The menu includes a great fish selection, good steaks, and even a little sushi. The food was great. I enjoyed the sea bass, some sashimi (tuna and salmon) along with a great green goddess salad. One of our party was in a wheelchair and we were seated in a perfect location to put her chair. our waiter was great, always attentive without hovering. Our meals were wonderful. Perfectly cooked and modern without being too bizarre. I would heartily recommend The Embers for gatherings in big family groups as well as more intimate settings. Each member of our party loved their food selection. The Amish Chicken Breast is delicious. My husband proposed to me at Embers and celebrated our 1st Year Anniversary there as well. The waiter really catered to the occasion with a special dessert. It was a wonderful experience. The food and service was superb! And, they gave my son a free dessert for his birthday. He quickly corrected the bill when this was pointed out to him. I had just gone for the 1st time with a group of friends just a few days ago. Fell in love with the stuffed avocado and couldn't wait to go back for that and to try the sushi. As with the 1st time, the food did not disappoint. Absolutely scrumptious. My friend loved the avocados so much that she ordered a second order. I ordered the sushi special. A bit pricey for a roll ($22) but delicious nonetheless. Drinks were good too. Even though we had table reservations, we opted for the bar area as it seemed a bit more lively. So, great experience. All the fine dining restaurants were booked like Ruby's, Morton,s and other well known names but we were able to sneak in here that evening. I think they are up to par as much as those restaurants. We also like that the portions were still nice but not over the top like others where you leave with heartburn. From my experience it should be considered on of the city's top steakhouses. The service was more casual than a Ruby steakhouse, but very high quality and our server was extremely knowledgable about the menu and chef's methods. The waiter (Sean) was excellent. His demeanor set them at ease and he helped them find selections they enjoyed. The service was EXCELLENT and the food was great as well. I think my in laws found a spot they will be attending regularly.
The food is moderately high priced but the quality is well worth it and the service makes you not regret spending it.
