A word from Emeril's Chop House at the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem
In the casual and comfortable setting of Emeril's Chop House, the warm design evokes the timeless craftsmanship of American industry– bronze metal ribboned screens outline the entrance, earth tone colors of leather & beige mohair furnishings contrast with the restaurant’s transparent reflective surfaces & circular crystal pendant light fixtures. The chef’s food bar has a leather panel front & hand finished white-washed oak millwork, & overlooks the open-action kitchen. Two curved wine cellars with polished steel wine racks separate the private dining areas from the rest of the space, & are encircled with a splash of red on the custom carpets. The restaurant’s combination of craftsmanship & elegance is perfectly reflected in the original artwork by local artist Michael Kessler, who achieves his effect with layer upon layer of acrylic paint on wood panel & relies on natural gesture to create his organic forms.Continued

  • "2 out 3 steaks cooked perfectly. 1 steak was ordered medium rare came out medium well. Oh well try and try again. Apps were sub par - Fried Calamari sitting in sauce & Tuna tartar fresh but totally bland. They need to pick up their game."

  • "We were pleasantly surprised to have an absolutely excellent meal in Bethlehem PA! We travel the world (Geneva, Hong Kong, Singapore) and eat at top restaurants. This food compared with the quality at the best hotels and restaurants. Like I said, very surprising."

  • "I had the best veal ever, I was going to order the Veal chop but they had a special Veal steak that was out of this world. tender meat, well season, the potatoes and asparagus cooked to perfection. I couldn't have enough. The service was spectacular."

  • "I LOVE THIS PLACE. EVERY SINGLE TIME I HAVE DINED HERE WITH MY BOYFRIEND , OR EVEN MOM WE RECIEVE NOTHING BUT AMAZING SERVICE. THE FOOD IS ALWAYS AMAZING MOST IMPORTANTLY. ITS NOT ONE OF THOSE PLACES WHERE DEPENDING ON THE DAY YOU GO THE FOOD IS A HIT OR MISS. I HAVE DINED HERE OVER 15X AND ALL 15X ITS BEEN EXCFELLENT.THE BEST STEAK I HAVE EVER HAD. THEY GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE YOU FEEL SPECIAL AND MAKE YOU FEEL WELCOME. IF I COULD CHANGE ANYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE IT WOULD BE NOTHING BECAUSE ITS LITEREALLY PERFECT. LOL. EVEN THOUGH SOME OF THE TABLES ARE CLOSE TO EACHOTHER AND OTHER PARTYS MAY BE SITTING CLOSE TO YOU, YOU CANNOT HEAR THE CONVOS AND THE NOISE LEVEL IS VERY COMFORTABLE. THANKS EVERYONE XOXOXOXO"

  • "The food was interesting and made for great photos to post on social media. I was good too. I felt like we were in a factory - not a very personable staff. No memories - just business as usual. Pretty inside if you get a "good" seat."

  • "DINNER WAS EXCELLENT. I HAVE HAD MANY FILET MIGNON'S IN MY TIME. THIS ONE WAS PERFECT! IT WAS SO SOFT AND TENDER, I WAS ABLE TO CUT IT WITH A BUTTER KNIFE. THE BEST I EVER HAD AND I'VE HAD THEM AT MORTONS, RUTH'S CRIST. SALADS ARE PERFECT, ESPECIALLY THE SALAD WEDGE. GREAT PLACE FOR DINNER WHILE STAYING AT THE SANDS!!"

  • "Food was fantastic. Atmosphere was sub par. Not the cozy, high end steakhouse I was hoping for."

  • "This was my 5th time at Emeril's and the food quality and service is always consistently good. They have one of the best veal chops I have ever had and their banana crime pie is the BEST I ever had. They have a nice selection of wines and cocktails and the service is always spot on. I also believe their pricing is very fair for the level of quality and services you get there. Good for a special occasion that won't break the bank."

  • "The entrees were very pricey and the presentation was disappointing. I ordered the veal chop and it was large but not exceptional in terms of seasoning or taste in general. I added the "Oscar" option which resulted in the chop being place on top of about 8 spears of asparagus with a mound of crab meat on the side. That was a $56 entrée. My appetizer was calamari with peppers. It was tasty and fairly priced at $12. Desserts were another disappointment. We tried the banana cream pie and the reverse peanut butter cup. We were not impressed by either but those were also fairly priced. The highlight of the visit was the very warm and pleasant young wait staff and a good bartender!"

