  • "Found Ellerbe on opentable . Great service from Scott our server, very professional and attentive. Wife had Quail and I had Rabbit which were absolutely delicious. Presentation excellent. From farm to table is their daily menu theme. A must try. A dining pleasure without being rushed. AWESOME"

  • "It was our first time here! The name caught my eye when I was glancing through google as my name was Ellen. I looked through the menu and saw that they had Pork Belly. Immediately I said to my husband, let's try it. We asked for a 4 top and got it. We were served by Michael, wh gave us fantastic service and had answers to all of our questions. We will ask to have him again. Well said and done, we will dine there again, and I am sure we will have the same experience."

  • "Celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary this past weekend and dined at Ellerbe Fine Foods Restaurant. The service and the food were both outstanding. Scott, who was our waiter, was delightful He was a well of great information as well as making the dining experience enjoyable and lively. We loved the fresh local farmer's market ingredients that they used in the meal preparation. The presentation was highly appealing. I would recommend this restaurant to others."

  • "We happened upon Ellerbee's one month after opening and considered it the best mistake that has ever happened for us dining wise! Since then they have become our favorite restaurant in the metroplex and while we don't go as often as we would like, we have never been disappointed with any dish, morsel or bite! This place takes farm to fork to a whole new level and their staff is informative and excellent at figuring out what each person should order based on their likes and dislikes. Bree, our server during this visit, was probably one of the most adept servers we've encountered at wine pairing. The Fort Worth dining scene is fortunate to have this gem and Chef Molly deserves all her accolades."

  • "My wife and I once again traveled a good distance from North Dallas to celebrate our wedding anniversary at Ellerbe's. This is our fourth trip to celebrate such an occasion. The farm to table concept is executed to perfection. Time after time we have found Ellerbe's consistently wonderful. The charm of the space never wanes. Service is impeccable and the food is simply amazing. Best kept secret in the DFW metroplex. And don't forget to inquire about the mint ice cream...."

  • "Our waiter Joe was warm and friendly. He made a great suggestion for a wine to go well with our group of four's food selections if rabbit, salmon, steak, and quail. Service was fast and efficient but we never felt rushed. We were made to feel at home."

  • "Excellent food, service, atmosphere, prices. Menu varies based on what she finds at the market and from purveyors. Located in an area that has many new restaurants built in existing houses and old stores. This one is located in a former gas station. Holds about 100 patrons. Clearly earned its top 1 percent rating on Tripadvisor Urbandining Yelp. Will definitely return."

  • "Ellerbe Fine Foods is simply the best overall restaurant in Ft. Worth. Farm-to-table products, exceptionally well-prepared dishes, sophisticated yet friendly atmosphere, and stellar service make it a restaurant that we enjoy returning to time after time. "

  • "This was probably my most unimpressive visit to Ellerbe's. The menu was very limited at lunch, only light offering, the Chicken Waldorf Salad. It was "ok" but nothing special. The food is usually much better so I know it was probably just an off day. I will definitely go again."

  • "Once again, a great dining experience. New menu with interesting choices, Fresh, Local ingredients and innovative preparations. We traveled from Edmond, OK to enjoy Ft. • "Went there for lunch. Arrived as they opened. Many of the items on the menu were not available which greatly reduced our selection. A couple of the items not available were the house specalties."

  • "Mother's Day Brunch was delicious! There were three of us, and we each had one of the menu offerings. ALL courses were delicious - fresh - amazing ! Even the small crostini was so full of flavor - delectable !! I can rave about every detail ... even down to the wonderful fresh flavor of the lettuces in the salad! And who raves about the taste of lettuce?? I know! Every bite and morsel was heavenly. Thank you thank you thank you Ellerbe!!"

