I liked the range of menu choices. I had the duck and it was delicious, but thought the coconut milk sauce was too soup-like and sweet. The chocolate ribs were good but could have been hotter(temperature). Prices were very reasonable. While there I learned that Todd English is selling out his share to his partner. That is too bad, although I understand that the partner (complicated name) is an up and coming chef. I wish him luck. Not sure I'd rush back there.

The Ember Room is a gem! I love it's atmosphere and am in love with the tomato soup and the croutons - yum! Although the menu is simple, it offers divine gourmet choices.
Don't miss it! This restaurant proves that you may dine with taste and reasonable prices.

Excellent service as the waiters are really there to help. Food is excellent too. We had the duck calamari and the pork belly for starters. The pairing was great. The duck red curry and short ribs were exquisite...and ended with lemon crepe cake..mmmm! Btw if u like spicy try the ladyboy cocktail..good!

What a great find ... I having been trying to go out more on 9th Ave and this is a great reason. Food was Asian fusion that had great flavor and varity. The open gril behind the bar is not only ineresting but adds to the atmosphere. The service was casual but attentive something that is hard to pull off well. Best part was the prices -- a real value the wine list was short but well priced and matched. It is a great place for a drink and snack at the bar or fun group upstairs at a big table.
