A decade after Emeril's Restaurant exploded onto the culinary scene, Emeril's has evolved & transformed itself for the 21st century by updating its flagship restaurant. Completed in 2000, the innovative details reflect the significance of the warehouse district location, new New Orleans cuisine & Emeril’s extensive wine list. The Food Bar is framed by a tapestry of glass encased spices showcasing the bold & creative flavors that Chef Emeril features. Emeril's state of the art kitchen is visible from the main dining room. Although walk-ins can be accommodated, reservations are highly recommended. Our dress policy is casual with no sleeveless shirts for men, no hats or flip flops.   • "My husband and I had a great experience. Everyone knew it was his bday. Like three waiters told him, which made him feel very special. Our glasses were never empty. The manager came by to check on us too which was nice. My mole tamarind pork chop was the best thing in my life! I have never tasted anything like it. Very flavorful with all the right spices and sweetness. My husband ordered salmon. He liked it said was very fresh. The chocolate soufflé was a bit much for our taste- very rich in cocoa. We liked the banana pie-light and packed with bananas :) One of the waiter that we had a sense of humor and was friendly, which is great, because we like that waiters can be comfortable and professional."

  • "The food, service, and ambiance was excellent! We all had a different fish dish and all of them were very tasty! The servers were very quick on refills and needs without hovering. The dessert were some of the best we had while in New Orleans- peanut butter pie, creme brulee, upside down whiskey cake with sweet potato ice cream. The wait for the food was short for an upscale restaurant. A much quieter restaurant than the others we visited."

The food and service are probably the best we've experienced in the last few years. The prices aren't cheap but you a good deal for the lovely dining experience you're given. We brought some friends there for the first time and they were so impressed with how fabulous the dinner and service were that night."

The wine list was extensive with great options, I chose the Fritz Zimmer Riesling which was fabulous and paired nicely with the swordfish. I ended the meal with the peanut butter pie.   • "Our experience at Emeril's Restaurant was nothing short of spectacular. From our first encounter at the front check in to our final bite of dessert was amazing. The entire staff was attentive, friendly, out going and courteous. They made us feel special and treated us as if we truly were. The food was unlike anything we have ever had before. Absolutely delicious and impeccably prepared. We never had to look around or wait for service. Each time someone came to our table, it was with a smile and an eagerness to help. We came for my daughters graduation and it exceeded all of our expectations. I highly recommend this restaurant."

  • "The restaurant was only half full and we had a reservation, which we arrived on time for. However, we still had to wait for our table. The service was terrible and it took almost an hour to get our food. When the food finally arrived, my fish was raw. You got the sense that the restaurant's staff were living off of Emeril's name and forgot that you still must deliver. I will never go back to this place. Start to finish, it was a terrible experience, especially given his reputation. We expected alot more. I have had better experience at Wendy's. Don't bother."

  • "Treated my partners to Emeril's, one of my all-time favorites. The stuffed redfish was spectacular. The drum in a dark meuniere sauce with shoestring potatoes was the best I've ever had. An extensive wine list made the decision tough. The star of the meal was the service provided by a trio led by Dale. They knew the menu backwards and forwards, expertly describing ingredients and preparation styles. There are some fantastic dining options in NOLA that rival that of any major cuisine city. But Emeril's continues to provide a creative menu prepared by a kitchen and served by a staff that make it a very memorable meal every time. Kudo's to Kevin Delaune (GM) for putting together a fine team that delivers a wonderful total experience."

  • "The evening started with attentive and social bartenders. The complimentary key lime shot certainly started the evening off on a slightly sweet but tart note. Our party was seated with finesse: 1 server pulled out each of our chairs and another placed dinner napkins on our laps. It felt like a choreographed dance. Our servers were always within ear shot and our water glasses never went below the 2 sip mark. The Taste of Summer (4 courses for $45): The Chilled Sweet Corn - Buttermilk Soup and Bucatini Nero were amazing!!!! I was a little disappointed that the Roasted Ancho-Glazed Salmon was replaced with Rainbow Trout and the portion size left me wanting more. All in all it was a great experience and I would return. Superb service!!!"
