Diner Reviews
  • "The pre fix menu options were outstanding. The sashimi was decadent and the flat iron steak was tender, flavorful and plentiful! Everyone at the table agreed the roasted potatoes were the best we've ever had. I will definitely return to Embers for these incredible appetizers and entrees."

  • "It took over an hour to get our food (four people, simple order), our waiter was neglectful and indifferent, and the food was mediocre and overpriced. It ruined our Sunday. We will never be back."

  • "We went to Embers for Restaurant Week and had such a fantastic meal that I'll definitely be driving across town to go back. The miso glazed salmon was one of the best salmon dishes I've ever had in a restaurant. Everything was cooked perfectly and presented beautifully! The service was excellent as well!"

  • "Great drink/wine/beer menu, lots of choices. Menu is not huge but good selection and the food - OMGosh, SO good. Hubby has a meat sauce like his Aunt Mary would make and my pan-roasted (boneless) chicken was excellent. It came with a savory bread pudding made with Gruyere cheese and brussel sprouts that were perfectly cooked. Also a very friendly and attentive staff, a definite "go back" place."

  • "We eat out every Friday evening in Summerlin, so does EVERY other resident it seems. Consequently the popular restaurants have long wait times and avoid Open Table. But not Embers, there is usually availability via Open Table, they are expecting you when you arrive and the service and food is excellent. I don't understand why it isn't jammed all of the time but I don't think it has an 'identity', Not Italian, Not Asian, Not American, it is a mixture. My daughter and I had Miso Salmon, My son had Fish and Chips and my wife took a steak. Location in Boca is great, if I owned it I would build an outside bar on the outer wall onto the patio like Kona Grill. It would then be buzzing!"

  • "I had a pretty pleasant time there. The food was pretty good, not exceptional but better than average."

  • "Last minute reservation for a quick dinner in Summerlin turned out to be a great neighborhood find. From the minute we entered the restaurant, we were treated like royalty. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and efficient. He answered all our questions and thus made our visit a great one. The food was exquisitely prepared and tasted heavenly. Whether it was the dates wrapped in bacon and mozzarella flatbread, or the spicy soup, or the deliciously tasting chicken and mushroom dishes. The coup de resistance materialized itself in form of creme brule with authentic vanilla bean, all served on square china dishes. Keeper!"

  • "Service was extremely excellent especially considering how many people we had coming in and out for hours. Appetizers were all prepared and presented well and drinks were good too."

  • "From first glance, Embers looks like a more formal, fine dining establishment from the outside. And you'd be half-right in assuming this. Embers serves the most consistent and thoughtfully prepared menu items in the Valley in an upscale pub atmosphere. From their artfully done cocktails, to their tapas plates and entrees, you can sense the effort that their chefs and bartenders put in their offerings. Their brunch menu is great as well. With gaming machines at the bar area, TVs, and a nice dining area, Embers is great for all occasions. And the staff are very attentive. Definitely give Embers a try when you're in the Boca Park area and you want to deviate from the more popular, corporate offerings. You won't be disappointed."

  • "Went for Sunday brunch. Bottomless mimosas used sub-par champagne, and one was noticeably watered down (sparkling water?). Brunch choices were uninventive. Sent entrees back because eggs were cooked hard rather than over medium. Second round was overcooked on one side and undercooked on the other. Coffee was undrinkable, but I still got charged for it. Bacon was great. Decor and ambiance are above average."

  • "We first went to Embers went it opened and we weren't huge fans. But we decided to give it a second try now that they have been open for a while. The service was very slow. Food was just ok. Menu was not that great. I saw 4 stars for this restaurant and have no idea why it has 4 stars. I would not recommend. I think food at restaurants like Cheesecake Factory is much better. "

  • "Our first time at Embers will not be our last! They had a suitable wine list with good selections. We started out sharing the warm spinach salad as an appetizer. Really good dressing, but the spinach was swimming in it! Daughter had the Miso Salmon with steamed rice, red peppers, edamame, and it was seasoned well. Wife had the Chilean Sea Bass with zucchini, potato and chorizo in a bed of broth, also very tasty. I had the fish and chips, with a side of roasted vegetables. We all finished all of our meals, and had a taste of each other's. We finished off with the warm chocolate cake, which was delicious. The only drawback was that the bottom of the cake was slightly burnt. Overall, the experience was good. Good service by Elgin."

  • "I thought this place would be great given the Boca Park area that seems to thrive on top notch places. if they are not good, they will not be around for long. I can see how it might do well as a happy hour spot. The bar area is large and comfortable. For Mother's Day brunch with my boys it was just ok. The breakfast menu didn't have many options. I like eggs and I like them many different ways and I did not find the selection here. I got one of three available omelets. It was decent but very small as compared to other places. My son got blueberry pancakes which he liked a lot, and my other son got sliders and I think he only got two."

  • "Great place for Sunday Brunch - the food is very good. The restaurant has a very appealing interior decor - with a great bar. They could offer a good champagne selection by the glass."

  • "Ended up having a flatbread with truffles and Caesar salad since we were in a rush but I wanted so badly to stay longer for a full dinner! The service was absolutely amazing. Very attentive, polite, and understanding servers and managers. They even called us a cab! Highly recommend."

  • "Had great experience two weeks ago. This time was extremely slow, forgetful service. Sent back dry chicken, burnt hamburger, watery soup, hard brussel sprouts. Remade chicken was better but hamburger still overcooked. Waited 45 minutes to be approached by server to take order. Had to ask twice for bread. Was given gift card for return visit and not charged for hamburger. Was not given free dessert for anniversary because given gift card. "

  • "This place stays on the top of my list. We had a group of eight. Sat outside on the patio on a perfect night. The spicy tuna, carbanara flat bread and dates were great! Mian dishes did not disapoint either. Everyone had something different and all were satisfied beyaond their expectations."

  • "A neighborhood gem! Great food and attentive service although the waiter could have been better informed on preparations and ingredients of dishes. He admitted he had not tried all of the menu items. Not a good idea for generating business or making menu suggestions. Portion size was good and prices were reasonable. The entree choices and sides were interesting and included new spins on usual fare. For dessert, the creme brulee was on a plate with Happy Anniversary spelled out in chocolate."

  • "We finally decided to give this place for a trial run, have always wanted to, but tonight we were in the mood to try something new. It was great, wonderful drinks, food fresh and tasty and the server Richard kept us in stitches. He was very attentive as well. Must go!"

  • "We purchased a Groupon for brunch. The dining room was almost empty, but the patio was busier. We arrived on time for our 11AM reservation. We ordered promptly and received our beverages quickly. Then the wait began.....at 11:45 we were still waiting for our entrees, an omelette and steak and eggs. We asked the server to check on them; he said they were being plated. At 11:55 we received them, only to find the eggs incorrectly prepared. We waited another 15 minutes for my husband's order to be corrected. By the time he received it, I was finished. The manager said she was sorry but there were only two people working in the kitchen and they had so many large parties (2 parties of 6). Portions were smaller than Weight Watchers! Never again"

  • "It was my second visit to embers. I went for the restaurant week and my boyfriend and I did pre-fix dinner. Both of our visits we had Hamachi Sashimi. It was delicious. Then our second course, we had Caesar Salad. Oh my god, I've never had a Caesar Salad tasted so good. It was really light tasting and didn't have the heaviness you would taste from typical Caesar dressing. My third course was Pan Roasted Chicken. I like the crispiness on the skin. Yet inside the chicken was so moist. We finished with Creme Brûlée, and I had a cup of coffee. I have to say their coffee is really good. It has the smooth tasting yet bold. I really enjoyed our last visit as well as our first time :)"
