  • "we had an amazing visit July 6,2014. Excellent service, outstanding food and very kid friendly."

  • "I'm from the East Coast. Every time I'm in Seattle, it's dinner at Elliott's. It's always reliable with superior fish and seafood and a much better oyster selection than I can get at home. Popular with both locals and tourists."
    Dined on 7/7/2014
  • "Very poor experience. Took a long time for food to arrive only to have order incorrect. Would not recommend or go back. A waste of time and money. They are riding on their reputation."

  • "We were expecting more from this restaurant. They 86d mussels but were gracious enough to prepare the clams in the same teqiila lime preperation. They were really good. The 'celebration' had some really great snow crab claws as well as Dungeness clusters but the oysters were not good. We left 5 of the 8 on the plate. Service was okay. Will go back if in town again."

  • "Came here for dinner because a friend recommended their red clam chowder. My husband tried it and thought it was just ok. He tasted some sand in there. I ordered the white king salmon and it was delicious, cooked very well. A little disappointed that bread is not complimentary considering the caliber of this restaurant. Glad I tried once, but probably wouldn't come here again."

  • "ocated amongst the tourist traps at the waterfront, EOH is a gem. The oysters were amazing. The spinach salad w smoked salmon was drenched in creamy dressing with a few flakes of smoked salmon, but we sent it back for the much better grilled seafood salad. Service was excellent."

  • "Elliott's is our go-to waterfront seafood restaurant, especially for entertaining out-of-town guests. Fresh oysters and delicious entrees, great service and knowledgeble staff - we'll be back again."

  • "Our experience (myself and my 12-year-old son) was superb from the greeters to the wait staff. Our waiter was Andrew and he was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. He was so nice to describe the different type of Salmon Preparations and I chose the Cajun -which was the best. I was a little jealous as we were inside when the weather was so beautiful, the perfect place to sit outside and have brunch, lunch, or dinner."

  • "Good beer and oysters. We shares a salmon plate which was exceptional. Clam chowder was ok. Bodega Bay California is by far still the best."

  • "We had a great time at Elliott's The service was wonderful, the oyster and wine selection both plentiful The salmon is great Highly recommended"

  • "Had a wonderful dinner here. The server was very knowledgeable and helpful in picking which oysters to try. The view of the waterfront was a beautiful setting while enjoying the very tasty seafood. The halibut and all the chowders were excellent. Would definitely dine here again."

  • "The restaurant is a pretty typical on the water, in Seattle, seafood restaurant. The food was good, the service was good and the view was great."
    Dined on 6/21/2014
  • "We make a point to visit Elliot's every time we're in town. This time the food was very disappointing. Chowder was bland and potatoes undercooked. Cod was tough and even the burger was boring. Usually very consistent but not so this time."
    Dined on 6/28/2014
  • "This was my favorite place in Seattle during my visit to get oysters. They had the most extensive selection - 30 types. I liked the way the oyster bar was set up. The chowder was excellent. We went back to this place 3x during our 5 day visit = 2 lunches and one dinner. Good beer selection. Seafood platter was great. Top of its class for less formal dining and a raw bar."

  • "We have been going a few times a year for over ten years. We have always been happy with the food and attentive service. Great for being able to carry on a conversation across a table of six."

  • "Over the years we have always enjoyed Elliot's & often took out-of-town visitors here for dinner. We hadn't been in quite awhile & were surprised at how much the prices had gone up. The food is still excellent, but I cannot believe that a restaurant that charges upwards of $35 for their fresh fish dinners then charges for the bread! We asked for bread & were told we could get 5 slices for $3. None of us could believe it. Even the least expensive diners don't charge for bread. We were annoyed enough with the higher prices & bread charge that I don't think we'll be returning."

  • "I personally expect a restaurant with high prices to reflect that in the quality of the food preparation and presetation. Elliott's was a disappointment. The seafood Linguini was bland. The seafood was over cooked to the point that the mussels disintegrated and the scallops were like marbles. The Salmon was far over cooked and dry. Based on the location I expected to pay more. It was very tacky to charge above and beyond for bread. I will make it a point not to return. We had a much better experience at Anthony's earlier in the week."

  • "Wonderful food and helpful staff. Only downside was air conditioning which poured frigid air on us all evening. As we were dressed in light clothing suitable for the summer like temperatures outside we were reduced to trying to use the linen napkins as tiny blankets."
    Dined on 6/23/2014
  • "We had a very late reservation, right before they closed, so that may explain why it wasn't better. The food was just ok - really nothing special, and overpriced for what it was."

  • "Had Lunch at your restaurant for the first time on recommendation of friend and enjoyed it. The waiter was especially attentive and helpful. The view was quite nice."

  • "The spicy crab was tasty. The seafood pasta was horrible it was sticky and had an odd flavor. The dessert was odd as well. The fried fudge Sunday don't get it. Also the rest rooms were in need of service. Waiter was pleasant but harried. I will not go back with other places to choose from."

