We were vacationing in the northwest and our last dinner was at Elliot's. Everything was perfectly cooked and the oysters were super-fresh and delicious. The restaurant is very large and noisy, almost raucous. Fortunately, we were given a very nice booth in the "quieter" section of the restaurant and could savor our dinner and conversation. The accolades are well-deserved but many tables are uncomfortable.

Our party had: Salmon, almond barley rice, shrimp skewer and pecan tartlet Halibut, veggies, scallop skewer and sorbet Clam chowder, lobster risotto, and creme brulee and a bottle of Chateau St. Michelle Sauvignon Blanc. Everything was delicious. A little bit expensive but not unexpected and definitely worth the money!! Service was excellent. For a busy dining room with many diners, it was fairly quiet. Must check if you are in wandering the Seattle waterfront.

This was our first time going to Elliott's Oyster House and as a family it was a great experience. The staff were friendly and with the reservations made online the wait was minimal. Over all it was a nice night out with my husband and daughter. The food was excellent. I am not much on the Oysters but the salmon that I and my daughter had were done to our request and had great flavor. Husband's chicken was nicely done with the potatoes and veggie. We enjoyed our time together as a family and the view was awesome.

A leisurely lunch with my wife & daughter while on vacation in Seattle was delicious as a result of choosing Elliot's. The seafood offerings were outstanding! The smiles on our faces betrayed the utter joy of dining on authentically fresh seafood unavailable in Dallas. The Dungeness Crab & Shrimp Melt were a hit with my crew......no talking, just smiling! That's always a good sign of delicious dishes.

I appreciate the free first raw oyster, especially since it will be my only one! Nice try. Seafood salad was very good. The oyster lover in our group really enjoyed her raw ones. Service was great, very attentive. Atmosphere was nicely upscale without being stuffy. If I return to Seattle, I would go again.

We had the worst service here on Saturday night. Waiter was disinterested in our table- we had to flag him down for everything. Food was OK except one salmon entree was served raw and still ice cold. Not the kind of experience we would expect for a $280 dinner for a party of four!

Our dining experience at Elliot's is never a disappointment. The food is always nicely prepared and beautifully presented, ingredients are fresh, taste is delicious, and service is among the best in the city! Elliot's is also our "go to" place if we need to catch a ferry and don't have time for leisurely dining. Although a leisurely meal is the ideal, and our preference, a quick dinner at Elliot's never seems rushed, and the wait staff is always accommodating. Great food, wonderful staff, best view!

I have been wanting to go to Elliott's for over a year now, so was very excited. I was very happy with the online reservation process and we were seated fairly prompt. The restaurant atmosphere was great and the view beautiful. What disappointed me and my husband was the food. It lacked flavor. The mussels and clams appetizer was very fishy tasting. My husband had salmon and said it was very bland in flavor.

  • Friday Night Dinner with Mom

    Dined on 9/19/2014
7 PM Friday night dinner to celebrate mom's arrival. Mom won't eat raw oysters, so we ordered Rockefeller--best darn Oysters Rockefeller, ever. Service took forever. We waited over 30 minutes for the Rockefeller. We waited another 30 minutes for entrees. Mom's pan-seared oysters were heavily breaded. Her salad was soaked in dressing. She didn't eat it. Steamed crab was tender, but not hot. Better than grilling at home? NO WAY. Except for the view. DO: sit outside and take in the awesome view. Ask for a blanket, if you're chilly. Order dessert. We didn't, but they looked great. Do order the crab legs. Do order a salad with the dressing on the side. Save room for dessert. DON'T: order the steamed whole crab. It's not hot out of the kitchen.

This was my second time to Elliott's within a month, and I WILL return again. We shared 2 doz fresh oysters (cold, fresh and sweet), followed by their amazing traditional clam chowder, salads, and the most delicious Simply Grilled Halibut and Alder plank King Salmon. Both were delicately seasoned and cooked just to perfection...not overdone! Service was a bit slow and not as efficient as our waiter last month, but very polite and helpful. Looking forward to your renovation and re-opening!

We had relatives in from Indiana that were not familiar with Seattle. Elliott's delivered on the view and our visitors asked many questions about the water front and what they could see from our seats. The hors devours were outstanding and showcased Elliott's seafood expertise. The main dishes were above average and everyone was impressed. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable.

The restaurant was expensive so my expectations were high. I was a little disappointed. Our server Amberlie was excellent. Very knowledgeable (we wanted to know about the oysters) and patient considering the restaurant was getting busy. The choices she helped us make were fantastic, the best oysters I have ever eaten. My husband enjoyed the cioppino. My choices, crab cakes and beet salad were average. By this time the restaurant was pretty packed and noisy especially as there was a group across the way that were getting drunker and louder as the evening progressed. It was really cold in the place and there is no ambience, it just felt touristy. I would recommend it for oysters and drinks.

We wanted to eat nice oysters and sea foods and found this restaurant. Wide varieties of oysters are offered (~20 species) at reasonable price ($2.0 ~ 3.5). they were fresh and tasty. we also enjoyed several sea foods. All of them were great. Service was satisfactory. It took some time to catch a taxi from the restaurant on our way back, but except this, we had excellent time.

The service was good and the oysters available is extensive and well worth the price. I would suggest asking your server for recommendations. He asked good questions to find out what we were looking for and made fabulous recommendations. We loved everything he suggested. The food was fresh, well portioned, and beautifully presented. We ate dinner at a more upscale place nearby and wished that we had instead returned to Elliot's. Of all the places we dined on our honeymoon, this was by far the favorite.