  • "Ordered rack of lamb medium. Served rare. Sent back n discovered it was excessively fatty greater than 50%. Server n manager notified. Offered alternative choice n was deducted from bill. Lamb rack French cut should be inspected by chef n whoever orders the meats. It's inexcusable for a $48 entree"

  • "I was really excited to have dinner at Emeril's for the second time. Our first visit was outstanding, great food and service, a really enjoyable time. This time just wasn't the same. As expected this is an expensive place for dinner. What wasn't expected was our overcooked steaks and being ignored. We ordered medium steaks and they were well done and very dry. Our service in the beginning was great but as soon as our food arrived it was non existent. We would have said something about the steaks if the wait staff stopped by, but we were pretty much finished when they finally did ask us how things were. What was weird was the wait staff continually checked up on the table next to us but we were ignored. So would I go back? Probably not."

  • "service tries to please but the staff behind the scenes fails miserably the so called managers are unenthusiastic, they should try to be on the front lines"

  • "Our first time to Sands and Emeril's Chop House but it won't be our last! From the friendliness of the staff and wonderful food we had a great dining experience. Short ribs Cesar salad and seafood were perfect! Don't forget to order the famous banana crime pie. Yum!"

  • "My husband and I bought Earth, Wind, and Fire tickets for my father-in-law for Fathers Day. The band was playing at the Sands in Bethlehem, PA so, being that we are from Scranton, PA, we thought this was the perfect opportunity to go. We were a little skeptical about the casino, but were pleasantly surprised that it looked, and felt, just like a casino out of A.C.!! Anyway, we made dinner reservations to Emeril's Chop House, to have a meal before the concert. Again we were a little skeptical going in, but the staff was amazing as was the food! A great way to start the evening and the band was great as well!! We had a great night."

  • "Service was spotty and had to wait more than 20 minutes for entrees. Never refilled water. Food portions were on the small side. Would eat there again but it would not be high on my list"

  • "Our party of 4 enjoyed a magnificent Fathers Day evening at Emeril's Chop House. The food was fantastic, the steaks were tender and done to perfection. The wine list is extensive and broad based to satisfy even a strict wine connoisseur. Excellent atmosphere and our server for the evening, whose name was Temba, was outstanding!!!"

  • "We always enjoy eating at Emeril's restaurants and are making it a goal to visit ALL of them in the United States! The food is always excellent and the presentation is just as good. The consistency of the food and wine is what makes his restaurants successful. The standard which is demands of his employees is what it takes to make a restaurant successful."

  • "This was not our first time to this restaurant, we have eaten here many times and always enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately this time was not the case, food was below par for an Emeril's eatery, I have dined at at least 4 other Emeril's restaurants, and never was the quality of food and presentation this inferior. Our steaks were served cool and instead of serving the sauces on the side they were directly on the plate and two of my guests did not care for the taste, I brought this to the attention of the sever and my response was that's the way its served. The final straw was when two people were still having dessert and not one but 2 checks were delivered to the table as to say we were taking too much time,we were only there 1 1/2 hours."

  • "It was our first time to the Chop House. I took my Father and Uncle for a Fathers Day dinner. The service and food was excellent. Our servers were prompt and polite. They were courteous and recommended some great choices. The food was amazing. We had a great time and will definitely be dining there again."

  • "We had another good meal at Emeril's Chophouse. Our table was just where we wanted to be and the N.Y. strip was fantastic. The service could have been better but was OK. There was too much time between visits to our table. I recommend this restaurant."

  • "this was an experience that every one should go to I always wanted to go there and now I was there and enjoyed our evening, and we will return."

  • "Filet Mignon is our favorite entre. We have eaten at many of the "supposedly" great steak houses but none can compare to Emeril's. The steak is prepared perfectly and literally can be cut with a fork. It melts in your mouth and is simply the best. The side dishes are excellent as well. The grilled cauliflower is the best that I have ever had anywhere. We tried the fingerling potatoes for the first time and loved them. And we topped the meal off with one of the great pino noirs from the fabulous wine list."

  • "As always, enjoyed another meal at the Chop House. Don't use the salt or pepper here, it's not necessary. Eat everything the way it is served, you can't improve apon it."

  • "Best T-Bone steak I have ever eaten. Super service an d excellent menu. I will be back."

  • "I have been to Emeril's Chop House before and I am so glad they finally changed their menu. Now they have a wide variety of foods that will please everyone. I had the steak tartare and it was absolutely delicious; one of the best I have ever had. The French onion soup was delicately spiced, full of flavor and the best thing is that it was not salty at all. I can't wait to go back to try some of the other new dishes."

  • "We weren't completely satisfied with our previous visit. We had an awesome server but the food wasn't as good as our previous visits. We still decided to come back this time and it was back to excellent food."
