We were all new to oysters and our waiter was very helpful and suggested three types that did not scare us away. Wonderful and beautiful place to spend with friends and family. I'm so happy friends of our visiting Seattle recommended it and a local on my flight up highly recommended Elliott's. How could you go wrong."

  • "My daughter and I spent a girl's weekend in Seattle, which included the Pike's Market experience. Our dinner at Elliott's was the Best! We had reservations and were seated at a great table w/ a view of the water. Neither of us had eaten raw oysters before. (If it's your first time, it's free) Our server brought us each one with a special sorbet, etc. It was a lot of fun and delicious! I'd definitely order them next time. We both had the crab cakes, which were to die for!!!"

  • "The menu had mainly seafood and some gluten free options. It gets really dim inside the restaurant after the sun sets, so if you arrive this late, you may want to have a flashlight option on your phone. The food was reasonably good since most of the ingredients are relatively healthy. Our waitress didn't seem interested in explaining the menu much nor cared to offer any suggestions. We waited nearly an hour for our food to arrive, but they did seem crowded when we got there. The portions for the king crab linguine entree was pretty big but the risotto with shrimp entree was less than a salad appetizers, both meals were priced the same. I highly recommend the Oysters Rockefeller, comes with 5 baked oysters in hollandaise and spinach."

Elliott ' s accommodated us and the night was a huge success. Back on the east coast now and the other 3 are still talking about the food and the service. Elliott ' s is without equal."

  • "The variety of oysters were very abundant, of which our server was very knowledgeable. My wife had salmon for the first time which she enjoyed. She eats grouper or red snapper regularly. I had the cioppino which had a great tomato broth and a great variety of shell fish. We were expecting a little more ambience versus a more family oriented restaurant. Our reservation was at 7:30pm...next time I would make it closer to 8:00pm."

  • "I took my friends from out of the country for dinner. It was a real hit. One of my friends loves oysters. Our friendly waitress chose six different kinds of oysters for him. He enjoyed comparing them. They were all delicious. My other friend had clams and mussels. She proclaimed them delicious. I had a heavenly dish of grilled scallops with risotto. The wine list seemed quite adequate. The wait staff couldn't have been friendlier. We were not bothered by gulls during dinner. We surmised that the clam bar nearby, where we had lunch, must attract them away from Elliott's. We had a lovely experience. Thank you!"

  • "Elliott's is 1 of the best seafood restaurants in Seattle; a city famed for its high quality seafood. At lunch with a friend the other day, I had the Grilled Sockeye Salmon Caesar salad and it was outstanding. Elliott's also runs great happy hours and is one of the best places to eat oysters anywhere in the area. They have an impressive array of rums behind the bar. The only drawback is that Elliott's has become so popular, especially with the Vancouver set, that prices have risen considerably over the past few years and the place is almost always crowded. You ca forget getting a table for Happy Hour at 3 pm on a Friday in August; that's when the happy hour oysters are $1.00 a piece (I remember when they were $0.50 a piece from 3 - 3:30)."

  • "A less than average seafood restaurant. Raw oysters are the highlight with many different varieties that are very fresh. A reasonable wine list with some variety in their wines by the glass. A nice location on an active pier. Mashed potatoes that I am pretty sure were blended with instants. A $54 dungeness crab that was dry and served cold. I'd chhose the Pink Door or a fabulous small plate seafood oriented restaurant the Carpenter and the Walrus."

  • "We had asked for a table near the window but ended up fairly far from it. That happens... table locations can't be guaranteed. Service was decent and very friendly, although water wasn't refilled and bread/butter didn't arrive until we finally asked for it later in the meal. What really surprised us was that there isn't any view, other than the Argosy Cruise ships beside the restaurant, and the prices which were very, very high compared to comparable seafood restaurants in the area. We knew prices would be high but guessed (incorrectly) it was because we were also "renting" a great view. Problem was... there is no view. Valet parking was $8 and very prompt. Nice service at a fair price. Overall, Elliott's is very over priced."

  • "My husband and I found this place in December of 2013 while visiting our son who's in the Navy. We stopped because the name of the place is my maiden name along with the two L's and two T's, so we had to try it!!!! It was outstanding. I brought my son to it while visiting him again in July of 2014, we splurged and got appetizer, lunch and dessert. It was pricey, but the service, the quality of food, the flavor of the food is well worth the price. Definitely a place to go for extraordinary food and extraordinary service. As long as I have family up here I will visit this place at least once. I've made sure to tell my family and all my on-line Navy Moms about this wonderful restaurant."

  • "I cannot say enough about Elliott's. This was my boyfriend and my first date almost six months ago so we decided to come back to celebrate. The staff was wonderful, the view fantastic, and the ambiance was perfect. Our server was very knowledgeable regarding all the oysters they offer and recommended some based off our tastes. They gave us a complimentary appetizer for our anniversary. Love this restaurant and the food is perfectly Seattle. Thank you again"

  • "Delicious oysters (huuuge selection), amazing salmon, and fabulous king crab legs. Only issue is that it is more of a destination restaurant experience, so it's very pricey. The food is excellent, but I've had less expensive excellent seafood since we live in a port city also (east coast). The view is good, but not great, more of a wharf than a gorgeous water overlook. HIGHLY recommended, but if you have to ask "how much is this going to be?" you're going to have a bit of sticker shock."

It was our first time in Seattle and made a point of going to Pike's Market, walked around a bit and then happy to have a nice place for dinner.