  • "This was our second time visiting Ellerbe's. We started off by sharing the asparagus salad, I had the antelope osso bucco and my husband had the braised pork belly. The asparagus salad was a great starter and my osso bucco was delicious. Our only complaint was the pork belly - over half of the pork belly was fat, and my husband was only able to get a few good bites. It was served over a corn meal crunch which came off a little dry and bland. Luckily my dish was a larger portion, so he was able to share off of mine. Our bill came with three shortbread cookies with a caramel filling that were delicious...The service is excellent, the menu concise and unique and overall, a great spot for a date night. "

  • "Ellerbe has a great menu and wine list. However don't bring kids! They have no kids menu and nothing on the list for kids younger than 10 or 12. Bring your own food or snacks for kids. "

  • "We originally found this place on line while looking for a nice place to dine in Ft. Worth. Our first experience was great, so opted to go again with my mother-in-law while in town for a wedding. Everything was just right - to the quiet atmosphere, the attentive wait staff, the wine list and the food! We had the cornmeal crusted oysters with cole slaw and cheese plate for appetizers. All were very good. For our entries, I had the antelope which was very good, but a little rich for my taste. My wife had the halibut which she really liked, and my mother-in-law had the chef's steak which was well flavored but a little tough. We had the complementary lemon cookies for dessert - a wonderful touch!"

  • "Review is late- but needed to express that my husband and I had a truly wonderful experience at Ellerbe Fine Foods for Valentine's Dinner. This was our first visit and cannot wait to go back - this will be our go to place for special dinners. The food and service was superb! "

  • "We dined at Ellerbe Fine Foods for our daughter's 21st because we wanted a memorable experience for her. We were not disappointed. Our server was professional, attentive and welcoming. The pace of our experience was just right. There was adequate time between courses yet we weren't rushed. Our meals were top shelf as we'd expected. The baseball cut was medium rare as ordered and tremendously flavorful. My wife's redfish was moist yet flaky. Presentation of the dishes alone is worth the experience. Ellerbe should be considered amongst the top dining experiences in Ft. Worth."

  • "Very good! While I like steak, sometimes it nice to get really good food that is not steak. Ellerbe's offers steak, but that is not main attraction. They offer a variety of other entrees, usually local, with a very "foody" touch. Recommended"

  • "We love this little place. I had the Antelope Osso Bucco and my husband had the steak du jour. The Osso Bucco was nice though a little salty for my taste; the accompanying polenta was wonderful . My husband's steak had a nice smoky flavor to it. My desert was the upside down cake was fantastic and this is probably the best coffee I have had at a restaurant in Fort Worth ever. Service was superb though a little slower than most places, in the vein of a traditional European dinner which has its merits when you have the evening to kill. The wine list was...meh. Nothing jumped out at me. The few I recognized were over priced even by upscale restaurant standards and I didn't see any great desert wines. Overall, a total win though."

  • "If you want to dine at a restaurant that is a real treasure, this is the place. Scrumpcious food, attentive service, and fine dining are here in the environs of an old gas station. A delightful evening."

  • "My wife and I have dined at Ellerbe's numerous times over the past 4 years. This meal was by far the best. Her duck confit was outstanding and my veal was uniquely excellent. Desserts were original and excellent too. Ellerbe's wine list also offers fine alternatives to the high priced Napa reds, such as the Browne "tribute" blend. A+."

  • "My wife will agree to go nowhere else except Ellerbe for her birthday...we are never disappointed. Food and service are always top-flight, and we always find a new wine to love from their wine list."

  • "I have loved Ellerbe since I first ate here in '09. It was the first restaurant to really launch Magnolia Avenue as a premier location in DFW for innovative dining and the first restaurant in DFW to really do farm-to-table as something more than an advertising pitch, etc. Since Ellerbe opened, the restaurant scene in DFW has exploded with lots of choices, probably more than a few of them inspired by Ellerbe and its success. But Ellerbe still has it, and has gotten better with age. Everything tastes fresh, every dish is inventive and is certainly nothing you could make on your own (and if it is, you need to start looking for space on Magnolia Ave). In close - EAT HERE *if* you can get a table! It's getting harder and harder every day!"

  • "It is not often that a restaurant lives up to its hype, but Ellerbe is everything that its reviewers claim it to be. A wonderful meal at a sensible price point...I've paid far more for less. A+++ to kitchen, servers and hostess."