  • "We were given recommendations by friends, as well as online reviews for Elliot's Oyster House. We were not disappointed! The food, service and atmosphere was great and left us with a memorable experience. Though a bit pricey when compared to other Seattle venues, Elliot's Oyster House certainly stands head and shoulders above the rest of the crowd."

  • "At 1st I thought this restaurant was going to be a tourist trap.It was pretty expensive, but we'll worth every penny! My husband and I usually get different meals so we can share. This time we both got a mushroom strudel with fig for an App.It was fantastic, also we shared a dozen West Coast Oysters.Yum O.Lastly was the perfectly cooked and presented roasted Halibut."

  • "I came here with my husband during our trip to Seattle. We both love seafood and wanted an authentic northwest experience and a fun atmosphere. We ordered a dozen oysters (an assortment recommended by our server), king crab legs and grilled scallops. Everything was fresh and delicious. For dessert, we had fried dark chocolate truffles with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. The server was great about offering suggestions when we asked for them. We had a gorgeous view of the water at sunset. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning the next time I'm in Seattle!"

  • "Had dinner at Elliott's with my husband. The atmosphere was just what we were looking for - not too casual, not too formal. We had a reservation and were seated right away (if we hadn't been this would be a negative review). Service was good. The waiter had a good sense of humor and was appropriately attentive. He spaced our food as we liked it. The raw oysters were very good. I had the crab cakes entree and the great flavor overruled the soggy texture. My husband's salmon was seasoned just enough to bring out the flavor of the fish, not to mask it, and it was cooked just right. I've had better molten lava cake, but this one wasn't bad."

  • "My reservation was for 6 p.m. on a Thursday. My party ordered the Appetizer sampler($37), Shrimp risotto ($31), cup of clam chowder($4), and Coconut shrimp($14) for food. Drinks were house Amber($?), a shot a bourbon ($10), and strawberry lemonade($2.50). The food was all fresh and everything tastes amazing!! You could tell the waiter knew the menu and helped me narrow down what to order by listening to what i was looking for. I was pleased with the overall experience of the restaurant and will return soon."

  • "We went to this restaurant for our 27th wedding anniversary. We had a gift certificate we had gotten from friends. Seafood sounded wonderful - so it was time to give this a try. The appetizers were yummy (oysters rockafeller & wild mushroom in pastry with fig chutney); house green salad was very very tasty. I had crab cakes (which I loved) and my husband had the copper river salmon. The portions were generous which left no room for dessert. I have already recommended this place to a couple friends. I will definitely go here again."

  • "A great restaurant in every possible way. No downside"

  • "Been here several times since it is on the water and seemed a good place to entertain out of town guests. Each time the food was good but not great. As you might expect they do a nice job with oysters and their calamari is quite good but it was hard to get excited about the rest, which is unfortunate when one looks at the expense of eating here. Figured it might have been that one visit but over the years I've been several times and leave with the same feeling each time. Service on the other hand has been noteworthy. I was disappointed to be sat in the back corner this last visit despite making reservations for a mid-week evening days in advance and requesting a view seat. I was entertaining guests from out of town so very unfortunate."
    Dined on 6/11/2014
  • "My fiancee and I celebrated our engagement here. The waiter was helpful, entertaining, and very nice. Also, the food here was amazing! We split the calamari for an appetizer and each had the sockeye copper river salmon. This was easily the best salmon I have ever had! If we come back to Seattle, we will definitely be dining here again!"

  • "Great oysters! So many varieties, and they were huge and tasty. The Raw Oysters we had were delicious, as were the Oysters Rockefeller. We were full, so had the Blackened Caesar Salad, and Steak Salad. Both were wonderful. Had planned on dessert, but were too full. Hope to return to Seattle to go back."

  • "My wife and I had a relaxing dinner on the outdoor deck. My seafood salad was quite good, and Katy enjoyed her oysters. The service was just right...not too overbearing, but available when we needed them."

  • "Elliott's Oyster House is a wonderful place to dine. The food was delicious. The service was great. The ambience was wonderful. I went back there twice within a three day period. Definitely a place to go for great food and service when you are in the area."

  • "This is one of the finest oyster houses in the country. It includes an enormous selection of local and regional oysters. The Dungeness Crab is also fantastic here, prepared in several different ways. Finally, in Seattle, there is no combination of outstanding oysters and view than Elliott's. Take your friends from out of town or just treat yourself!"

  • "We travel from Montana to enjoy the extensive oyster list. Great food and great service."

  • "This restaurant came up as a top pick when I search Downtown Seattle Seafood Restaurants. Boy, was that wrong. Great location, but that's all that was good about it. The fish was overcooked and dry, the service was marginal. Tourist trap. Don't go"

  • "I had the braised beef and scallops which was fantastic the beef was so flavorful and tender and the scallops cooked to perfection. My husband had the cooper river salmon and his was cook perfect and all the flavor one could ask for. They were quite busy but our server still managed to give us excellent service and all food was delivered in timely manner."
