and the service was very good. We liked the location in the Warehouse District because it was walkable from our hotel. We were very relaxed and not rushed through our dinner.

When I found out that my job was sending me to New Orleans for training, it was mandatory to come in and have a taste of New Orleans Emeril's way. It was phenomenal! I wish I could visit Emeril's for every special occasion. I would most definitely say that Emeril's has been my best dining experience in the U.S.

The andouille-crusted Drum (fish) was delicious layered on shoestring potatoes and fresh vegetables. While I normally eat my food one item at a time, eating the layered meal was delightful providing a pleasing crunch between the two soft foods of fish and veggies.
The deserts were good but we were too full to truly enjoy them.

Flavorful, well-balanced, creative.Extensive wine list. Your server is well versed in the wines and can suggest one to perfectly pair with what you are having. The service cannot be beat. Don't forget to have Emeril's world famous Banana Cream Pie for dessert!!!!!
All that said, be warned: appetizer or salad plus entree, plus a glass of a moderately priced wine, plus dessert and coffee will run a minimum of $75 per person. Though it is pricey, it is worth it - for a special occasion. Chalk it all up to being part of the New Orleans experience. Lucky me! I had heard amazing things about this place and I knew that I was guaranteed good service here. Not only was I starving from traveling all day, but I also couldn't eat anything solid... Only liquids and very, very soft foods. Not only were they very helpful to my situation, but they managed to serve me a deliciously complete meal that I could eat, swallow and enjoy! The food and service is always top notch. We started off with a bunch of different apps including the gumbo, the BBQ shrimp, and the roasted garlic soup, all were very good. Then we moved on to the entrees, the Fettuccine Nero, the Trout, and the Scallop and Soft Shell Crab special. All were fantastic then we finished off with a few slices of the banana cake and sherbert . All we expected was realized. Wonderful staff, elegant atmosphere with being stuffy.. Double pork chop was tender and so large, we had the chef split it and we didn't leave hungry. The reservation was confirmed two days before and we made a slight alteration and outdone cheerfully and professionally. When we arrived at the restaurant, we had a one minute wait and were escorted to the food bar overlooking the kitchen. It was very interesting watching how the team moved around the kitchen. The waiter helped us with our meal choices instead of saying everything was great, that way no one was disappointed with any portion of their meal. We were quickly seated after our arrival. The menu was fun and interesting to study. We wanted to sample it all because it all looked so temping.
Ultimately we settled on an appetizer, soup, salad, and entree.
Each dish used excellent fresh flavorful ingredients and was well prepared. Flavors, textures and presentation were all very well done, and complimented each other.
